#ruxxedit#ruxx#rux rusu#ruxx jo#raluca aprodu#ilinca harnut#ruxx 1x07#jo x rux#femslash related stuff#so when this started I remember grumping to my friend that a couple of times in the first eps they mentioned LGBT topics#but of course both the leads were straight#I kept watching because rux was just SO hot lol and it was still interesting right#to see a female-led show from a country I hadn't watched anything from before (romania)#even though they suspiciously didn't show rux's partner or refer to them by name an article I'd read said it was her boyfriend#but then they KEPT on focusing on LGBT issues and rux seemed to feel so personally about them#I absolutely wouldn't recommend the show to most people following me for f/f because yeah this is her partner#who shows up in the 7th ep and who we find out about at the end of like...I dunno ep 4 or 5#but MOST of the show is rux meeting and falling for a guy and eventually cheating with him#but during this longer scene and at other times the show puts such effort in highlighting the homophobia these two face#again I remember telling my friend it would be so harsh and going against its own narrative to be like yeah the homophobia won#and once jo does show up rux genuinely does seem back all-in with her#she does tell her about the other guy before the end and they do stay together#I probably wouldn't have started if I'd known the premise but I'm not sorry I watched#it's still one of romania's first forays into LGBT rep and a bi lead is something#and once we do get these two together there are a lot of good scenes like this one
