I restarted the family I've been working on, and after getting reshade I don't want to edit the pics I took ahead of having it lmao but anyway, for anyone who cares:

Katelyn and Lance Van Blair, two young horse lovers who grew up together doing various competitions, and ended up married and living on a modest 2br ranch

They own/breed Collies (because they're the best breed ever and don't let my boyfriend tell you otherwise) and Hanoverians; Meadow is Katie's horse, Trojan is Lance's

They also have a cat named Ixi, who is a pain in my ass, not theirs

Without children of their own, they've welcomed several foster children into their tiny house, with several being reunited or adopted, except for one: a toddler named Meredith

Meredith ends up being adopted by K&L (spoilers, but it's literally the next thing I'm going to post); I just feel like it's abrupt to post it without explaining that there was a backstory(?)

Both Katie and Lance aspire to be champion riders/farmers/horse breeders; both of their horses have the Champion Horse trait (which took me forever and I'm very proud)

I think that's it? not that anyone truly cares, but I think I'm going to actually play it legacy style (though slowly), not frozen in time as I would in TS3
