Today lunked with AY and I ajak-ed her to wear baju raya too so that we can take "raya pictures" :D

For dins we had some JNC!

To close off April: I had one bad day. But the rest was absolutely pleasant. Because of Raya, I got to spend more time with the family. Some highlights aside from Raya; Incubus, GPO, office dins that I was reluctant to go at first, the CSR. Great April, thank You.

28th April 2024, Sunday Listening: Feel Like I Do, Disclosure

Woke up at my staycashe stashe and the first order of business was going down for coffee and whitebox hehe

I also recorded a video of my sambae reunboxing and the room tour which God knows when I will actually post them but we'll seeeee.

Had a "photoshoot" later in the day for raya and it was my first time wearing this baju kurung and it was the most money Ive ever spent on a baju, honestly. It was so awkward because I genuinely suck at posing but I tried my best lol,

Ended the day with lunk at the johor shop in tams tuns where I had my usual delish bandung. Sirap bandung 5eva \o/

What a fun weekend! Im so glad :)

27th April 2024, Saturday Listening: Echo, Incubus

Full day!

a.m. - CSR day that took us all the way to Rawang 😮‍💨 My teammate was kind to drive, it was supposed to be the 3 of us, but one had to bail because of a production issue. It was a fun experience. Kechara gave us a list of grocers to pick up surpluses from. It sounded easy but it was exhausting because the grocers are far apart from each other so the long drives + weekend traffic made it extra draining.

p.m. (afternoon) - We ended close to 5pm.. Went straight to my staycashe spot, checked in and forced myself a quick nap but also was not able to make it to Jul's in Puchong because the traffic from KL would be close to 2 hours (considering that I also had to fetch 2121 for Incubus 😮‍💨). Ordered room service because I just realized I hadnt eaten since morning,

p.m. (evening) - Incubus babyyyyyy! the downside of it was we were late so I missed a lot of songs :( the traffic today was insane :(

2121 made up for it by showing the city after midnight and as a girl with a curfew, it was a real treat <3

Office dins. The bangi venue was not as near as I thought, it was at the negeri sembilan border. I legit crossed over the state. It was super far! But the night was alright, I genuinely enjoyed myself despite not having a "gang". My lead was kind enough to invite me sit at her table (where all the lady bosses are!) so I felt somewhat important, lol.

Also finally met up with some of our regional counterparts in person. Great night!

I reached home close to midnight.

Sent a shirt I managed to sell on my carousell to a student in UTP who requested I write him some "inspiring" notes but instead of that, I wrote him "tips" for his future working life 😂 Also listed my rarely worn pair of golf pants on my carousell. I am actively clearing my pile of clothes even though I do not own that many pieces of clothing in the first place. I just want a capsule wardrobe, sort of.

Stepped on the scale and Im at my ultimate lowest. It's perplexing. It also made me want to relapse (almost).

Had raya brunch with fana & bubu at BR. It was a fun catch up!

Went home, prep the vinyls for my carousell buyer, took a quick shower and left to 31's nenek's makan2 raya. Rembat random slippers to hang outside lol,

I also just realised that everybody went to the exhibishe which bums me out because no one informed me. Then I realised last time I was always the one inviting. I guess I have been forgotten while they move on with their lives. Good for them, hamdulillah. I just need to be okay with letting go of that era.

Anyway, chilled at the nenek's for awhile then the both of us left to OU for AK Noods \o/

My office laptop was giving me a hard time to connect to our home network >:( Decided to work offsite & dragged 2121 with me 😂

Stopped for a late lunk / early dins at wartek before continuing work at otwc,

& then came home to a package of the samfu jacket I bought for the dinner that Im forced to go to... but lowkey excited because I think the jacket is cute??

Ive been OD-ing on 31 these few days and the brat in me is enjoying it 😂

Went to ikea again after work for dins and browsing, at this point I feel like ikea is most definitely up there in our most frequent go-tos..

GPO day ⭐️ My initial wish was to shop because Ive never been there but the only stuff I bought was undies. Why oh whyyyyy. There weren't any interesting stuff at all.

We ended the day at trx because I wanted shake shack :P It was a fun Monday! Did a compilashe of the day because I specifically wanted to document this historical day (for me).

My glitter Vans remain unsold.. so I want to pass them to farah if she wants them? 😅 I genuinely love these because they are pretty but I dont wear them often enough.. I originally ordered these from Aims when she was in LDN. Rare stuff!

I stayed home all day today because tomorrow I will be going to genting \o/ My last time there was when I was 15!

No Raya-ing at all today because my family and I are recuperating from the previous 2 days 😅 So instead, I did myself some decluttering. I have all these boxes..

Why do we tend to keep the boxes when we know we're not going to go back to them anyway??

But also these sony ericsson babies <3 My brother gave them to me when I was in uni and not gona lie having keypads are the best!

Also was decluttering my older doodles and came across one of my faves which is very fitting for this season hehe,

While I was resting at home, 2121 was out and about with the fam for raya and his first stop was kubur atok;

After Maghrib I dropped off some of yesterday's bolognaise I made at 2121's before going to Ikea to buy myself that wardrobe organizer thing. I still need to clear most of my older clothes though.

Syawal day 2! 🌙

Today my big sister invited us to their new place so I decided to make my gluten-free, low fodmap bolognaise as a housewarming meal :D

Her flat is very unique. I quite like it, the vibe kind of reminds me of going on a holiday.

Today's fit was the super cheap kebaya I got from Aeon, I am obsessed ✨

In the evening our uncle Pak Uda wanted to stop by so I had to do another round of prep for the house. It was truly an exhausting day 2 😮‍💨

Selamat Hari Raya!! 🌙

Last night my brother's family came over to play mercun and bunga api, it always cracks me up because it's always the kids' parents who get more excited than the actual kids 😂

Today we started with Pak Lai's at Kg Tunku and then to my birthplace Taman Tun for Pak Pin hehe. Home and rested and napped and to Kayangan Heights for Pak Cik Udin's. It was a great family time <3

I love this picture so much because you could tell which one is anak bapak and which one is anak mak 😂

2121 sent me their family raya photo too and they all look so lovely <3 For dins 2121 and I met up and we went to Ikea lol. It was a great nightcap for an equally great beginning of Syawal. Hamdulillah :)

9th April 2024, Tuesday Listening: Tiada Kata Secantik Bahasa

Received advanced invitation to a raya open house of a relative. In all honesty, I was not big on family events until I met 2121. Truth be told, the entire episode made me closer to my family. It was a huge metaphorical slap of realisation for sure. At the end of the day, it's my Dad, Mom, and gege that I go back to.

Today was mostly tidying up the house for raya tomorrow hehe.

This ramadan has been great despite the rocky first night and one bad Friday. Overall, I am mega grateful for getting to spend it again with my folks. I organized the colour for our raya day 1 around the baju that my Mom would be wearing (which was bought by my SIL). I just want the 4 of us to match for a pretty picture 😂

I dont think anyone celebrating Raya is on a working mode anymore, I was the only malay person working today and there was zero traffic \o/

Dad switched on the raya lights already :) So happy. So thankful. This season always makes me feel nostalgic. I get transported back to my childhood immediately.
