// Ok I didn’t want to go this far but at this point, you guys are hating on Ayato just for clout and it shows. It’s okay not to like a character but straight up spreading misinformation about him is not okay. If you lack reading comprehension, just admit it.

What makes Ayato’s past so sad isn’t only the fact that Cordelia was mean towards him. She mentally and physically abused him, yet what genuinely hurt Ayato the most was the way Cordelia treated ALL the triplets. A part of him didn’t even want to kill her, given that he CRIED in the MB flashbacks because, despite being a huge abuser, he STILL felt sympathy even for someone like her. No matter how horrible Cordelia was, Ayato still wished for Karlheinz to reciprocate her feelings only to finally see her happy.

Don't even get me started on the Adam curse. He was practically used as bait and abandoned to death by his own brothers, but he still hoped for their safety after escaping. That curse literally destroyed his entire life because its purpose was to make the person who ate the fig drown in despair and go insane. That's why he was sooo obsessed with Yui's blood. Heck, he's cursed in routes other than his own, as he goes insane in Ruki's MB one, to the point that his brothers had to lock him inside the dungeon. In addition, in his MB Vampire Ending, he falls into a coma because he refuses to hurt Yui and keep drinking her blood.

Other than that, Laito was the one who made him believe that he wasn’t special, hence he adopted the “I will never make someone special again” mentality. He also wanted to kill him when he was younger (no hate towards any of his brothers though). Kanato was the only one who never did something bad to him, considering that when Ayato was a child, Reiji called him the disappointment of the family after failing a test.

Ayato did twisted stuff too; no character is a saint, but he always tries his best to fix things. Even when not dating Yui, he’s capable of showing compassion, support and a desire to improve his relationship with his brothers BY HIMSELF. Check this analysis for example.

Other than that, despite every time being hurt when trying to show kindness, he still became a very selfless guy who’d sacrifice himself for anyone at any given time. What makes this even more admirable is that according to Karlheinz, he’s literally the only one who actually VALUES his life. This guy who loves life would risk it all for Yui, even when not dating, or for any of his brothers.

On top of that, he's incredibly empathic?? He forgives everybody, no matter what they do to him, and seeks to maintain good relations with them. In Kino's LE route, for example, he tortures and burns Ayato, but Ayato is the first person to recognize him as his brother because he wanted Kino to feel that he, too, belonged to a family.

Last but not least, nobody silences Karlheinz as good as him. He was also the only one who connected the dots by himself about his dad being the root of all evil (Laito too but that was after the letter), including being the only one who didn’t want to kill him only because he didn’t want to fall into his plan. Check this post.

Oh and, Ayato is actually really big; it’s not that only his fans make him that way! This post basically proves that he’s the IT boy of otome games and I should also mention that he’s the character that sells the most in Japan and China! Just look what Japanese fans think of him. ;)

You can dislike him as much as you want but nobody can deny how brave and pure-hearted he is. He’s the definition of from zero to hero.

As I mentioned earlier, it's fine to dislike him, but don't become obsessed with it, lol. At the end of the day, he's merely a fictional character with endearing characteristics and the male lead. It's really not that deep. Besides, it's embarrassing when the hate comes from Yui stans because she definitely wouldn't be happy of any of you talking about her man in that way.

The doors that lead to our bedrooms have locks. And although not always clean, the hallways are safe. 

The garden is unlike the one, filled with roses, I was used to watering. It instead houses a humble plantation that smells of a vivid mix of the most varied vegetables (and fruits). The kitchen too. It alone could house a family of five.

Or maybe, just four. This place is exactly as the name implies: Mukamis’ Mansion.

— You should thank me for asking you out. — The arrogant words come out with a soft hum, meant as a joke. At least I hope so. — That skin of yours could use some sunlight… — While opening the door for me, Kou gives one of his characteristic smiles. The one everybody knows. 

One of the most popular idols in Japan, from magazines to the streets of the quiet Kanashimashi town. The flushed skin, the slender face adorning blue eyes like the skies, blond hair blowing in the wind, voluminous locks covering the right side of his face.

Out of all the boys, Kou was the one I saw the least daily. Suddenly, he started to dedicate himself twice as much to modeling.

 — I just decided to take you for a walk, masochistic kitten, nothing more... — I cringe with embarrassment at the nickname, some pedestrians staring at us. — Let’s go to a very appropriate place for someone like you… ♥

— Eh— I cover my ear, feeling itchy when his face gets closer to mine. — Don't whisper so close. And… you're making me nervous, saying such things!

— Are you really bothered by so little? — he jokes, putting his arm around my shoulder as we walk. — Isn't that body of yours too tense?

The last thing I want is for any of his fans (or paparazzi) to see us together and jump to weird conclusions! Walking like that, close to him, makes me feel awkward. Maybe it's because of my missteps, or because from afar, we actually look like a couple. 

The walk continues slowly, bringing us closer to a small cafe, far from our part of the neighborhood. Green bricks adorn the windows and the billboard of a smiling pudding-shaped kitten, the windows giving views of the few customers.

— That's... — before I can finish my sentence, he moves his arm away and steps in front. The small bell hanging on the door rings when pushed—

Yes, a traditional atmosphere, complete with the smell of fresh coffee and chocolate cake on the platters carried by the waitresses. However, there was still room for some quirky furniture… Scratching posts, shelves, ladders, toys, and some lined cardboard boxes scattered around the corners, all customized to match the pastel color palette.

— So, did you like it? — he even traces his nails on an empty, more isolated scratching post as we enter. — A shame that the kitten is too big to fit in the toys...

