This is me status post 13.1 long and hilly miles at the Mount Desert Island Half Marathon in Acadia, Maine in October. . Immediately following this (okay, let's be honest during my training and even during the half itself) I swore off ever doing another half or even running again. The half was hard (okay maybe I didn't train properly) and my legs were sore for days. . But to all you crazy runners who cheered me on and told me I'd want to do another one and I told you you were insane.... . Apparently I drank the kool-aid. 🙈🙊 . My BIG goal for 2019 is to run another half and to beat my MDI time. My plan is to do one in the fall! 🙃 . Any runners suggest any fall halfs in the New England area?
