listen, i've been shipping those two since like, 2016. i fully respect people who aren't into the ship but i am NOT getting out of this chair.

like. listen man. the intro of Kirby's Adventure describing them as friends used to be all i had to go off vis-a-vis their relationship in canon. and even then, that tidbit was removed in the remake, so its canonicity is arguable.

but now there's like, the entirety of KF2's story mode. delicious.

anyways my interpretation of their relationship is like. childhood friends -> Meta chooses to leave Dream Land for training, Dedede proclaims himself king while he's gone -> they reconnect shortly before the events of Adventure. they've both changed, and while MK is willing to work with Dedede... yeah he doesn't agree with his ideas at all, hence why he was willing to help out Kirby in his own way. -> Revenge of Meta Knight happens. Dedede is outraged by this betrayal, and banishes Meta Knight from Dream Land. -> some point after K64, MK returns, and tries to ask for a pardon. Dedede's VERY much upset by this, not helped by the fact that Meta did this by going RIGHT through the window, scaring the shit out of him. -> slowly but surely, they become friends again. it's definitely more prickly of a friendship than it used to be, but they respect each other, yknow? -> eventually. gay people.

I can't lie. DDT has been the main wrestling promotion I cared about for the last few months, and Tetsuya Endo has been one of my favorites(I personally believe he was one of their best). So Endo leaving for Noah has bummed me tf out☹️, but if this means he gets more opportunities and gets where he wants to be, then I'm happy for him. But definitely, I'll miss him in DDT.

I feel like wrestling keeps breaking my heart in very specific ways lately😭. This one really fuckin hurts.
