What is Poker Night about? :)

Poker Night is my Sienna Shepard x James Vega fic that I'm writing with @bioware-bard ^_^

It was supposed to be a oneshot, but it's ballooned into a 3 part fic (at this stage!) and a series of drabbles which we keep writing as we explore and extend their world.

I can honestly say I've never had so much fun writing a fic! I think our writing styles really compliment each other, and we find ourselves on the same page with our ideas and plotting.

The idea behind the fic is simple - Sienna and James have been flirting shamelessly but something always gets in the way, and they both firmly believe the other is indifferent. On the night of the Citadel party, they find themselves the last two standing and decide to play strip poker.

James is confident he'll win and get to impress Shep with his poker skills, and Sienna is determined to let James win and have an excuse to make something finally happen between them! ;) They're both idiots, and they both want each bad.

A Study of Abuse and Forgiveness: The Skull Kid

Let’s talk about the Skull Kid.  I was eight when I first played Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. I was lucky enough to have open parents who exposed me to different aspects of life through film, theatre, video games and life events. Violence was something I quickly learned through ‘Alien’ and other forms of art. However, for me, this moment was different from other forms of violence when I experienced it. It made me uncomfortable. Not from the violence itself though, but what the violence represented, and what I took away from it. Friends shouldn’t hurt friends.

The Skull Kid is my favourite Legend of Zelda character, and one of my favourite characters in fiction when you pair him up with Majora. This is a character who is a child of mind and soul. And what makes him realistic to me, is that he’s a kid. And most kids are the paragon of mischief and misbehaviour. They have fun, whether or not they do so at the expense of others’ comfort at times, mostly adults. This does not necessarily make kids inherently bad too.

We learn more about the Skull Kid before he had the mask through the word of Tatl. According to Tatl, people didn’t associate or play with Skull Kid because he was always up to tricks. This may be why, when they find Skull Kid, he is all alone and hiding under a log, shivering from the rain, even though he’s not too far away from Clock Town. People don’t like to be tricked after all, but we don’t know how far Skull Kid went with his pranks. Did he hurt the feelings of people around him greatly, or did he simply annoy them to the point of indifference?

Kids are usually loud or are big and noticeable with their actions when they want attention. For someone as lonely and different as the Skull Kid, it was friendship he sought. So, when he befriends Tatl and Tael he seems pretty content. The most trickery we see is him sneaking up on Tael and giving him a spook, or drawing Grafitti on a tree. Other than that, the Skull Kid is simply playing in the fields of Termina, playing music for his new friends, and having a good time. He acts like an average kid.

Then Majora’s Mask enters the picture. This is the first chronological case of abusive behaviour from Skull Kid. One might be able to argue that the mask somehow reached out to Skull Kid’s weak mind and influenced the Imp’s actions subtlety but, at the end of the day, the Skull Kid used violence to knock the Happy Mask Salesman out cold, rummage through his sack, and take Majora’s Mask for himself.

Now, it’s an interesting case to judge the actions of Skull Kid from this point on. There seems to be acts of evil that are clearly the Entity of Mask’s influence, such as the destruction of the world, as it would not have benefited the Skull Kid of before; however, we also see that the Skull Kid appears to be able to control his actions, at least in the opening act. He slips off the mask to congratulate his fairy friends, so the mask has not fully possessed him at that point or, at the very least, it does not seem to worry about Skull Kid abandoning it.

These are the crimes that were carried out by the Skull Kid throughout the game, but there is no way to know who was in control. 

- Turning Kafei into a child, resulting in a near broken relationship.

- Transforming the Deku Butler’s Son in a rooted husk, permanently killing him.

- Sealing the Giants Guardian Gods away.

- Physically assaulting Koume the witch, leaving her in a paralyzed state.

- Cursing Woodfall, creating a monster that kidnapped the Deku Princess, leaving an innocent monkey to be unjustly punished.

- Cursing Snowhead, leaving the mountains in an never ending winter, freezing Gorons, sending the Goron Hero Darmani to his death, and leaving him a ghost full of regrets.

- Cursing Great Bay. Following this by telling a group of Gerudo Pirates to steal Lulu’s Zora Eggs, which short term gets Mikau killed, and long term tricks the pirates into traveling into a typhoon.

- Cursing Stone Tower, unleashing spirits of the dead and damned, which are unable to return to rest, and cursing Pamela’s father into becoming a Gibdo.

- Knocking Link out, mugging him, stealing his horse and Ocarina, ditching the horse right after because he can’t ride it, cursing Link into becoming a Deku Scrub, and laughing as he leaves his friend Tatl behind.

- Cursing the moon to fall and crash onto Termina, bringing the end to all life.

- Striking his friend Tael for pleading for help to the giants.

It may have been Skull Kid himself, the Skull Kid under the influence of the mask, or Majora with Skull Kid unaware at all of his actions and possibly being under control of Majora, with the demon speaking through Skull Kid, possessed ala Regan from the Exorcist. 

Some of these seem childish and in line with Skull Kid, such as the opening act with Link or cursing Kafei, but I choose, in my opinion, to believe Majora at least influences most of these evil actions. That said, a lot of pain has been inflicted on others leading up to the the end of the three day cycle. Does the Skull Kid deserve forgiveness for his actions?

