I just joined Tumblr and have really no experience with it, and wanted to ask someone how exactly I should try to seek out and find people that want roleplays that have no smut?

Roleplays with No Smut are easy to find. More than 75-80% of Roleplayers on Tumblr are here just to RP, Smut for them is merely an option, not the main focus. (However. If there comes a moment in time which you’re unsure of what someone RP��s, they should have a Rules+ Folder on their blog. If not, it’s best to just straight up ask.)

Here are a few Tips and Tricks of good ole’ Pandas to help you get out there in the RP community. (RP blogs are recommended as Personal Blogs tend to be less attractive.)

Try making a post introducing yourself and the Muse(character) specifying your RP wants. In this case, SFW(Safe For Work) RP’s only. Make sure the first Five Tags are very specific, such as the Fandom you’re in, Roleplaying, etc. With the right tags, your post can show up in searches and such. Until you get going, i would make sure to tag all your posts, even reblogs, with very specific tags to try and get some attention. It may take a while, but, it’ll eventually work.

Next up is to reblog some other Promo posts to your own blog. This will cause your reblogs/likes to show up in said RPers Activity, and they may consider giving your blog a look and possible follow.Although these tips are for Attracting Attention, one of the better bets might be to just overlook other RPers rules and then send a message to them. The more people you interact with, the more your blog will show up on their own followers and mutuals dashes, allowing their curiosity to grow and possibly give you a looky.

How old are you?: 17

Current job: I work with my mother as a veterinary assistant. I basically keep the pets calm and distracted with treats and rubs while she does acupuncture!

Dream job: 2D animator for a cartoon series!

What are you talented at?: cooking/baking, drawing, singing, graphic design, and playing brass instruments! I favor euphonium though lol

What is a big goal you are working towards, or have already achieved?: I really want to finish a short story or even a book. My dream as a kid was to be an author, I can’t let that little girl down! The big reason I have so many OCs ha!

What is your aesthetic?: Driving to the airport at 4 AM, when nothing feels real, the roads are empty, and the only lights are the highway streetlamps stretching into the distance. Also misty forests illuminated by lights dancing in the distance. And high contrast pictures of floating fruit.

Do you collect anything?: Used to collect rocks and weirdly-shaped beads! Now, I collect Redwall books, unnecessarily tiny office supplies, and those things you put on car antennae that they sell at Disneyland/world (although since no one has those anymore, i dont think they make them now...)

What is a topic you’re always up to talk about?: INVADER ZIIIIIMM!!!! also criticizing/praising the technique of animated movies or shows!

What’s a pet peeve of yours?: when people stand in doorways to chat and ignore you when you try to fuckin pass bc wE’VE GOT PLACES TO BE PEOPLE WTF?!?!?

Good advice to give?: Be upfront about who you are and what you love, even if you will make enemies that way. You will be more satisfied with yourself if you embrace who you are. If people don’t like that, that’s their fault, and it’s not your problem. They aren’t the kind of people you want to associate with, anyway.

Recommend three songs?: “Human” by Rag’n’Bone Man, “The Doe” by Good Lovelies, and “Demon Kitty Rag” by Katzenjammer. I’d really recommend ANYTHING by Good Lovelies, it’s all gorgeous!
