summary: you feel some sort of strange tension between you and your girlfriend’s old friend.

walking down the street, ryujin heard someone following her from behind. however, that person can have the same way to walk, right? but the feeling of being followed sent shivers through her spine, making her quiver.

the further she went, the worse feeling got. already wanting to look back and stop, but someone put their hand on her shoulder.

“oh my fucking-“

“ryujinnie, it’s me, haesoon! do you remember high school?” ryujin immediately turned around to face with familiar girl, according to her, from high school. “oh… oh yeah, i remember you. god, you scared me.” ryujin said, as haesoon took her hand in hers, already leading older girl somewhere.

“ryuddaeng, i have a lot to talk with you!” haesoon started rattling about her life after graduation and how she missed ryujin all those years, as she lead ryujin in some kind of cafe.

“okay, it’s getting late already and i should really go back and-“

“ryusoongie, wanna meet at the same place again? tomorrow or…” haesoon started to get carried away, as ryujin had to stop her. “uh, yeah, okay, tomorrow at the same place. bye, haesoon!” ryujin finally left, rushing back to her house.

when ryujin entered a cafe with you, your hands with ryujin’s are intertwined, haesoon squeezed her hands.

“hi, ryujinnie. and this is…” haesoon asked with visible irritation. “it’s y/n, she’s my girlfriend!” ryujin answered, getting furious look from her old friend. and if ryujin didn’t noticed that, you saw that for sure.

as the meeting went along, the more tension between you and haesoon you felt. she would glare at you, and you were okay with that, but her offensive words wouldn’t just slip away from you.

“your girlfriend? i thought you had a different taste back in the high school, someone, who is better than her.”

“y/n, you say? i remember you had a girlfriend with familiar name that you broke up after a week of dating.”

“i remember your ideal girlfriend type back in high school. how did it changed that much?”

you ignored it all, not wanting to cause a problem. and it worked, until you three went out of cafe.

walking down the street, uncomfortable silence was evident, but haesoon started talking again. “ryujin, why your girlfriend won’t talk to me? did i do something wrong?” her old friend said, as you felt ryujin squeeze your hand. “y/n not a talkative person, you two just met today.” ryujin answered, receiving a pout from haesoon. “y/n, you don’t like me?” haesoon asked, but you ignored her.

“i’m talking to you, bitch.” haesoon suddenly pulls your hair to get your attention, immediately receiving it.

quickly standing with a wide leg distance, you struck upward into haesoon’s face. “oh my- y/n!” ryujin quickly pulled you away from haesoon as she covered her face with her hands. “well, maybe i am a bitch, but who are you to insult me in front of everyone?” you hissed, as haesoon kneeled down, feeling dizzy.

“you slut, i should have been ryujin’s girlfriend instead! not you, you’re not even her type!” haesoon shouted, standing up from the ground. “well, i know her type changed a lot since your fucking high school, asshole. try me, come on!” you replied, as ryujin tried to pull you away.

seeing haesoon coming to you, you attack first, or so she thought. mixing fake attacks with real attacks, you made haesoon unable to predict whether you'll follow through with your moves.

“can’t reach me, haesoon?” you said, before slapping her face, and wanting to punch her in stomach, but ryujin grabbed your hands. “y/n, enough!”

you huffed, as haesoon was grabbing her face, almost crying. “yet, y/n is right, haesoon. i didn’t expected such attitude from you towards my girlfriend. i will make sure you’re not gonna be able to get close to us.” ryujin said before you two walked away, hearing haesoon shouting something behind you.

“are you okay? you didn’t hurt yourself?” ryujin asked, as you reached up and gently held her face. “i’m okay, ryu. let’s just go home already.”

WELL 😭😭😭 no sorry and i'm so sorry i didn't answer this in 2024 flkjslfja you sent it the day before i traveled for the holidays and then i was like deep in family time for a full week (after having the flu for a week and a half lol)