The biggest contender for forgiveness is the giants. They are the guardians of Termina. It is their job to ensure the inhabitants are safe. Yet, after all the giants are freed from the imprisonment by the power of the mask, they say this to Link and Tatl.

“Forgive your friend.”

They see the grasp of evil the mask has enveloped around the Skull Kid. This is a kid who has become entangled with something absolutely insidious, and they recognize that. That said, I also wish to examine a more grounded viewpoint of the argument of the abuse Skull Kid was a part of and whether or not he deserves forgiveness by looking into the debate between Tatl and Tael.

Tatl, rightfully so, is concerned for her brother. Skull Kid’s hitting of his friend and her brother is NOT acceptable behaviour. It is not something that is ok. And, like any child, he should know better. Now, this can be interpreted as the Skull Kid having hit Tael more than once off screen, but is more likely evidence of Tatl’s immunity to the effect of time reset, and her losing her patience for seeing Skull Kid hit her brother over and over and over again in the time loop.

This is a line to convey pity and, perhaps, remorse for the Skull Kid. The little imp seems to have always been alone. In the Lost Woods he was separate from other Skull Children; he didn’t seem to be included with the people of Clock Town and his antics made him isolated. Should we forgive Skull Kid just because of his life? Because he is a child in mind and soul, can we hope that he will become a better person if shown compassion and friendship?

Even if we are hurt and lonely, we make the choices that define us. To Tatl, Skull Kid chose to cause destruction and pain by lashing out with the power of the mask. Regardless of whether or not Majora made that final choice, the message is strong. We can’t defend bad behaviour just because of circumstance.

Absolutely. With great power, comes great responsibility. Give power to a child and bad things will happen, but the Skull Kid was doomed to failure due to the evil that possessed him, not him possessing it.

Which leads to the ultimate reveal. In the end, Majora manipulated Skull Kid’s weak will to its own end. It worked through Skull Kid to bring about pain, suffering, and death to the world. Skull Kid’s body is cast aside as Majora reveals itself at the final hour.

A big part of Majora’s Mask, is that you save a lot of people from the pain the mask is inflicting on the world. All of the masks you collect are symbols of every person you have helped to live a happier life. And Skull Kid is the last person you save from Majora. He was manipulated by a darkness far beyond his comprehension. And despite hurting Tael, the fairy forgives his friend.

However, what matters to me the most about the Skull Kid is an act that comes after you slay Majora. The Skull Kid displays shame at his actions.

He lowers his head and shakes. To me, this can be taken two ways. He could be addressing the giants, shocked at how they forgave him. Or, alternatively, I think it could be subtly showing Skull Kid is ashamed of hurting Tatl and Tael, that he feels guilt at his actions. He feels guilt that he was shown compassion. And the fairies fly over to comfort him in an act of forgiveness. Despite any abuse the Skull Kid committed under Majora, they forgive him. To me, it’s huge that Skull Kid shows any regret at all. It’s a sign of self-reflection, which he can use to become a better person.

Vaati is an evil wizard who kidnaps women. Zant is a crazy creep who usurped his kingdom. Ganondorf is an evil king who tries to control the world. Skull Kid is a child. You want to save him, with everyone else in Termina, because he has an innocence the other antagonists of Zelda just don’t share. He is someone you can be friends with at the end, once all of the evil has been exorcised out of the land and its people. In my own conclusion, I believe we can forgive Skull Kid, just as the Giants, Tael, Tatl, and Link have done.

Skull Kid isn’t completely evil. But, he also isn’t completely pure. He’s a kid. Kids screw up - sometimes they hurt their friends with the choices they make. But they can also learn from their mistakes. And they learn better if given a chance to be forgiven.  I believe Skull Kid just needs a friend to help guide him, and he can grow through the ages to be a good person, and an even better friend back.

This is a very interesting question. Ganondorf has been traditionally green. This could be seen as a possibility that all Gerudo men are like this, but it also could stem from the fact he is the reincarnation of Demise that makes his skin a sickly green. Perhaps option B is something also akin to Sith Lords, and how the more they delve into the dark side, the more deformed or more unnatural their appearance becomes. Gerudo Woman are definitely more of an option A. It looks good on Kanisa and Orana. And you could make the argument Covarog could be option A or B, but Ralnor is definitely a B given his darker background. One should also take into account how Zelda’s lighter skin tone would contribute with mixing with Ganondorf to produce their offspring. So perhaps use the Options or Skin to show their alignment, KOTOR style.

I was wondering if I should change their skin colour cause they’re part of the “Tale of Two Rulers” zelgan comic where Ganondorf is normal. I didn’t know till it was too late TwT

No one draws attention to Hux’s pregnancy while he’s on the bridge, though it’s hopelessly obvious with the way his belly sticks out now. He’d discarded his old belt long ago, preferring a soft, cloth one that sits near his chest, allowing for less restriction on his middle. He’s given up hiding how far along he is, but after he threatened a lieutenant that touched his belly with reconditioning, the rest of the crew has widely left the subject alone, and now otherwise pretend they don’t notice Hux waddling from place to place, his belly jutting into their space when he peers over at their consoles.

Yet an expecting general isn’t the only part of the Finalizer’s daily shift that’s changed. Now that Hux is pregnant, Ren follows him almost everywhere he goes, and what’s more he’s starting to wear his helmet less and less. It’s an open secret among the Order that he’s the father of Hux’s litter, so perhaps that’s why he feels less of a need to hide his face. Or maybe he understands that Hux is comforted more by the sight of his alpha’s face than the indifferent facade of his helmet. And while he still appreciates the gesture, it comes with some unexpected side-effects.