His comment barely reaches my ears — I'm too busy crouching down to pet the gray cat that's come to greet us.

When she leaves, I stare at Kou.

— Free dessert, girl. The rest is on me.

That doesn't really explain why he called me sister... and judging by his face, I doubt he'll explain anything. So I leave it aside, wanting to avoid a nuisance.

I observe the free movement of the felines, taking the opportunity to fix my curls tangled by the street wind with my fingers. I'm terrible at starting a conversation. Kou, however, resembles a butterfly with it's wings covered in night shadows. I say this because, from the way his leg was shaking under the table, he seemed anxious — different from the charismatic man who had just invented those lies.

I notice that, in the middle of his comment, a group of waitresses approaches our table, with two slices of pink cake on a platter: one with a candle and the other without. I realize what's coming before I start.

Are they singing… happy birthday? It's very quiet so as not to scare the cats, but most people around are staring. And Kou keeps his face intact, smiling as if nothing was wrong.

That velvety voice of Kou… certainly has a tone of irony! And the way he looks at me with so much enthusiasm makes it worse. I'm being laughed at. With one breath from the vampire, the spark goes out, the brief song coming to an end. 

The waitresses smile, leaving the cake along with the other delicacies Kou ordered by himself on the table.

— Enjoy! — a moment of peace for me to consume my meal after this crazy story. 

I let a relieved sigh roll out of my lips, taking the warm croissant in my hands, taking a bite. It is very soft, buttery and smooth. Just how I like it.

— Aren't you forgetting something, masochistic kitten? You know, the bare minimum…

I wipe my mouth with a napkin that's decorated with cartoonish feline paws, my gaze unable to hide the merely indignant glow that this whole ordeal made me have. In the end, I end up laughing.

— Thank you, Kou…

A break from the chaos at home is welcome. But thinking about it, his presence already makes a lot of… interesting side-effects. 

We spend a pleasant morning, surrounded by boxes and kittens that snuggle in our legs. The food was on point, and the conversations around us made us want to talk to each other too. 

So we did — we talked and had coffee.

Maybe I'm being too tolerant of Kou, however, as I always see him so excited to do things, I find it difficult to deny his desires. Because it's also very difficult to deal with his bad mood.

On days like this, he just takes my arm and I follow him. And we get somewhere.

— Credit, please. — His mood had already improved a little, until it was time to pay the bill.

It all happened so quickly, that I could barely notice the blush that spread across my cheekbones, the cause, or even the reason of everything that had happened.

And for a moment, I was taken to the blue sky.

Floating, stupefied, above the cotton clouds that embraced us in that strangely tender moment, as sudden as the breeze.

— You need to be more honest with yourself. You didn’t go out with me because ‘I got a sharp tongue, no. — He caresses my cheek with the tip of his nail. — You came because you like me.

The weight of the world seems to fall on my head. Smug, powerful words that I feared were true.

But I didn't have time to process any of that.

The old lady who served us just dropped an entire plate of sweets. She looked at us in astonishment.

— Y-you… ?

Finally, with Kou's lackey laugh as he pulls me away, I understand the reason for horror.

— Wait! — Before passing through the door, I shout: — NO, WE ARE NOT SIBLINGS!

She's even shaking. Everyone is looking….

— K-Kou!

I don't think I'll ever go out with him again.

leckie/runner (rukie hehe) - they are gross and tender and so sweet. the pacific didn’t really shy away from actual bodily excrement, the meet cute or rather, the beginning of my synapses firing for these two was the peaches and diarrhea scene so there’s that lmao! i love them post-war. the idea that they were shipped back stateside together always gives me some kind of relief, only in the sense that they weren’t alone in that. they also just riff off each other so well. i love the idea of the playfulness wearing down into something softer that gives way to vulnerability.

loosier- they tend to get irritated and sick of it (the war, the navy, the fucking rain) in the same length of time—but they manifest it so differently. hoosier’s just tired, frowns, but if you prod him enough he rips you a new one. whereas leckie cannot pretend to be okay with the situation even with a gun to his head. i also really like the idea of them finding comfort in each other, i’d love to see it set during the war. in a foxhole when one of them’s tired of being so goddamn angry and just wants some semblance of softness, and the other one’s just happy to give it back.

webgott - friction and finding some kind of hope, some part of themselves under each other’s skin. webgott is endlessly fascinating to me bc they’re so alike but seemingly not enough. how theyre so busy on arguing that it sounds like pleading to be seen—and only in the way the other man can. they can’t seem to catch up with each other no matter how fast they run. they collide and it shatters everything in good ways and bad. like they’re gripping each other’s shoulders and they don’t know if it’s from frustration or if it’s because they scared that the moment they let go, it’s gone. war or post-war. it’s always so so interesting to me and i’m so fond of both of them individually. i don’t mind some tragedy but i love seeing them happy too, and wanting, always wanting.

winnix- ….man, idk how to begin with this so… i guess i’ll start by saying i like my winnix mixed with their irl characteristics. by that i mean there’s a love and a fondness that’s so undeniably there. and neither of them know how to regard the other one with anything less than devotion and affection that they themselves can barely name. i like the confusion that gives them. i said it before but it almost feels like paradoxically, being with the other is both the easiest thing in the world, and the one thing that causes them to feel desperate. i don’t think either of them know the word codependency until they’ve been removed from the side of the other (dick saying hes lonesome as a lovesick swab, nix calling him up to ask ‘heyyy haha so ur back… still want the job or?’) Whatever they have is suddenly the easiest thing they’ve had to navigate—the quickness of their understanding each other isn’t necessarily an immediate shock, it’s like… in my head it doesn’t hit them until it’s like 3AM and they’re in the barracks wide awake after lights out taking about nothing, and it’s like ‘oh you’re still here.’ and that’s still them when they’re 60 and they wake up with arthritis, talk about the morning and it’s still ‘oh, you’re still here.’ and it’s hard not to fall in love again. but it’s also so new, to be seen so easily, but they both feel like they have to somehow earn each other? nix feeling like dick is the first thing he didn’t inherit, and dick feeling like there’s no one else like this and he has to keep working for it. i loooove winnix because they simply cannot even begin to think of hiding their fondness because it’s just the movement of an involuntary muscle. pre, during and post war. <3

