Ren, their resident tracker who is already suspicious from that destroyed village that something is following them, wants to know HOW Qrow got here. Jaune, always focused on the safety of his friends, and even more so after the trauma fest of Beacon, wants to know WHY Ruby

And Ruby, ever the protagonist, is thinking more big picture of WHAT the hell is really going on that Qrow and her father clearly didn’t want to tell her