Ren possesses an alluring, powerful scent, enough that he can incapacitate omegas and weaker alphas without even having to use the Force. He exudes dominance, and had done so even when he wore the mask, but now that he keeps his face bare among Hux’s crew, the general has noticed some of them taken a renewed interest in him. It’s made Hux realize that he isn’t the only one who appreciates Ren’s uneven yet charming looks, and the removal of the mask has thus brought on all kinds of irritating flirtation during the shifts when Ren makes his appearances.

Currently one of the petty officers, a chestnut-haired omega, is talking to the alpha near the port side of the viewport. Hux can tell Ren isn’t particularly interested in him, but he keeps tilting his head and smiling at him, edges of his mouth bunching his cheeks up. He has rosy dimples and an interested little glimmer in his blue eyes, and Hux can smell his agreeable scent from all the way across the bridge. He sourly wrinkles his nose, eyes narrowing at the other omega. Dallying as if there isn’t work to be done, trying to distract Ren, and for what? The alpha would never go for him. He has Hux, after all. The man pregnant with his damned children. He has no reason to entertain the flirtations of some random officer.

Hux sees Ren mumble something in response to the omega, and he chuckles loud enough for him to hear, as if Ren has discovered some heretofore untapped well of humor that tickled him just right. But Hux knows a faked laugh when he hears one, and he’s put up with just about enough eavesdropping for the shift, so he walks over to the pair with as smart and steady a pace as he can muster with his large belly.

“Kinall,” Hux snaps once he gets close, satisfied at the officer’s shocked jolt. “Are you quite finished dawdling? What you do in your leisure is your business, but you are still on shift.”

“General, I—”

“Master Ren doesn’t have time for such frivolous conversation,” Hux counters venomously. “He may be civil enough not to interrupt you but I am not. Return to your station.”

Kinall opens his mouth, looking sidelong at Ren in a foolish hope the alpha might defend him, before closing it. He limply salutes Hux and apologizes, finally retreating back to his console. Hux smirks at the dejected scent he picks up from the officer, but wipes it from his lips when he turns back to Ren.

“Come with me. I’ve something to say to you as well.”

Once inside Hux’s office the general turns and pins Ren against the door, his belly lessening the impact of it a bit, but he still leans in and nips the alpha at the angle of his jaw before looking him in the eyes.

“The next time another omega flirts that openly with you, they’ll learn what the ship looks like from the outside,” Hux growls, digging his fingers into Ren’s shoulders. “And you will be off lotion duty for a week.”

Ren puts on a mock hurt expression, though Hux knows he would truly mourn the loss of his favorite pregnancy related activity—apart from the sex, that is. But considering the motion of Ren’s hands on his aching belly tends to lead to the latter, it’s a threat the alpha should take seriously.

“Oh general. You’re carrying my pups, you know I only have eyes for you,” Kylo murmurs, obviously appreciating their sudden proximity as he slips an inviting thigh between Hux’s leg. He twitches, still trying to make his point, but perhaps getting up to a little fun is just the thing to quell his jealousy and ensure Ren knows which omega he belongs to.

“I suppose it’s fine that you only have one thing on your mind as long as it only ever involves me.”

“That officer is nothing compared to you. I was just barely resisting snapping his sycophantic neck.”

“I might’ve liked to see you do that…” Hux slides a little against Ren’s thigh, wedging his cock between it and the underside of his belly. “Then again, it’s tempting to defend my claim on you myself.”

He can already feel himself grow hard in his jodpurs, blood already aroused from his earlier jealousy.

“This has to be quick,” Hux says as he moves one of his hands to tangle in Ren’s hair, “It’s already difficult to be taken seriously whilst pregnant. I don’t need to spend the remainder of the shift with an ache in my hips and come down my legs.”

“Of course.” Ren grins, leaning into Hux’s touch, letting the omega approach him for a hungry kiss. “We can do whatever you’d like.”

Shadow Hunt: Ch 2. Acquiring the Pieces

The prince still couldn’t believe his friend was dead. Last night Clara was taken from this world by the hands of a psychopath who tore her apart. Ralnor was determined to stitch the clues together. After getting over his shock of the body, the Gerudo checked the main floor again. He saw Clara’s clothes that were kicked off in the corner. No sign of a struggle in the main floor, so she wasn’t forced out of her clothing. Searching her pockets revealed nothing, so Ralnor checked her purse. He was sure if of it before, but looking inside, he saw that all her rupees were still here. So that meant the intruder only wanted her life, not her riches. What intrigued Ralnor was a note inside.

Opening the letter, he saw Clara was given a doctor note, by one Doctor Kai Neighbour. A psychiatrist by the looks of it. It instructed that it was his legal opinion for Ralnor to spend time with Clara for her mental well being. “I’ll look into you later…”

Ralnor took a final look at Clara’s dead, fearful eyes before the investigators pulled a tarp over her body. He’d remember this. The prince would hold onto this feeling of needing revenge, and he’d let it burn the bastard that did this. Ralnor made a pray to the three goddesses that Clara’s soul had a better fate now then it did at the end of her life. Once finished, Ralnor took a sigh and looked to the lead investigator. “Any witnesses?”

