three items fell onto his windowsill, which he quickly kept from tumbling anywhere else. his eyes were immediately drawn to the small folded piece of green-blue paper, and the delicate, twisting flower it was curled around. he smiled, brushing a gloved hand over the white and yellow petals, but swiftly moved towards the folded paper. what if it was something important?

tighnari carefully folded the note again, tucking it into his nightstand. he’d love to preserve the flower for longer… but he settled for putting it on his desk, instead, to be pressed into a bookmark later.

he sat at the same desk, pulling over his schedule. perhaps he could clear up some time, spend more time out in the plains of the forest, beyond where the trees could block his view of the sky.

i feel like im stating the obvious but sam saying this makes me believe that he WANTED TO be picked and chosen for whatever messiah project they were cooking at the institute...it explains why he's so keen on getting into the institute despite the warnings like maybe hes not unaware/ignoring them maybe hes fully aware and just doesnt care ! he wnated to be a part of what the institute was doing!!! thats why he ignores all warnings !! (except him being like very young when this was happening makes me think that maybe he doesnt know what they were actually doing so hes probably going off of a very idealized version of rvents but whatever

The Princess of Wales and the Royal Foundation of Early Childhood hosted Shaping Us National Symposium at The Design Museum in London.

The event brought together cross-disciplinary leaders, child and adult specialists, and global thinkers for the first time to consider how we grow, think, and behave throughout life, in order to build resilience for the future.

The symposium began with a keynote speech, delivered by The Princess of Wales. The rvent was hosted by mental health and well-being advocate and Shaping Us Champion Fearne Cotton.

It also featured talks from a range of thought leaders to outline the scientific, economic and human cases for prioritising early childhood, and our social and emotional development, including - Professor Jack Shonkoff, Sara Rajeswaran and Professor Robert Waldinger among others.
