Despite everything, here is the first drawing I've made of my own rvb pkmn au lol. Of course it had to be caboose

This all started bc my friend wanted me to draw caboose with a quagsire so I didn't pick that one!!

Next up. Bibarel. Because they look so round and silly. Also because I think Caboose's first pokemon would be a bidoof. There's lots of them and they're cute I imagine it was like when a cat follows u around a lot except you can keep this cat as a forever pet and also it's a fat rat

Metang is a big steel pkmn which still manages to have a baby face while it has spikes in its hands. Fits Caboose imho

Joltik!! Tiny. Eats electricity. Very fuzzy. He probably found it causing trouble but he was like aw look at this tiny friend!! Feed him a battery or something!!!

Bewear. Do I have to explain? Look at her she's so cute and big and probably also soft!!! Can and will crush you though

Genesect. Demigod robot pokemon of course caboose would manage to befriend this. They're basically freckles in the pokeworld !!! That's what I went with anyways lol

I’m in a pokemon mood lately and now I can’t stop trying to figure out my kiddos in the pokemon world and who they would have on their teams.

I remembered the idea I had for an RVB Pokemon AU; the AI Fragments are little Rotom variations! They all begin as Electric-Ghost, but would be able to Evolve into different forms depending on certain specifications (Friendship, holding items during a Trade, special Stones, etc). Each one would have maybe 3 potential next stages, and each of those would be able to Evolve a final time, gaining new Types as they go (one of Epsilon’s forms would be the floating orb for sure, and Sigma obviously gains the Fire Type). First row from the left; Alpha, Beta, Delta, Theta, Sigma. Row two from the left; Epsilon, Gamma, Omega, Eta and Iota. The whole idea is that the Director would go the route of trying to clone Mewtwo in an effort to bring back Allison, but also in the process, he creates a new kind of Rotom, which then creates a bunch MORE Rotom. I wanted to make them look a bit more like lightbulbs, to play with the BRIGHT IDEA metaphore

Fandoms: Current mains are RWBY, Dungeons&Daddies, TAZ: Graduation, working my way through NADDPOD, always reading My Hero Academia, always into Pokemon, Red vs Blue is kind of a side dish now but still in my heart, and I’ll always reblog a good Danny Phantom post. 

Where you post: AO3 and tumblr. I have a twitter and an instagram that I attempt to use sometimes, but I just don’t feel comfortable there. 

Most Popular One-shot: I guess  Flying, falling, stand your ground for RWBY has the most kudos of my one-shots. 

Most Popular Multichap: As much as I want it to be  Mind over Matter (RvB), I just discovered that the stats on Heroes Under Drinking Age: Alpha (Danny Phantom/RC9GN) kinda knocks it out of the park. 

Favorite story you’ve written so far:  Mind over Matter (RvB). I poured my heart into that thing and discovered so much about how I write an had such a good time doing it and it’s actually done. 

Fic you were nervous to post: all of them, I am a naturally nervous being

How do you choose your titles: They come to me as the wind delivers a leaf which happens to land close to your shoe, and then you decide it looks cool and maybe you’ll take up leaf pressing to keep it. Or really I just think about the theme and main focus on it and then either pick a phrase from the fic itself or make one that’s practically a summary. 

Do you outline: Long fics yes, one-shots no. The outline is constantly shifting, though, and is mostly there as a motivator. 

Complete: 16, most of them one shots, and one of them kid of cheating because it’s HUDA: Alpha, and HUDA: Alpha is technically supposed to be a part 1. 

In progress: 3 on ff.net and all of them are either abandoned or HUDA, which I hope to one day get around to finishing. There is so much more for that story in my head than ever made it to words. 

Coming soon/not yet started: A one-shot concurrent to Mind over Matter from Carolina’s PoV, and then maybe, one day, if I feel it in my heart and have the time and the yolos to give, a sequel that would also function as an AU for s13 that focuses on really uniting Blue Team. 

Prompts?: write about a character who’s going through or has gone through something really hard getting affirmation about how, regardless of how well they did, they made it through 

Upcoming work you’re most excited about: Championed, my freaking ocs, danggit, I will scratch those slippery hooligans into existence if it’s the last thing I freaking do I can’t believe I’m starting chapter 1 over again can you believe me I never put enough thought into background and culture design what was I thinking this will be so much easier when I have this worked out in advance and all this time I just keep wasting--

OH, I want to write something TAZ: Graduation. I love writing descriptions of what it might feel like to use magic (or other things that people don’t experience in real life like fusing a computer with your brain) and Fitz is like candy for these ideas as someone who hasn’t always been able to use magic and who has friends who’s interactions with magic are very different (one with racial magic, the other with it connected to his culture) and who’s own magic is something unlike anything his world has fully encountered

BLUE TEAM LETS GOOOOOO!! Starting off with fan-favorite Caboose (who is also my favorite:3)

i wanted to give him silly pokemon, but Golurk and Magikarp have special stories.