The man shook his head. “No. At least none that any thought would be a murder. Walls are muffled. We did question a neighbour on what they thought was a scream, but they assumed it was a night terror. After the eclipse, there has been many cases of people with nightmares sprouting up.”

“So no one cared she was being killed.”

“My prince, they didn’t know…”

“Well, what’s your next objective?”

“Standard procedure. We ask around, we search the surrounding area, and we do our best to piece together any clues to find who did this. It’ll be difficult though, with how stretched we can be. I’m sorry, I wish there was more I could offer.”

“I see. Good hunting to you gentlemen then…”

Standard procedure. To Ralnor, he knew that they’d most likely place this case under a cabinet labeled unsolved within a week, maybe two if enough protest was given. It was awful that the handsomely rich only had their deaths looked into. The common wealth were often simply over looked as casualties that could, and would, be forgotten. The prince hated the system. For a long time, he was seeing corruption in the royal courts, with noblemen being able to abuse their power and twist the lives of others. Yet now, he saw it wasn’t any better down at the common level. Ralnor heard of monsters able to shift through the cracks of society and tear people to death, but this psycho… he supposed was just another type of monster. Able to sneak past through the low amount of guards spread through out Hyrule, and simply steal lives. Ralnor knew his parents and his older brother wanted to have a safe Hyrule, but even they couldn’t control all the corruption. Ralnor needed to do something. As the 2nd prince, he could be hidden from the public eye and help the people in his own way. Klinge’s words echoed in his mind.

‘The world is full of those who are uncaring, and will do anything to hurt you. You must do anything to ensure the future of the Gerudo, of Hyrule, and your family. In this uncaring world, you must be smarter than the rest, and willing to go to lengths others won’t to protect this land. No matter the cost.’

Ralnor needed eyes and ears to survey the darkest corners and listen in on the mouths of his enemies. The prince knew a good place to start. Taking his horse, the prince rode off to southern border. Scattered around Hyrule were many taverns and small villages. One in particular was stationed near the canyon of Gerudo Valley. Everyone minded their own business, and at this establishment, business was to be shared in secret.

Entering the tavern, Ralnor threw his hood over his head, not wanting to draw any unwanted attention. A blonde Gerudo might be mistaken for some urban Hylian if he was lucky. The counterman was slowly cleaning his counter when he caught a glimpse of Ralnor. “What are you here for?”

“I’m here to find people who can be loyal enough to keep secrets, as well as find the secrets of others.”

“Hmmm, anyone can be loyal with the right enough of money.”

“I can be persuasive.”

“Very well. Travel up to the 4th level. You can look around there.”

Ralnor did as recommended, going up the steps. On the 2nd floor was the rowdiest floor, with drinking, dancing, and dares going around. The 3rd floor men and women exchanged money in games of gambling, some arm wrestling. Around tables Ralnor spotted your average mercenaries. Men and Women who would do any job. However, they were too loud for his taste. Upon reaching the 4th floor, Ralnor found the atmosphere more to his tastes. People silently drank and smoked at tables, talking amongst themselves. The prince saw one woman shake the hand of a man and give him a bag of money before walking off. No one harassed her as she walked away. Trusting his instincts, Ralnor walked to a corner in the right corner of the room.

A group of men and women had there robes up, discussing how they’d make ends meet for the following months, when Ralnor approached them. “Greetings. I have a proposition for you all.”

The group looked towards the prince, carefully studying his character. One of the men spoke up first. “Perhaps you’d like to take a seat and then tell us?”

Ralnor knew that sitting down could compromise his defences, so he elected to stand. “No thank you. Are you a group who can find out secrets when no one else is willing to look?”

The group communicated through silent glances at one another. They felt a tinge of hope at having work, but they wisely kept that spark to themselves. “Yes. You’re talking about spy work?”

“I am. Can you deduce who I am?”

The man talking wasn’t sure if that was supposed to be a joke, it was fairly obvious. When he spoke, he said so in a whisper. “You’re Prince Ralnor.”

“That is correct.”

“So, why does a prince like yourself want to hire a group such as us?”

Ralnor threw a bag of golden rupees onto the table for them to look over. When one of them peeked inside, their eyes beamed, the excitement being singled to their comrades through looks once again. “I’m here because growing up I have seen enemies of my family make back stabs and elaborate plans against our lives. I have stomached it for years, but no more. If I have the power to bring an end to calamity, it is my right and duty to do so.” Ralnor opened his hand to silence one of them from speaking, as he was not yet finished. “That all said, the reason I am here is to hire individuals of precise skill as my personal agents. I need to extend my reach as there is only so far one man can go. This is my offer. Work for me, be loyal to only me, and you will never need to find work else where for the rest of your lives.”

The group shifted, their minds racing. This was their golden ticket; how often would an opportunity present itself like this ever again? Two of the group started to converse. “Carter, we should-”

“Quiet. No names. Not yet. We need to talk about-”

“What is there to talk about? The man is offering us a service that will make us rich beyond our dreams. Not to mention, the benefit of a patriotic duty.”

“My view points on who’s on the throne doesn’t matter. It shouldn’t to any of us…” He looked at the rupees, then back at the prince. “What are your rules?”

“Simple. You don’t get caught in your missions. You follow my orders to the letter. And you don’t disobey them, otherwise I will turn my generosity into a malice that will kill you.”