Elmira Petrov: A powerful Russian vampire noble who has a calm but dominate personality. She’s very blunt and is not afraid to take what she wants whenever she wants, even if there are consequences. She may be hardcore but she does have a soft spot for anything she identifies as adorable or cutesy.

I’ve had these girls in my head since I’ve written DL stories and with this final story that I’m hopefully going to write soon, I’ll be able to input these fabulous characters in there and share more of their stories and characteristics! The Kitsune's Sexual Energy and Mating Season

Sexual Energy

Sometimes Kitsune can be seen as a seductress/seducer and in a way, their characteristics remind Vampires or Succubi/Incubi.

They gain energy through sexual contact but they can't live by just that and that way they are different from Vampires who can survive with mere blood or Succubi/Incubi who feed themselves only by sexual energy.

Snatching energy from the sexual partner causes tingling, an enjoyable feeling that fills Kitsune's body and mind, heightening the pleasure they get through intercourse or other sexual actions with the partner. It's mentally and spiritually refreshing but also causes growing stamina.

After a sexual encounter, the Kitsune might feel more awake than usual and be unable to sleep hence the energy coursing in them.

This sensation can be intoxicating, making the Kitsune yearn for more. Similar to alcohol, energy snatching can lead to addiction. However, this happens rather rarely, because the Kitsune know the danger and are usually cautious.

The rougher the sex, the more energy is snatched because the intense friction and the stronger mental reaction of the partner cause more energy flow.

Kitsune might also form a romantic relationship and be highly devoted to their partner, wanting only the said partner's energy through sex. Being in love with someone ties them to that partner's energy much more intensively than casual sex with someone.

A sexual encounter with a Kitsune isn't dangerous to the other party but can be more tiring than regular sex.

When having regular sexual encounters with a Kitsune, a human needs to sleep a lot and eat healthily to regain the lost energy.

Kitsune don't gain energy from each other this way which is why they might be intrigued to seduce humans or other beings.

However, sexual encounters with the Vampires are different. While a Kitsune snatches energy, the Vampire gets it back by sucking blood. Both experience heightened enjoyment but the energy balance stays the same as it was before.

In a sexual encounter of two half Kitsune, the energy balance also remains unchanged. What one partner takes, the other gets back. In this case, both can enjoy their heightened pleasure but are exhausted afterward.

Mating Season

In general, Kitsune have a high sex drive.

Twice a year this is additionally increased. They have a mating season in spring from mid-April to mid-May and in summer around July.

Due to mating season and fox features the chance to get pregnant is much higher in mid-April to mid-May and July than the rest of the year. Human origin is responsible for normal human chances of getting pregnant over the rest of the year.

During this time, it is difficult for a Kitsune to concentrate on other things. Their thoughts are all about sexual encounters. Teenagers especially suffer because of a special season.

However, adults are better able to control their needs and instincts.

Diabolik Lovers & Owari no Seraph crossover

Okay so I thought about it like that

The original OnS continues as it is but the Shinoa Team finds out about another cult with a code-name DL/D-ā(ディアボリックラヴァーズ) which they cannot decode. They decide to save whoever was involved in it despite it lasting an entire lifetime (considering ages of the vampires in DiaLovers it’s 16-18 years) which would mean it was almost as fresh as the Hyakuya cult. After getting approval from higher forces Shinoa Team decides to save the subjects under new management; Yuu’s leadership and Mika’s protection.

When they get to the location, which was assumed to be the city where subjects were hidden, Shinoa Team gets some new information from both vampire and human higher-ups. One file included an information about four human children put in the same orphanage suddenly disappearing one night even though there were other children, second file included information about six vampires with various abilities going missing. Despite all having teleportation abilities nobody have ever seen them suddenly appearing anywhere for about 13 years. All said to have disappeared as the youngest one was barely 3 years old. Profiles of the missing children from both cases were displayed on the screens.

Yuma: Last seen when he was 4 years old, personality characteristics: typical troublemaker, always running away from the orphanage (always got caught and sent back eventually), overconfident, appearance characteristics: brown eyes, long brown hair usually tied into highly placed bun with bangs.

Azusa: Last seen when he was 4 years old, personality characteristics: always reaching for some kind of blade, in worse cases with scars, he always says that he doesn’t understand why people at the orphanage are upset about his scars and was always explaining that he was doing it to make them happy, appearance characteristics: grey eyes, greyish-green hair with a hairstyle similar to a wild animal putting its ears down.

Everyone on the team agreed that it was odd that some data was missing, not even mentioning the assumption that the experiment might involve messing up with DNA which can code appearance. Yuu and Mika pointed out that in the given files some danger-warning data was included, everyone looked through all the files once again with that thought in mind. The team once again agreed they should be careful depending on which part of the team will take care of finding the vampire subjects.