Golurk in this au is Freckles! I imagine that Caboose was wandering around some ancient landmark when he stumbles across an injured Golurk. After patching it up, the Golurk becomes loyal to him! (heavily based off the pokedex entries hehe)

As for Magikarp, i just think it would be funny that caboose would have a “useless” pokemon and everyone makes fun of him for it. One day during a battle, his Magikarp is his only pokemon so he sends it out, and everyone thinks “it’s so over” when it evolves into Gyarados and decks the other trainer.

Writing Questions

Q: When did you start writing and what was your first fic? A: I think I started in late 2013-early 2014. My first fics were all Teen Titans related, and I think my first fic was a Monster AU for TT... It was very bad and posted on FFN, as were all my earliest fics/most of my Teen Titans stuff. Don't go looking for it, it sucks.

Q: What are your favorite fics that you've written so far? A: This is always subject to change as I continue writing, but my favorite long-term projects are "Aerospace Accident" for Villainous, "Paranoid Android" for Sanders Sides, and "Ground for Divorce" for Nomad of Nowhere, all of which are on hiatus, while my "Kid! Scout AU" is also a big favorite and still being worked on atm. As far as one-shots/completed works go, "Jeremy" for TF2, "Lost at Sea" and "Fish Food" for Fallout 4, "The Fallen Hunter's Lament" for Destiny, and "You'll be Fine" for RvB. I've got a lot of fics, y'all.

Q: Are you working on any original stories? A: Yes, I am! I have a few stories I’m working on atm, but they’re all very much still in progress. The two stories that I’ve made the most plans for are called “Balthazar the Almighty” and “Coming of a New Age”, though I’m not sure which will be finished first. Q: Can I message you if I’m suicidal/looking for guidance? A: I mean, if you want to, you can, but in all honesty most of my advice boils down to “You should really see a professional/get help from the authorities”, and most folk don’t seem to like that, so it’s up to you. I’m also a bit of a mess, especially with the quarantine going on, so I would recommend looking elsewhere for help. Sorry, I’m just not a great therapist.

Q: Can minors follow your blog? A: Sure! I don’t really post anything inappropriate, save for some rather lewd jokes, but nothing too raunchy. But be warned, I’m twenty-one.

RVB POKEMON AU except most of them dont have “battle teams” since most adults in the pokemon universe dont

RED TEAM

Grif: lv.31 Tropius, fruity king. Has a really close bond with his pokemon, and was never really interested in being a trainer.

Simmons: Has a full well-rounded team, and multiple in boxes he constantly switches out to give attention to. Ex-Pokémon trainer, and beat the gyms of his region, but stopped there. Main team… probably lv.70 Lucario, lv.80 Hydreigon, lv.77 Volcarona, lv.90 Sylveon, lv.80 Arcanine, lv.71 Gallade.

Sarge: lv.50 Red Garyados. Picky trainer that started later in life, and a picky pokemon to match. I think he caught him as a garyados after some anime-esque bonding scenario, but beforehand Sarge wasn’t much interested in having a pokemon of his own?

Donut: Pokemon coordinator, with a few battle pokemon! All of red team has the closest bonds to their pokemon, but Donut definitely makes it the most apparent! Donut will usually coordinate with his lv.30 Ninetales or lv.15 Jumpluff, and battles with his lv.45 Scolipede or lv.47 Luxray.

BLUE TEAM

Church: No pokemon, but a wild Shedinja seems to follow him around a lot! Tucker ends up catching the Shedinja before they leave the gulch for good.

Tucker: He wasnt interested in pokemon as a kid, but caught the Shedinja that used to follow church around. They bond over the weirdness thats epsilon.

Caboose: Ex-Trainer! He only has his base team, and has poured a LOT of love into training them! He definitely spoils them. A suprising ammount of his pokemon are… “stolen” from bad situations. lv.50 Shiny Galvantula, lv.65 Silvally, lv.75 Deoxys dont ask how…, lv.60 Cofagrigus, lv.55 Cacturne, and a lv.60 Arcanine that has playdates with Simmons’.

Kai: lv.30 plusle and minun! Not a trainer or coordinator, but loves her pokemon!

Misc and Freelancers in another post im sleepy… if someone wants to show me their pokemon headcanons please give em!

Simmons having the “strongest team” even amongst some freelancers (will write later) is really important to his characterization to me? He doesnt talk about the fact that he was an Extremely Successful pokemon trainer much at all, and his pokemon usually only battle eachother (or have private battles with caboose’s) so no ones really shown how strong his pokemon and his bonds with his pokemon are! Just kind of like how he’s always walked all over and stepped on. He definitely bonds with Donut since he has one of the “weakest” pokemon in the gulch, level wise.

Church (and temporarily Tucker) never having pokemon is also really important to me!! Something something trauma and subjugation, but I also like the connection of alpha!church dying, and leaving behind two best friends who only bond after his death- Tucker, and the Shedinja. Especially since Tucker and Church’s friendship gets glossed over so often.

Most people dont know Caboose has a Deoxys, even the reds and blues dont find out till a LONG time. Deoxys does love to battle, but hates people knowing it exists as it considers that dangerous, so for the longest time only Caboose and Simmons knew. The people “in the know” expand over the seasons through accidents or big dramatic happenstances. Usually the “bad guys” only find out right before they see the red n blue alien hyperbeam their brains into dust.