The group leader studied this young man. Prince Ralnor had an expression that didn’t waver. He could feel the aura off of the Gerudo, and using his third eye, he saw that Ralnor was a man with an intense darkness in his heart. He knew that he was the son of the Calamity in human form, the Great Ganondorf. The prince had been through many hardships of darkness, and all his word held true. “Very well Prince Ralnor. We accept your offer.” The man dropped his hood, and gave a light bow of his head, wanting to look Ralnor right in the eye. “I am Zanathos. My colleges and I are very skilled, I can assure you. What is the first task you wish of us?”

Ralnor was relieved that the business act of using these spies had gone over smoothly, so he wasted no time in revealing their assignment. Wasted time could get others killed right now. “Your first assignment will be different from what we will accomplish in the future. There’s been a killer who took the life of an associate of mine somewhere in Hyrule. I want you to gather any information you can that will lead to his capture and personal execution.”

Zanathos and his comrades nodded towards the prince. They were all professional enough to know the prince most likely meant a friend, but dared not bring it up. “Where and how did the murder take place my prince?”

“In Castle Town on the outskirts near one of the dried river beds. The victim was cut apart, her organs pinned to the walls, hung by her entrails, and her cat pulverized.” Ralnor watched in interest as one of the group tightened their fist at the mention of animal cruelty. “Whoever this was, they had an allure for pain in the victim and used a weapon that cut cleanly. I will be investigating with you. We don’t stop until we find this maniac.”

Ralnor stood up, and the rest of his newly acquired spies rose with him. “If you do locate him, let me know immediately.” With that, the prince was the first to leave.

Zanathos looked to his comrades, wanting to gauge their thoughts. “Well?”

Carter was counting the rupees in the bag. “This job will get us set for life if we perform well enough. I have no worries.”

Furihg, the women that spoke with Carter, seemed to be musing over the thoughts. “How do we know that the prince won’t simply arrest us for any illegal activity we do for him after this job is done?”

“Because Furihg, Prince Ralnor carries himself as man who has vision, as well as a man with integrity. We can trust his word.” Zanathos stood first in the group, placing a simple silver mask over his face. The rest joined their leader, getting ready to leave. “If we have faith in Master Ralnor, I’m sure that we will be rewarded for the rest of our lives.”

The rest of the group were confused by the term master, but they supposed it was somewhat appropriate. If they were going to work for Ralnor full time, master was most likely the term they’d use.

Kai was organizing his file folder of patients. Removing the papers belonging to Clara, the man paused, looking over her details. She was in his office only yesterday, her imprints on the pillows and cushions still there. News traveled quickly of her death, along with rumors of how truly barbaric it was.

Before the good doctor could dwell on his thought more, a knock came for him at the door. Putting down his profile on Clara, he opened it to be surprised by the presence of Ralnor. “Oh! Prince Ralnor. I wasn’t expecting your arrival.”

“Doctor Neighbour if I’m correct. First name Kai.”

“You are indeed correct. Is this about your sister? Would you like to book an appointment as well?”

“No. Perhaps it would be best if you took a seat. This is about Clara.” The way Ralnor presented his tone heavily, it gave a command to the psychologist. Kai was taken off guard, so sitting down came naturally as the next step. “I know she was here yesterday. You sent her to my quarters. Upon return to her home, she was slaughtered like an animal by some maniac.”

Ralnor watched the colour drain from Kai’s face. It was very convincing to the prince. The psychologist right hand trembled as he held it close to his chest with his left. “She… didn’t deserve such a fate. This world is too cruel.”

“Agreed. I’d like to ask you some questions.”

“Yes?”

“How long had Clara been a patient of yours?”

“Well, about eight months. She would come in to see me monthly.”

“Can you tell me why she came in to see you?”

“That would go against patient confidentiality.”

Ralnor narrowed his eyes down at the psychologist, and took a slow deep breath in. “She’s dead Doctor. Her body was gutted, cut into pieces, and left hung from her window. I’m trying to find a killer. So if patient confidentiality really means so much to you, I simply ask that tell me if you believe anyone would have wanted her dead.”

Kai shook his head, gripping the side of his couch. He seen enough dead bodies in the streets to get a clear picture of what might have happened to Clara. “No. She was sweet women. Her problems didn’t stem from other people wanting to hurt her.”

Ralnor didn’t think he was going to get any information he needed from the doctor. But it was a start. “Very well. If you change your mind, or find any information that could lead to a suspect, bring it to my attention.”

Kai watched as Ralnor carefully made his way out of his office. Placing both hands he ran them through his hair, wanting to calm down. Did Ralnor think that he killed Clara? This whole situation made him feel stressed. The councillor needed to blow off some steam.

Mr. Tucker was making his way home, having finished his wrestling lessons rather late into the night. Parents these days wanted their kids to be prepared for anything, especially in such trying times. Mr. Tucker was thinking to himself if he should organize another appointment, when he heard a dog whimpering around the corner in the alley next to him. Poor thing must haven’t eaten yet. Continuing his way towards his house, he threw his keys into the air, wanting to juggle them. On his fourth throw, he didn’t feel them land back into his hand. Curious, he looked up.