Kimizuki, Yoichi and Mitsuba decided to take care of finding the humans, leaving the vampire case to Yuu, Mika and Shinoa.

see the difference between kino and the tsukinami bros as the villains is that in dark fate, carla and shin target yui specifically. they want yui and they will use force on others and her if it means reaching their goal. so it makes sense that almost 50% of the games bad endings are either dubcon or noncon or ntr (unfortunately for me). the sakamakis and mukamis put their attention on yui and the plot still revolves yui as the key idea. even the tsukinamis were straight up violent and aggressive and evil even in their own route.

the sakamakis main conflict was they were forced to prepare themselves to kill karlheinz and become adam in order to be together with yui. the mukamis main conflict was that they had to face the realization that they could never be adam and that they never meant to be yuis but they still fought for each others love. even for the tsukinamis, they went through the stage of wanting yui coz of obligation to wanting yui coz they genuinely love her.

in the end, in dark fate, yui was the main focus.

meanwhile in lost eden, kinos main objective is to wipe out the demon world and/or get karlheinzs power. but even as a villain, kino is more playful and cunning rather than the violent duo. he was never interested in yui unless it was in his own route. so this is why yui was never part of the main conflict in some routes (eg: azusas and laitos routes). in some cases yui even played the support role. shes still just as important but her roles werent as...crucial compared to dark fate. this in the end this leads to bad ends that mostly has the characters dead or go insane coz they lost their loved ones.

now im not saying its a bad thing. tbh i like it. i love that theyre giving more lores and focuses on the LIs background and characteristics. i love azusas love for his brothers that he went insane when he thought he killed ruki. im pretty sure based on what i accidentally read im gonna see shuu and yumas broken friendship be the highlight in either these guys routes (which is sad for me coz tht also means yui gets pushed aside for awhile). i love that yui is more and more vocal and stronger and smarter when dealing with these bastards.

however i still prefer dark fate. yui is the main character and she should be highlighted in all routes. she plays the key role and whatever choices the idiot vampires made it all revolves around her. after playing and enjoying dark fate i can see why people dissed on lost eden. idk if the dissing is coz of the same reasoning but dark fate has a more satisfying lore and plot and it sorta gives a nice ending if its a continuation from more blood. while some of their bad ends fuck me up (both in a good and bad way) the game was SO fun and satisfying and it has become the reason why its number 3 in my otome games

Some robust and tall ancient trees parading like a huge lineup of soldiers devoted to mother nature originated in the territories of cold Cephalonia, covered by a navy blue tablecloth in which various pinkish and purple colors faded like a reflection of the setting sun that was still struggling to leave its mark on the sky, illuminated by the twinkling stars and the swell of a long aurora borealis indicating where the ocean lay in whose crystalline water the white full moon was reflected as the protagonist.

In the depth of the dark forest the insects organized a gentle orchestra and while the fireflies lit up the atmosphere from above, the Cephalonia lilies and mushrooms shone with their characteristic vibrant colors of electric blue or cold white that combined with the snow that rested on the leaves of the tops of the fir and oak trees from last night's snowfall.

A white marble chapel hid the edgy bride who was finishing up the final touches, setting her subtle makeup and keeping each strand of her hair in its proper place. The woman with the pearl-trimmed champagne hair took a deep breath as she gazed at herself in the large full-length mirror, running her hands over her curves to command the dress to stay snug at her waist and the dark navy blue satin fabric to stay smooth.

The soft sound produced by the pressed piano keys reached her ears, knowing that she could rest assured that no mistake would be heard by trusting completely in the best pianist she knew: Scarlett.

The woman took her bouquet once she was told that it was time to leave the chapel and walk to the altar. Pressing against her chest and squeezing in her hands the stems of the ferns and the white jasmine flowers, accompanied by blue roses and white and blue 'love in mist' flowers, tied with their white bow. Irina watched from the mirror as a couple of her servants correctly placed the small tiara with its respective long veil until it crawled on the floor, dark but transparent, you could see the soft embroidery to combine it with her mermaid tail dress.

With everything ready and her nervousness calmed down, the blonde finally went through the door to go at a leisurely pace to the small private place where she would unite her ties in unholy marriage.

Finally, as soon as her black heels stepped onto the path of white rose petals, surrounded by the seats occupied by their respective guests, the melody of the piano announced her entrance. With her head held high, she focused on looking ahead with a soft smile, walking below roofs of long ivy and warm lights, adorned with more jasmine flowers, hyacinths and blue perennials until her jade jewels noticed the male figure she most wanted to see at that moment, standing at the altar waiting for her arrival.

The corners of her lips twitched further in excitement once Irina had reached the side of the raven-haired man who dazzled before her eyes in a handsome blue and black suit.

— You look amazing, much better than I expected. — She murmured taking Ruki's hand with one of hers to rub the back with her thumb in a longing to have physical contact again, while her eyes shone crystallized with the joy she still couldn't show.

“It’s I who should be saying that, Irina. You look absolutely bewitching… as always,” two cobalt blues stared in marvel at the beautiful bride before him, “but even more so knowing the two of us shall always have an unbreakable bond. I promise to make you happy for the rest of our days, but I’ll spare you the spiel until our vows.”

Elations swells in his undead chest as Ruki reciprocated the blonde’s familiar touch with a taut squeeze of his own hand, caging her digits in his own like the manacles stronger than mere possession or want, but rather necessity in the woman who introduced a whole world of color in his life. Within such close proximity to Irina, the surrounding petals of the bouquets and marital ornaments scintillate with sapphires almost subduing to the eyes, alabaster of the tessellate beneath and the precipitation outdoors boasting a blinding albedo, and the thunderclaps of a nearby cascading cataract reflecting a silver sheen filtering colors of the moon at zenith and all constellations brighter than Sirius in the celestial night. Euphonious piano resonated in tandem with their traipsed footsteps up the raised platform for all beloved guests to witness and behold before the soon-to-be married couple exchanged covenants to seal their hearts, bodies, and souls as one. In his lover’s gems, the Vampire saw the paragon of connubial splendor and pulchritude.

