Another race, conquered. This time, the Manhattan 10K. I am so so proud of my running pal @zephyr_ann and I for taking this race by its laces and getting on the course today! The posted time is not the official time but probably pretty close to it since it’s from their app - I’ll share that as soon as NYRR uploads it to my runner dashboard. And if you’re lucky… A little bit of nature will come to you… Saw lots and lots of mosquito nature (wink-wink), and some deer babies on a nice easy 6 mile run with my Hun! My husband has been gone for a week so it was nice to run and walk and talk and get eaten alive… Together! It’s also super nice to have my Instagram photographer back! So if you don’t like them…😉There truly is nothing better than the land that has been set aside for trails! Thank goodness for smart and savvy early pioneers and others who realized it was better to preserve the land for its beauty and enjoyment than for its profitability! Remember to pay your park fees, join the park associations… Because these are the things that keep you able to go where you like to enjoy the outdoors!