Sticking on the wall like a Skulltala was a man right above him in a black leather suit. Mr. Tucker couldn’t react in time as the figure jumped down, stabbing the key into his eye socket. The poor man gritted his teeth instead of screaming. The killer jumped down and quickly went behind his victim, covering his mouth so he couldn’t get a scream out. Mr. Tucker had the figure to fight back, but the element of surprise cost him. The killer took his sickle, slicing Mr. Tucker’s stomach clean open, spilling his cuts onto the floor. As Mr. Tucker tried to hold his guts in, his attacker took the key from his left eye, and used it to gauge out the right eye, leaving his victim blind.

Hunched over, the killer pushed Mr. Tucker over, quickly reaching in to pull out his intestines, when he heard a bark behind him. It was that hungry dog from before. The figure patted the guts, making a whining sound to the dog to approach. Dogs needed food after all. As the dog started to eat, the killer stole his victims’ eyes, caring little that the man was literally being eaten alive, even if he only had a few moments of life left.

Leaving the crime scene, the killer took note of someone getting a look at him from five blocks away, but they were far too long from him to do anything. Retreating into the sewers, the killer crawled his way on the ceiling to avoid the sewage water. It took about ten minutes, but they finally made it to their sanctuary. Going through the basement window, they placed their sickle on a rack, and carefully undressed from their leather suit. As soon as he was out of the suit, he stood upright like a man, feeling his naked body for any bruises. None that he could tell. The last thing he did for the night was take a shower, then prayed to a statue of a god. He had done well, but more work would need to be done to get back at those that hurt him. First he’d hurt them 10x over, only then they’d have the pleasure of dying.

Orisa Pradito (Born: 24th May 1995) talented as the fans of the famous Idol Group based in Indonesia, JKT48. It was an Idol Group which has many members which it’s look beautiful. JKT48 is the one of the Idol Group adapted from AKB48 in Japan. Now more glorious in Indonesia’s Music Arts. Some people elsewhere, actually are teenage/adult boys were like from this group. JKT48 is everyday perform in the special Theater which located in FX Sudirman, Jakarta. The Theater was located in 4th Floor in this Mall.

From the History of Like.

Since I was adept also capable using a Computer, especially in Internet Networking user. I have an idea of the Japanese Idol Group that more famous in the world. AKB48 or known as Akihabara-Fortyeight is the main National Idol Group from Japan that initiated by Yasushi Akimoto. AKB48 released in 10th December 2005, nowadays there’re beautiful girl being as the members of AKB48. AKB48 have a specific from the music and dancing arts.

New Generation.

I’m like AKB48 since 2009 ago. Within 2 years later like. In 2011, there’s something special that surprising me in the 48 Group Content. Indonesia’s 1st 48 Group was formed which under name JKT48. Yay, it’s rather surprised in this country because we have a Music Group which is like in Japan. It’s so very nice in the future. JKT48 is the Sister Group from AKB48 formed since 17 December 2011. Now JKT48 currently 5 years old stay afloat in the Indonesia’s Music Arts. Superb but also interesting, I’m interested in JKT48 everytime and everyday where to go.

Currently, JKT48 has 62 members or more in the Group. The General Manager was Melody, which also the member of JKT48. Some members are Ayana, Nabilah, Veranda, Kinal, Shania, and many more as I mentioned. JKT48 divided into 4 teams. There’re Team J which lead by Shania Junianatha or known as Shania/Shanju. Team K III (Originally Team K also already in AKB48) lead by Vienny. Team T was lead by Melody which is also the member in Team J and the Trainee. Each teams there’s a special performance in the Theater that show everytime except in Monday. Because this day was official holiday for all members which like in Sunday.

It’s being as a huge Group in this country. JKT48 achieved many achievements as 5 times winner of DahSyat Music Awards. JKT48 always perform every morning in the Music Show as DahSyat RCTI. JKT48 is the one of the Guest Star in the National Television Channel Birthday for the great excitement. From 2016, JKT48 perform in 23rd Anniversary of ANTV on March. On May they’re perform in 2nd Anniversary of Rajawali Televisi. Both in August, there’s 2 TV Channel Birthday that invite JKT48. Which is RCTI & SCTV. The older National TV Channel since the beginning of the National Television instead TVRI. The last year there’s Trans TV that growing the age in 15 years old which also invites JKT48. Also the first performance of the single, “Saikou ka Yo” which meanings extraordinary.

Here why I was interested in JKT48, because they are beautiful and experience in the artist. In the future, I wish I could have a couple from the JKT48 but not for now. Because there’s a special rules which under name “Golden Rules”. I’m sholud coupled with the member which is graduated or out from JKT48. Nowadays, all member JKT48 with me as a friends together from the social media.

Angeles City to bring aid to victims of 'Rolly' in Albay

ANGELES CITY, Nov. 10 (PIA) -- The city government will send aid to families in Albay province who were affected by typhoon “Rolly”.    At least 4,000 families in Barangays Alomon, Balangibang, and Kinale in Polangui town will benefit from the said relief packs worth PhP2 million.    Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr.’s Chief Adviser and Tactician Director IC Calaguas said the relief team will personally deliver the aid on November 20.   “Our very own City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) staff Maria Cielo Sarion, who is a native of Albay province, will lead our city government’s relief mission. She will be with the members of the CSWDO, Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, and City Engineer’s Office,” Calaguas said.    For his part, Lazatin said the city is always ready to help not just Angeleños, but other Filipinos who are in dire need as well.    “It is our duty to help other Filipinos, especially those who were victims of unexpected natural calamities, such as the citizens of Albay who were recently ravaged by typhoon Rolly,” he said.   The local chief executive also called on the public to do the same by donating their pre-loved items, as well as food and non-food items or monetary assistance to aid the victims and survivors of the said typhoon.    Meanwhile, on behalf of the people of Albay, Sarion thanked the city government in advance for its assistance to Bicolanos. CANTLON: BRUINS BEAT PACK 6-3 WIN DIVISION TITLE