“In joy and in sorrow, awake and asleep, in strength and in weakness… Irina, I feel abundantly proud and fortunate to stand by your side.”

Threading their fingers unassumingly through the blooms’ stems, Ruki gazed intently into her refulgent emeralds in hopes of mollifying the high-strung atmosphere accompanying the precursor to eternal union. The cynosure of his idolatry, his loftiest imaginings, everything he once deemed unattainable, stood before him to earn a glimmering smile uncharacteristic of the usual calm composure that concealed kindling merriment. A once-permanent maelstrom gave way to the morning mist of new beginnings, cloudless skies, and adrift love no longer tethered by vampirism nor time and space itself.

“Irina, I was drawn to you from our first encounter. Immediately your warm and inviting demeanor softened my cold façade, as much as I didn’t want to admit it. I remember wanting to see more of you, and eventually to have you as my own, all to myself. So, to see you in your wondrous wedding gown like this… It’s like fate smiles upon me after everything I’ve experienced. A faint florid dusted his pallor with each word, the strength required to suppress a surge of emotions pooling at his tear ducts growing rapidly throughout his carefully considered oration as Ruki observed the Owl’s cloying visage. Rather than shedding any bittersweet pearls, the Vampire remained steadfast and renewed his ardor.

“Your love is infectious and empowers me to an unfathomable degree, Irina. Thank you for understanding me. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. Thank you for comforting me throughout the lowest points of my long-lived time, and for exulting with me in the highest of our glory together. Thank you for being the light that eradicates the umbrage. Thank you for teaching me how to love and what it’s like to be alive. I love you more fiercely and wholeheartedly and promise to cherish you in nothing short of the greatest regard. From all the books we’ve read and scrutinized, from all the thought-provoking conversations we’ve had, to your enchanting voice I look forward to listening to every day, I will protect you always. There is no world without you I wish to live in. Even if the world becomes our enemy, I’ll still be there for you.”

Suddenly, leaning forward, he whispered into her pointed bejeweled ear with the most mellifluous whisper after tucking a section of golden strands away.

“And I’m confident you will be the best mother to our children.”

With a closed-eye grin, the Vampire withdrew to finish his vows.

“Every moment with you is a puzzle piece in this jigsaw of our lives. Finally… I have something to live for. As the hands of the clock dawn on this new era, you’ve made it so easy for me to forget the tragedies I’ve endured before we met. Perhaps I’ve been blessed with the gift of immortality not to carry out the will of another, but instead to love you with all that I am. This is my sacred promise to you, and only you, Irina. Come what may, you can always rely and count on me—as your husband.”

Can we talk about something that I don’t really get. I’ve been in this fandom for a long time and I really can’t believe the fandom sees Yui as a girly girl.

I’m not saying it as something mean but she’s not like that in the slightest in the games. Not entirely tomboy but not girly either, she’s just a normal person who isn’t a stereotype and that’s what makes her special from other heroines I had seen.

Are people only seeing her as girly because she cooks and wears pink?! So do Reiji and Ruki and Kou wears that color too and that doesn’t make them any less manly. It feels like the fandom only likes their own version of Yui. She’s just an ordinary girl, and whoever does that misses the whole point of her character. She’s not the epitome of beauty nor girly, she’s made to be a normal girl with a f-ing good heart that can heal even the worst of the monsters. I apologize for making this so long, I would love to hear your thoughts admin because you seem one of the few real ones in this fandom and I love your blog ❤️

Yui is not girly, and this has been confirmed numerous times in the games, but there is nothing wrong with that:

Yui was never interested in make-up until she saw how beautiful her Ryōtei Academy classmates were. Although, she abandoned the idea of wearing make-up later. In Kou's MB route, he does her make-up, which she didn’t really like because she believed she looked too different dolled up.

Yui had never tried nail polish before Ruki's DF heaven scenario.

Laito claims that after they started dating, he was surprised to discover that Yui wasn't good at girl stuff at all.

Yui isn’t really fond of elegant clothing; when Cordelia was in her body, she dressed her up in that lovely dark blue dress but Yui described it as “tight and uncomfortable”. The only reason she wore the outfits she did in the games was most likely because they were all pretty baggy and comfortable. Furthermore, not all of them are pink nor pastel-colored.

Her fashion sense is regarded as bad. She got a new dress in VC because the clothes she was wearing were called too "servant-like”.

She was sitting down at a ball when Reiji told her something, so she jumped up excited but almost fell down because she couldn't handle the heels.

She never puts on perfume. In Ayato's CL, she wore it for him, but he noticed her smell and said he preferred her natural one.

I also believe that people frequently confuse being girly with being feminine. Is Yui girly? No, she's not into girl stuff. Is she feminine? Of course, she's the heroine, and she's supposed to represent a girl, so she'd have some traditionally feminine personality traits like generosity, warmth, kindness, and empathy. However, it’s not like she can’t be loud, a klutz or not ladylike:

She’s confirmed to have a very loud voice. When hiding, her voice is every time said to be the loudest, even when she's whispering.

She's clumsy, and she definitely lacks grace (yet I find that cute).

She canonically doesn’t have a very good posture. Reiji and other characters complained about that at some point.

