How would you write cat noises/sounds? I’m curious!

i've never read that being written about before- interesting..

here's some ways to spell cat noises lol;

. meow

. miaow

. miau

. meaw

i don't know if you mean for how i would write it or how i think you should write it but i'm going to try to write a quick drabble of how i would do it :)

to be honest i've never written cat noises/sounds before so sorry if it seems cringy but i'll try to do what i would write if i was to do a fic with cat noises/sounds.

some days you just hold your cat to your chest and stay in bed because moving sounds like a bit too much effort. the sun was shining brightly and there were no signs of clouds in the sky.

you watched as kids ran off with each other, and how the traffic gradually got worse as people rushed to their destinations. basically everything giving you a big 'wake tf up!!!' sign.

you sighed and gently placed your cat off your chest and onto your desk as you got up and walked to the bathroom to get ready. your cat followed you, curious as usual as to where you were going even though you did this almost everyday.

you look at yourself in the mirror, you can clearly see the eyebags under your eyes. shit.

after you washed and dried your face you grabbed your toothbrush to brush your teeth, when you felt something fluffy lean against your legs, your cat. you smiled down at it and leaned down to pick your cat up and cuddle up to it while you brushed your teeth.

"miau" your cat meowed in response and cuddled up to you even more, occasionally getting up to lick your chin.

note: okay i kinda went a bit too overboard-