BY: Gerry Cantlon, Howlings MARLBOROUGH, MA - Providence scored six goals over the second half of the hockey game and defeated the Hartford Wolf Pack 6-3, and captured their second consecutive Atlantic Division title Thursday afternoon The Wolf Pack closed out the abbreviated AHL 24 game regular season with a record of 16-9-1-0 for 29 points, and Providence concluded the year with a 15-6-2-2 record for 34 points. Just before the game the Wolf Pack lost two-thirds of their top line in Justin Richards and Tim Gettinger and top forward Jonny Brodzinski because of injuries and suspensions. So, head coach Kris Knoblauch had to creates several new line combinations for their all-important regular season finale. The Wolf had built a 2-0 lead nearly halfway through the second period before the Bruins rallied on Hartford. The Wolf Pack in the first period as defenseman Zach Giuttari took a pass from Anthony Greco launched a shot at the net that was blocked in front. Still, the puck went right to Patrick Khordorenko, who whistled a hard wrist shot from 30 feet out that sailed over Bruin’s goalie Dan Vladar blocker pad and into the back of the net at 13:49 for his fourth goal of the season. The Wolf Pack had solid chances in the first period Mason Geersten early in the period and Ty Ronning had three quality chances early, a powerplay bid midway through the period and late in the period that Dan Vladar denied each one. Ryan Dmowski (Old Lyme/Gunnery prep) is playing just his fifth game of the year, and first, since his birthday was denied with 2:55 left in the first. Adam Huska did his best in stopping all shots he faced, including Robert Lantosi twice, Urho Vaakanainen, and Jack Studnicka. Tim Gettinger with 19 (9-10) and Ty Ronning with 10 goals and 18 points in 18 games were the Wolf Pack’s top three scorers. Tarmo Reunanen also on recall finished with 17 points currently sixth among AHL rearguards and was just outside the Top 20 field among overall rookie scorers. Goalie Adam Huska dropped out of the top 10 goalies list, He played 13 games with 734:38 in net with a record of 9-4-0-1 a 2.70 GAA and a .890 save percentage. Ex-Pack in the Top 10 of AHL scoring Danny O’ Rega is sixth and has 30 points in 33 games leading the expansion Henderson Silver Knights in scoring, Adam Cracknell of Bakersfield is in a five-way tie at 29 points. Trevor Zegras (Avon Old Farms) is 7th with 21 points on 10 goals and 11 assists and is on recall to Anaheim. Former Ranger Cody MacLeod of the Iowa Wild leads the AHL with 91 PM in 28 games and is currently serving a two-game suspension. Ex-Pack Vinni Lettieri of the San Diego Gulls second in game-winning goals in the AHL with five. Lias Andersson of the Ontario Reign is tops with three shorthanded goals. NOTES: -As expected, the AHL Board of Governors (BOG) in a conference Zoom call approved Vancouver’s relocation of its AHL team to Abbotsford, BC starting in the fall, and New Jersey relocates Binghamton to Utica and will play as the Utica Comets in October at the Adirondack Bank Center not as the Devils as expected. Utica announced a new 10-year agreement with New Jersey and planned to open their season on October 17th, marking the 34-year anniversary of the first time AHL hockey was played in Utica. According to Abby News, the Vancouver Canucks have entered into an agreement in principle on a five-year agreement to run the Abbotsford Centre. They will be paid a $750K-C to run the building, with the city be responsible for capital maintenance and repair costs. The first AHL Abbotsford team, the Heat affiliated with Calgary, had a supply fee deal and, after five years, was paid by the city $5.5. million to exit the deal halfway through. Expect Binghamton to play in either the ECHL, FPHL or go dormant in the fall. -The league did not deal with the potential of the name and logo change in Bridgeport to become the Bridgeport Islanders. They may drop the Sound Tigers name and logo as their original 20-year lease and marketing setup expires; that was done by the late owner Roy Boe. Boe purchased the dormant Beast of New Haven franchise 30 days after it was mothballed, paying the Carolina Hurricanes the 2 million dollar franchise fee they required. He also signed a 20- year 20 million dollar lease in which he reneged on. Then was forced to turn the franchise over to the late Islanders owner Charles Wang instead of the non-compliance with non-payment of his required affiliation fee and numerous commercial debts with local vendors and sponsors plus employees that had accumulated in the first three years of ownership. The franchise values are now between $10-$12 million dollars. No news on a new lease arrangement at the Webster Bank Arena now run by OVG, but the team will likely stay there and a new deal will more than likely be announced sometime later this summer. -UCONN men's hockey head coach Mike Cavanaugh announced the team captains for the 2021-22 season. Seniors Carter Turnbull (Nanaimo, British Columbia) and Jachym Kondelik (Budejovice, Czech Republic) have been elected the team's captains for the upcoming season. At the same time, classmates Marc Gatcomb (Woburn, Mass.) and junior Roman Kinal (Waterford, Mich.) will be alternate captains. “I am so honored to have been chosen as Captain this year by my teammates. I believe this is the best group of talented guys we have had yet, and I am excited for the opportunity to lead this team to a championship this year,” said Turnbull in a press release. This will be the second consecutive season the Turnbull will wear a letter on his jersey for the Huskies.  