Remember, being feminine doesn’t only mean being quiet, soft-spoken, graceful, wise or chic; it includes a variety of other characteristics, and no one says you have to possess all of them to be considered feminine. 💕

Is Marion in love with Yui? Does Marion know the Sakamaki/Mukami/Tsukinami brothers?

He isn't in love. But when they first met, he was enthralled. Evreything about her made his heart beat a little faster. It was an instant crush.

Her gentle smile, how patient she was while giving him directions around the school -even though he doesn't have any good sense of orientation and will get lost again-, how soft-spoken she is yet so lively... Really, if he sees Yui just once, it makes his day.

Now regarding the vampires/founders.

He does know them.

The Sakamaki brothers are quite...infamous in Marion's community. So he definitely heard many things before he got to meet them in person.

And oh boy, he didn't have to wait long before hating them. When he saw how these fuckers were treating Yui...He knew he wasn't allowed to act but he instantly became so much more protective over her.

But that's how it should be after all: Marion is the son of a vampire hunter.

So he knows who the Sakamaki, Mukami and Tsukinami brothers really are.

And Yui, oh so sweet Yui. He feels bad for her, terribly bad. He never understood this creepy pact between the Church and the Vampire King but he blames the Church for sending innocent people to the slaughterhouse that is the Sakamaki mansion. So whenever he'd get the occasion, he would invite Yui to spend the day with him, to make her forget about this twisted everyday life she has to endure. Just to see her smile without worrying about the long-teeth fuckers.

And he got beaten-up for that.

Ayato, Subaru, Yuma, Shin... You know how they are. They don't hesitate to throw hands at whomever tries to go against their orders and speaks to Yui.

Once, with characteristic calm and revilement, Reiji "advised" him to stop interfering with the business between the vampires and the Church.

An other time, Ruki cornered him in a desert hallway and "suggested" him to not try to mess with decisions that were above his very existence and instead perform the tasks he'd been given.

Because they know he is not here for them.

They are not the ones he hunts.

Ichika is the fourth wife of Karlheinz and the mother of Akemi Sakamaki. She is also the stepmother of Shu, Reiji, Ayato, Kanato, Laito, Subaru and Kino, and the adoptive mother of Ruki, Kou, Yuma and Azusa.

Appearance:

Ichika has been described by her stepsons, adoptive sons, her daughter, her husband, or anyone who saw her as the most beautiful woman they've ever seen, even more beautiful than Cordelia.

She has long wavy platinum blonde, white mid back hair and has grey eyes. She wears a light grey dress with three roses embellishment by the left side of her waist. On her right arm, she wore a long black see-through glove that was similar in style to the straps on her dress. She also wore a black necklace on her neck.

As a village girl, she once wore a simple sky-blue casual dress with white shirt underneath and a while apron and black no heel slippers with her long hair tied up into a long single ponytail with a few hair strains out before she lets her whole hair down after she married Karlheinz.

Ichika is very kind and motherly to the young Sakamaki and Mukami brothers and later to her only daughter. Ichika is said to possess an inner beauty that even death could not steal. Being beautiful inside and out, Ichika is very caring and kind to anyone she meets. She is sweet and friendly to all living beings and cherished all lives around her. She takes pride in her baking and enjoys making sweets for the people. Ichika is also very faithful towards her royal husband and treats him with respect. 

However, Ichika did show to fear him due to the fact that he is the Vampire King and what he might do to her if she makes one mistake to upset him even after she became a vampire. Her greatest characteristic trend is her motherly love towards her children, giving her stepsons and adopted sons real motherly love and loving them and her daughter as a real mother despite not being their real one to the Sakamaki and Mukami brothers. Ichika's sweet and kind nature had often clash with the other wives due to their parenting behavior towards their children. This shows that Ichika won't get along with parents who puts their own needs and interests above their children.

History:

Ichika was born and raised in a small human village in Japan with her mother and father and aunt. During her life in her hometown, Ichika took a liking to reading and wanted to learn how to play the violin and sing, so she can sing along to any music she listens to for entertainment. Her aunt always tells her from a young age not to trust men since there are some who wants to take advantage of women, Ichika didn't understand at the time, but listen to her aunt regardless.

She found that what her aunt meant when her music teacher her father hired tried to take advantage of her, sexually whenever they were alone together, however, she listened to her aunt's warning and tries to avoid him when their lessons are over, her former teacher almost sexual assaulted her after he snapped from being tired of her rejecting him, but her father came home in time to stop him, fired him and called the police to arrest him, she was only 13 years old at the time.

When she was 16, a man who was a secretary to a powerful duchess hired her to be his assistant when he visited the flower shop one day, so she starts helping him and earning a well pay money, however she began to realize that, like her former music teacher, he tries to get her for her looks and body as well and tries to avoid him whenever they were alone together. When he tries to sexual assault her, the duchess came to his office for important papers and saw this and called out guards to stop him, fired him on the spot and had him arrested.

Since then, Ichika began to develop a strong mistrust of men growing up, with the exception of her father. She became well known in her village for her talents and being an excellent baker and working at her aunt's flower shop, but she is mostly well known for her beauty. All the women in the village are secretly jealous of her as all the men wanted her as their wife, but she always turns them down, believing they only want her for her looks and not for herself due to her past trauma.

At some point, Ichika caught the eye of the Vampire King himself when he was visiting her village one day. Karlheinz was supposed to be incapable of love, but from the moment he lay his eyes on Ichika, he feels attracted to her and was unaware of it, until he discovered the men of her village wanted her as their wife, realizing he wants her for himself as his fourth wife.

