I'm not good at writing, I never was but. I've been quiet about it but that's because I've never dove deep into the roosterteeth controversy mainly because it was just painful to find out what it has become in these recent years. I've known about the Ryan haywood allegations and the layoffs and Burnie leaving the company etc etc. Its insane to think that this small company I grew to love dearly, with red vs blue being my first introduction to them, a show still dear in my heart. I even remember witnessing RWBY in its infancy, watching the first red trailer eagerly waiting for the rest and later the first season. It had its hiccups with its writing and voice acting but man it had so much heart and passion I couldn't help but love it so so much. After the creators passing I was devastated but hopeful to see the show continue on but in hindsight, I think it should have been left as it was or at least been managed with much more tender loving care.

I consumed so much RT stuff, I listended to their podcasts, watched achievement hunter, RT animated and 10 little roosters just to name a few. I drew so much fanart and even wished to be able to work for them even. To see this company becoming your run of the mill corporate husk, machinima 2.0 with a dash of channel awesome would have shocked me as a dumb teen.

I know I'm late to the party lol but uh, I've been carrying this with me for a while and been wanting to get this off my chest, it feels nice to share publicly once in a while n stuff. I'm not well known at all so my opinion on this isn't really that important in the grand scheme of things but, it feels important to me.

I haven't posted art in a while, I've been in a huge art rut for months, almost a year so Idk if I'll ever come out of it. But I'll see if I manage to pick up the pen again or something.

This is an archive of my favorite Fake AH posts since I can't let it go apparently. I've been an AH fan since it was created. I've been here since the beginning and apparently when you spend half your life enjoying something, you can't let it go.

RE: The Ryan Haywood situation:

It's been five years since his actions have come to light. I make no apologies. My hurt and betrayal over his actions are still very prevalent. That being said - he was my favorite member of Achievement Hunter and he was a vital part of the cast for almost a decade. It's hard to let that go.

I've been rewatching AH's older stuff and I still love it. Hearing Ryan's voice doesn't hurt me like it used to. Seeing his face, on the other hand, it's a 50/50 on whether or not I can handle it.

I'm not rewatching their stuff thinking "oh maybe we were all wrong about the fucking Haywood situation." I'm thinking "goddamn I wish this was the world I was still living in. I wish he was a better person. I wish he didn't let us all down."

I have a lot of thoughts about why he did what he did, but this isn't exactly the place I'm building. I'm here to reminisce about the good times.

To be frank, I miss the Fake AH Crew. I miss reading fics and seeing fanart about Los Santos and all that came with it. It was such a delightful playground of creativity and I want to remember that.

R*an was not Achievement Hunter he was a part of it. It is okay to still like Achievement Hunter. It is okay to still be in the community. It is okay to still like their content. Everything is okay. This is not our burden. You can still enjoy the content you've grown to love. It is alright. Everything will be alright.
