This fundraiser is being spearheaded by Vanesa Argueta from New York, on behalf of her friend Ahmed Altaban and his family of 8 in Gaza. They live in a town at the center of the Gaza Strip.

Besides Ahmed, there are seven more members of the Altaban family; Heba (his mother), Amjad (his father), his brothers Khaled, Soliman, and Abdallah, his young sister Lamar, and his grandfather Ahmed.

He and his siblings were all pursuing engineering, design, or completing grade school; Lamar in particular aspires to be a doctor some day.

On the Gofundme you can also find a video message from the Altabans youngest child, Abdallah.

Donations will cover:

yes! Pixies last new game, Fae Farm, got too complicated so Pixie only can play when guardian Wizard home and willing help Pixie :(

Pixie do good playing without help animal crossing and Rune Factory (Pixie usually just avoid the monsters in Rune Factory but any ways, is not about kill monsters, is just send monsters back home !)

Pixie only have Nintendo 3DS and switch , and could maybe get access to playstation 5 .

They are a family of eight; Haya (31), along with her parents, Nahed (64) and Shadia (53), her brother Mohamed (35), and her three sisters, Ghadir (37), Amal (29), and Aseel (21). Their other brother, Ahmed, is currently in Belgium and helping his family organize this fundraiser.

On October 7th, Haya and her family evacuated from their home in northern Gaze to southern Gaza, hoping to be able to return to their home soon. Unfortunately, their home was surrounded, burned, and then completely destroyed.

On their Gofundme, you can find a brief video depicting the terror and devastation that struck their home and entire neighborhood.

Haya suffers from a severe allergy to penicillin-derived medications, and her sister Amal also suffers severe allergies to medication such as Paracetamol and Ibuprofen.

These allergies cause fear and anxiety every time they may require to visit the hospital - they fear being given the wrong medication due to the unavailability of subtitle treatments or medicine in Gaza because of the war or simply lack of awareness and not informing the doctor of their allergies, which could lead to life-threatening consequences.

Before the war, their father owned an automated food factory that he established in 1996, he produced a popular dish called Maf’toul, named Couscos Al-Sham and it was distributed to all markets in the Gaza Strip - both north and south. He was even, recently, looking to export his products outside the Gaza Strip. But, due to the war, his factory was destroyed.

Haya and her siblings worked as a united team of freelancers, including three skilled programmers and one graphic designer.

As for Haya’s youngest sister, she was a student studying at the College of Architects. She looked forward to the day she’d receive her degree and be a part of changing Gaza, making the city better and more beautiful.

Despite the war bringing the destruction of infrastructure and universities, she continues to dream and work diligently to rebuild Gaza, and achieve her vision of a city full of life and beauty.

The goal of this fundraising campaign is to rescue Haya’s family - her parents, her siblings, and herself - through the Rafah Crossing to Egypt, which currently requires $5000 per person. This campaign is their only chance to stay alive.

Breakdown of Expenses

• Passport fees: €135 per person (a total of €945 for seven family members)

• Rafah/Egypt crossing: €5000 per person (a total of €35,000 for seven family members)

• Minimum living costs: €1,700 per month (a total of €10,200 for six months)

To Kitsune - Do you see your kids very often? Do they partake in your classes?

Kitsune: they have their own schedules, so i don’t see them 'round much. Only for a bit at the end of the day usually. But I’m not their dad or granddad or great grandad or whatever. Just making sure theyre safe and happy. They’re good kids.

Fumiko: that...kind of sounds like what a dad does, doesnt it?

Rune: yeah, my dad did that too.

Kitsune: you cheeky kids! It’s just basic kindness! Better enjoy it while it lasts!