Ichika, at first, rejected him, believing he only wants her for her looks just like the men before him, but after she found out what he really is, she grew afraid and tried to avoid him, however Karlheinz managed to convince her to marry him, and even though she knew he has three wives, she eventually married him with no other choice and after they got married, she said her goodbyes to her parents and aunt, and became the stepmother of the Sakamaki brothers. Her marriage to Karlheinz did came with criticism from many people because of her status born as a commoner and as a human. 

This earned Ichika many jealousies from the female nobility who saw her as an unfit wife for the Vampire King. Soon enough, Ichika became very close to her stepsons, showering them with motherly love they never got from their biological mothers, such as teaching Shu how to play the violin, spending time with Reiji, and playing with the triplets and Subaru.

Ichika even gotten close to the Mukamis after her husband saved them from an orphanage when they were humans. At some point, she met Kino and tries to visit him as much as she can to spend time with him. Ichika was heartbroken when she heard her parents and aunt passed away from an illness and the ones who comfort her for her loss was her husband and her sons. The Sakamaki and Mukami brothers all begged Ichika not to leave them, but she told them she can't promise them that due to her being a human.

At some point after Beatrix and Christa's deaths, Ichika became terminally ill with an unknown disease, and Cordelia seize this opportunity to finally get rid of her since Ichika was going to die soon by her illness, believing she would finally have all of Karlheinz's attention since whenever he comes to the house to visit, he would mostly spend time with Ichika. Cordelia and Ichika were arguing about Cordellia's treatment towards the triplets again before Cordelia mortally wounded her and drank her to the point of death.

Ichika tries to run away from her and fortunately for Ichika, she found the room where her stepsons were. When they saw her and the state she was in, they quickly rushed over to check on her while asking her what happened, she told them Cordelia was trying to kill her and while the triplets went to deal with Cordelia, Reiji, Shu and Subaru took her somewhere safe so Reiji can treat her injury.

After the triplets took care of Cordelia by killing her, they appeared in Ichika's bedroom just as Reiji asked Ichika why Cordelia tried to kill her after he treated her injury. Ichika reveals to them that she is slowly dying because of her illness, and Cordelia wanted to get rid of her, so she can get their father's attention for herself. Soon Karlheinz appeared, heard what happened and approached her to see if she was alright, to which she reassures him she is, but Reiji said that she was running out of time due to her illness.

Hearing this and not wanting to lose his favorite wife, Karlheinz offers Ichika a chance to live by turning her into a vampire, after some convincing from her husband and stepsons, she finally accepts his offer and Karlheinz turned her into a vampire. Making the Sakamaki brothers happy now that they won't lose her, along with Kino and the Mukami brothers who heard about it. Soon enough after her transformation, Ichika gave birth to a baby girl name Akemi a year later.

Karlheinz 

Karlheinz is Ichika's husband. Ichika is Karl's favorite wife. Ichika is very faithful and loyal to her royal husband. Karlheinz was supposed to be incapable of love, and yet when he first lay his eyes on her, there was something about her that attracts him so much to the point where he wants her for himself as his fourth wife. Ichika does eventually marry him, but only out of fear of what he'll do to her after she found out what he really is.

So even she does admit that he is very handsome, she only fears and respects him, especially after finding out he killed the two men who tried to sexually assault her when he found out what they tried to do to her from a young age, so she doesn't really love him, and he knows it. He tries to make things comfortable between them to make her feel safe and less tense whenever they're in the same room together, so whenever Karlheinz visited, he always brings and gives flowers to Ichika and the meaning behind those flowers are 'love'.

Akemi Sakamaki 

Akemi is Ichika's biological and only daughter. She loves her child very much and is happy to bring her into the world. She would teach Akemi how to sing and wants her to be happy, but not being spoiled. But Akemi doesn't know that Ichika made a deal with Karlheinz that she'll give birth to her in exchanged for Laito's freedom from his imprisonment.

Shu Sakamaki 

Shu is Ichika's eldest stepson. Ichika cares about Shu, despite not being her biological child. She was also the one who told the butler to give her the puppy that Beatrix wants to get rid of, so Ichika can give him back to Shu to take care of together in secret.

Reiji Sakamaki 

Reiji is Ichika's second oldest stepson. Because of Reiji being heavily neglected by his mother, Ichika tried to show him with motherly love to make him happy. Ichika is the only one Reiji has a soft spot for, besides Akemi.

Ayato Sakamaki

Ayato is Ichika's third oldest stepson. Ichika always tried to let Ayato see that he was already the best. She also stands up for him to Cordelia so he can have more time to play with his brothers and focus on his studies later on or for the next day. She was also the one who taught him how to swim after saving him from drowning in a lake by Cordelia, because of this, Ichika is very protective of Ayato and tries her best to make sure he stays away from Cordelia as much as possible.

Kanato Sakamaki 

Kanato is Ichika's fourth older stepson. Kanato took a quick liking to Ichika and soon began to seek her attention. He enjoys Ichika's baking and the sweets she makes whenever they're together. He always says Ichika is the best baker and she always makes the best sweets. She always makes sure he stays away from Cordelia as much as possible after she saw him bleeding his vocal cords out from singing too much to Cordelia, and caught her and Richter having sex while he was playing with his Teddy, because of this, Ichika is very protective of Kanato.

Laito Sakamaki 

Laito is Ichika's fifth older stepson. Ichika enjoys playing with Laito and is very kind to him. She was the one who gifted him a fedora hat, and he wears it all the time and treasures it. Ichika is very protective of Laito and wants him to stay away from Cordelia as much as possible. She defends him against Karlheinz when she told him that Cordelia was the one who made Laito have sex with her and started an incestuous relationship with her.

