This little imp got away from me today. The gate was left open and I didn't know. I found him in the neighbors yard and was able to grab him. But he slipped out of the collar and ran. He went to the cemetery at the end of the street. It's where we go for walks. He's not fast but I could not catch him. I didn't lose sight of him and sent a text to my sister. Stewart, gate open, cemetery. She was on her way quick. He followed our usual walking pattern and I stayed close but couldn't reach him physically. I was sick thinking about losing him. There was a little lost dog in my neighborhood last week that didn't survive. That's all I kept thinking. Don't lose sight of him. He will eventually tire out and slow down. He would get close but he saw it as a game. Finally my sister found us and he went right to her. She picked his ass up and threw it in her car and slammed the door. I don't think he knew what hit him. Physically I've recovered but emotionally? It will be a long time. I can't even look at him. I want to hold him so tight but push him away at the same time. I'm still grieving over Piper. I don't have it in me to lose another dog yet. We will be working on recalls and proofing every day. Fortunately my friend is a trainer so she will be helping. She always said the most important thing to teach your dog is the recall. It may save their life some day. This is my second chance with Stewart. I learned the hard way that his recall is crap. Hug your dogs a little closer tonight but also check the gates.

His name is Louis. My friend @albinoperuvian1 of 14 years has lost her dog. He's been missing since Friday, February 15, 2019. He's an all black pittie with white on his chest and feet. He is also microchipped and tbe chip has been activated, but there still hasn't been a sign of him. He isn't wearing a collar and wiggled out of it in Decatur, Dekalb County, GA. He's a very sweet dog, but sometimes gets scared around unknown people. He isn't aggressive. Please help my friend find her dog. He's everything to her. Hi! So this post is gonna be a bit weird, since I’ve been blogging for years but I just moved accounts and I never made a formal introduction anyways… I had a huge turnover during last summer, I changed my university course (I previously struggled with Software Engineering) and dumped unnecessary things. And I promised myself that I’ll take better care of the things I chose to keep - like this blog. So I separated it from my other blog (naturalcircuits) thus  here we are!

Today Bosco took off from the townhouse property driveways, ran across a very busy bus route street to the driveway across the way to chase, I don’t know what. I was that crazy lady yelling at him to stop and running across the street in my slippers to go get him. He’s never run off like that before. Scared the poop out of me. He def knew it because he was shaking and cowering as I was scolding him for running off like that! This is how he’s been since we got back into the house, non stop cuddles and kisses. These two BEASTS right here!!! Yes, I am calling them beast because it's the nicest name I can think of for what they put me through Friday afternoon and Saturday. The front door bounced back open at 4:30 Friday evening and out they went at warp speed. I could not catch them. The girls could not catch them. We walked and yelled for them. Robert and I drove around until near 10pm that night looking for them. It was 104 on Friday I was so incredible worried since they are inside dogs! We found out from asking everyone we saw that they had come through the library parking lot and headed to a city building and played in the fountain there like two wild beasts and Max the big white one letting everyone pet him. One of the ladies at the city building was trying to get them but they wouldn't let her. We didn't know at the time but a young man traveling through out town picked them up at 5pm and had driven them 30 minutes away to his home and posted an ad on Craigslist but no way to contact him but reply. By the time I saw the ad and replied he had put them in his backyard and they had jumped out and another couple had picked them up and posted another ad on craigslist with no way to contact but reply as well. All in all not sure how but I'm thinking they got out from them as well and the Code enforcement inspector of that town had them. The only way I found this out was I posted on a Facebook group and the lady said that they had called her saying they had her dogs and it wasn't hers. Thank goodness the officer only gave me a warning. I'm so thankful that they were found but let me tell you it was an emotional roller coaster! Lol #beast #runawaydog #lovethem

Good news train! I'm on week 3 of my FULL TIME job with FULL BENEFITS that actually cares what I think about working there, and I'm starting to feel like I kind of know what I'm doing. Friday is my first paycheck and I'm so relieved to be at a job that pays the bills and not three jobs that don't. I am already planning on the wonderful things I will spend my free time and money on and it is overwhelmingly exciting!
