What are Antioxidants and how RTB Kombucha Helps?
Over the past decade, the term “antioxidant” has basically become the most hyped term for health. Ask someone to explain why a superfood is super? Antioxidants.
How to reduce inflammation in the body? Antioxidants.
How to prevent disease? Antioxidants.
But people often ask me this question: What are antioxidants?
Antioxidants (Good guys) are substances that protect your cells from the harmful effects of molecules called
free radicals (the “bad guys”).
Think of a free radical as a pinball speeding around inside our body, constantly smashing into other cells, interrupting normal cell functioning. The cells can’t do their jobs properly because these guys keep storming the gates. If the body isn’t able to defend itself and the free-radical production becomes excessive, it leads to damage that contributes to aging (yes, including wrinkles), heart disease, cancer and other diseases.
Antioxidants are the first line of defense to prevent that from happening.  Let us think of them as little molecules flying through our bloodstreams wearing capes, like superheroes. When they encounter free radicals, they neutralize them (by using their powers to do things like donate electrons to balance out the unpaired electrons that cause the free radicals to wreak havoc.

Discriminating foods based on Carbohydrates makes me real unhappy!!
Someone, who has a fat loss goal, brown rice or white rice, is not going to make any difference. “CALORIE DEFICIT” is the secret here.Perpetuated myths lead people to believe they must exclude their favorite foods such as rice, bread, grains, potato, and many other foods and replace them with whole wheat/whole vegetable versions to lose weight or improve overall health.

HOW MUCH CAFFEINE DOES KOMBUCHA USUALLY CONTAIN?
Kombucha is caffeinated because the tea leaves used to make kombucha (black, green, white, oolong) naturally contain caffeine. Although caffeine is naturally found in kombucha, it is extremely minimal, averaging around just 10 mg per serving – barely noticeable to even those sensitive to caffeine. But if a cup of tea has around 45 mg of caffeine and RTB kombucha contains around 10 mg, what happens to the other 35 mg? Well, the fermentation process naturally reduces the amount of caffeine! The longer the kombucha is left to ferment, the more caffeine is consumed by yeast and bacteria. #GETGOODGUT #RTBFERMENTS