She was able to convince him to set Laito free from his prison, but in exchange to give him a child of her own. Laito felt responsible for Ichika giving up her virginity to Karlheinz in exchange for his freedom, but Ichika reassures him not to feel guilty since she knew she'll lose it to Karlheinz sooner or later. Because of this, out of all the Sakamaki brothers, she is closest to Laito the most because she knew what it's like to almost be used as an object due to her past trauma.

Subaru Sakamaki 

Subaru is Ichika's sixth younger stepson. Ichika loves to spend time with Subaru and encourages him to play with his half-brothers at a young age and was always by his side when his real mother is not around. Subaru is very kind to Ichika and enjoys her company as they would walk around the gardens when it was just the two of them. She would always tell him he is not a monster, and he is not powerless, hideous and polluted whenever she heard him calling himself those things and tells him he is a beautiful and kind boy who deserves to be loved and happy.

Kino 

Kino is Ichika's youngest stepson. Ichika is the only wife that discovered about the illegitimate son of her husband. However, Ichika is loving to Kino and treated him with kindness. Because of this, Kino plans to let Ichika, and later her daughter Akemi, live once he gets rid of the vampire race for her kindness and motherly love for him.

Ruki Mukami 

Ruki is Ichika's eldest adoptive son. At first, Ruki was a bit distrustful of his new adoptive mother because of his trust issues towards women after he was abandoned by his real mother, but eventually grew to respect her. He was actually surprised when he found out that she has distrust issues towards men and yet she was loving towards him and his brothers, but is understanding when Ichika didn't want to tell him the reason why.

Kou Mukami 

Kou is Ichika's second oldest adoptive son. Ichika is very kind to Kou and wanted to help him overcome his tragic past. She was also the one who taught him how to sing. Kou adores Ichika and loves her as a mother he always wanted, he always seeks her attention and whenever she visits, he would always run up to her to be the first to hug her. Because of this, out of all the Mukami brothers, she is closest to Kou the most because she knew what it's like to be used and only be liked for her looks due to her trauma.

Yuma Mukami 

Yuma is Ichika's third younger adoptive son. Yuma was at first distrustful of his new adoptive mother. But he soon learned that she once lived a normal human life before she met Karlheinz. After finding out she loves flowers, he began to plant some in his garden with her, seeing how she doesn't mind gardening and because of this, Yuma begins to enjoy her company as they would plant flowers or fruits and vegetables together whenever she visits.

Azusa Mukami 

Azusa is Ichika's youngest adoptive son. Ichika tried to help Azusa with his problem of feeling pleasure from pain. Azusa feels unease because he never had any parental love before in his whole life as a human, but after receiving motherly love from Ichika, he begins to crave for her love and is always happy whenever Ichika comes to visit.

Richter 

Richter is Ichika's brother-in-law. Ichika despises Richer for traumatizing the triplets by sleeping with Cordelia in front of them numerous times. However, she is unaware until later that she found out Richter has romantic feelings for her and is conflict on who he loves more: Ichika or Cordelia. When she found out, she didn't feel the same way due to her distrust of men after how she was treated in the past and remains loyal to Karlheinz.

Cordelia 

Cordelia and Ichika did not get along together. Ichika strongly disapproved of Cordelia's treatment towards the triplets and wants them to stay away from her as much as possible. The two wives were rivals of who was Karlheinz's favorite wife, though Cordelia was the one who started it, and Ichika always ignores her when it comes to it. But Karlheinz always favors Ichika over Cordelia, because of this, Ichika uses this to get Cordelia into trouble whenever she does something inappropriate to Ayato, Kanato and Laito, knowing he always sides with her. Since Ichika is more beautiful than Cordelia and gets more gifts and attention than she does, Cordelia easily became very jealous of her.

Beatrix  

Beatrix and Ichika did not get along together. While Ichika felt sorry for Beatrix due to her being bullied by Cordelia, she didn't like Beatrix favoring Shu over Reiji and they would often argue on Beatrix's treatment on the two older sons.

Christa 

Christa and Ichika did not get along together. Ichika did feel sorry for Christa due to her poor mental health because of Karlheinz and what he did to her that caused her to be in the state she was in. However, Ichika didn't like that Christa took it out on Subaru whenever she has her episodes.

Abilities:

Like all vampires, she has an inhuman strength as well as increased speed (less than a pureborn vampire), increased vision and hearing, and smell. Being a vampire, she also has fast healing, though it is slower than a pure blood.

Teleportation

She appears to be capable of teleporting from nowhere in an instant.

Other

Impure vampires do not have the same amount of skills like pure ones, nor do they possess their own magic, however, Karlheinz borrows some for her, such as a protective barrier and bat familiars.

However, due to being a former human, Ichika is quite used to things like daylight and human food.

• Ichika is the only wife who didn't come from a noble background and was a human.

• Ichika is a good swimmer after being taught by her father, and passes that knowledge to Ayato after saving him from drowning by Cordelia.

• According to Karlheinz, the Sakamaki and Mukami brothers, and Kino, Ichika's scent is as sweet as candy.

• Ichika has a beautiful singing voice, Karlheinz even said that she sounds like a siren singing.

• Ichika was only bitten twice by Karlheinz; the first time was in front of his younger brother out of jealousy and possessive when he saw Ritcher trying to charm her, and the second time was during the progress of turning her into a vampire.

• According to Karlheinz, Ichika's blood is the finest blood he has ever tasted.

• Ichika wears a beautiful golden ring with an enormous red ruby jewel that's shaped like a rose on her left ring finger, this represents how she belongs to Karlheinz forever.