The senior served as an alternate captain in 2020-21.  Turnbull played in all 23 games last season and was second on the team with nine goals.  He finished the season with 13 points (9g/4a) and generated a team-best 95 shots.  During his three seasons in Storrs, he appeared in 86 games with 23 goals and 21 assists on the ledger. Jachym Kondelik expressed his gratitude for the announcement. “I think being named a captain is a huge responsibility and an honor, especially because it is something that is being chosen by my teammates and coaches.  I think we have a great group and that everyone on this team will be a leader in certain ways.” Kondelik, the big 6-5 forward, is UConn’s top-returning career scoring leader, having piled up 71 points in 91 career games as a Husky.  He has scored 16 career goals with 55 assists and is a +7 over his three seasons.  This past year Kondelik was second on the team in scoring with 22 points coming on four goals and a team-best 18 assists in 23 games, and after the season, he was named to a Hockey East Third Team All-Star. Marc Gatcomb, a versatile big forward, will be a big part of the leadership quartet for a full college hockey season next season. “I am honored my coaches and teammates have given me the opportunity to represent the University of Connecticut at this high standard. I’m grateful to be alongside three great leaders and excited to get things started this fall.” Gatcomb, like Turnbull, took the ice for all 23 games this past season, finishing the year fifth on the team in scoring with 12 points, posting six goals and six assists.  Over his three seasons, Gatcomb has played 88 games and has 25 points on 14 goals and 11 assists. Roman Kinal, who has battled through injuries twice in his collegiate career at UCONN, seems a perfect fit to have a letter on the left side of his jersey. “It’s a huge honor to be chosen as one of the captains by the coaching staff and my teammates. With a team full of leaders, we have something extremely special here at UConn. I’m looking forward to getting back on campus to compete for a national championship.” After being forced to miss all of the 2019-20 season due to an injury, Kinal made his return to the Huskies defensive unit this year and finished with six points (1g/5a) in 16 games and was a +6 for the season.  His lone goal on the season provided the game-winner in a 2-1 win on the road at New Hampshire.  He has played in 50 games in two seasons with 13 career points (2g/11a) and 49 blocked shots. -In other state college hockey news, long-time Quinnipiac assistant coach for the last 13 years Bill Riga was named the new head coach of the Holy Cross Crusaders (AHA). Former head coach David Berard stepped down in April and was named the associate athletic director for men’s and women’s hockey at Providence College (HE) on Monday. Berard, a Rhode Island native, is a PC alum academically and athletically was a UCONN assistant in 2012-13 during their AHA years under the late. A year before, Mike Cavanaugh was hired. Berard’s son Brett plays at Providence College and is a NY Rangers draft pick. His other son Brady plays for the US National U-17 Team is a PC commit for 2022-23. -Quinnipiac will play host to a long-time national collegiate powerhouse, North Dakota, on October 22-23 at the People United Center. -Junior goalie Strauss Mann (Greenwich/Brunswick School) is forgoing his last year at Michigan (Big 10) and going pro to a yet unnamed team. That makes 69 players from Division I to sign North American pro deals and a total of 74 players Division I and III to sign. -Scott Morrow (Darien) de-commits from North Dakota (NCHC) and graduates from the Shattuck’s St. Mary’s Sabres (MNPREP) and will be at the newly crowned national champions UMASS-Amherst (HE) in the fall. The right-handed shot is expecting to go in the first two rounds of this summer’s NHL Draft. -Three more college transfers, two school transfers in Griffin Loughran from Northern Michigan (WCHA) to Michigan St. (Big 10) and Trevor Zins from St. Cloud St. (NCHC) to the brand-new Division I program, St. Thomas (MN) University (CCHA). Then a grad transfer Sam Sternschein heads from Penn State (Big 10) to Boston College (HE).  He is the fourth grad transfer for the Eagles. That makes 56 school transfers and 45 grad transfers. -Bad news for the University Alabama-Huntsville, who fought off program elimination last year with the help of its most famous graduate, ex-Pack/CT Whale, goalie Cam Talbot had their conference application to the new CCHA conference turned down. So, now they are waiting to hear about their AHA conference application. In the meantime, the program is shutting down till they find out their conference status. -Ex-Pack Marek Mazanec makes it official and switches Czech Republic teams leaving HK Hradec Kralove heads to HC Ocelari Trinec (Czech Republic-CEL). -Former Sound Tiger David Ullstrom, who played for three Swiss League teams this year, EHC Biel/Bienne (NLA), HC La-Chaux-de-Fonds (LNB), and HC Davos (LNA), is close to returning to his native Sweden and signing with HV71 (Sweden-SHL). -Another ex-Sound Tiger Jamie Fraser was talked out of retirement and signed another one-year deal with ESV Villacher SV (Austria-IceHL) and will again be the team captain. -Ex-Sound Tiger Olivier Labelle switches teams in France from GHC Bordeaux in the French Elite Magnus League to HC Mulhouse next season. -Ben Smith, (Avon/Westminster Prep) is going from Adler Mannheim (Germany-DEL) to EHC Munich (Germany-DEL) next season.
