Receiving 71/101 (70.3%) of the votes, Lesley Huckleberry is our sixth-generation heir! Thanks to everyone who voted-- I definitely didn’t expect to break 100. I still have to tie up some loose ends before passing the neighborhood on, but rest assured, the legacy will continue. Tune in to @ejsims’ blog later this summer for the next generation!

A much bigger moment-- one that I put off as long as possible-- follows. It’s time for our heiress to become an elder. I’d make a comment about time flying, but who are we kidding, I’ve been hogging this neighborhood for over a year now.

We’ll definitely see them visiting in other households, but this is technically goodbye to our heirs! 

I still have some small things to get in order before I’m ready to zip up the neighborhood, so the heir poll will come after I’ve posted the whole rotation. I’m not sure I dazzled anyone with my generation, but I had a lot of fun. I’m glad to have been a part of this, even if it took me much, much longer than expected.

Despite very few of the lots having room, most households in the neighborhood have been bugging me nonstop about buying cars. In this case I conceded, so now the Huckleberrys have a garage and a minivan. What luxury!

The lovely couple have an exceedingly romantic date at the diner.

These shots are framed pretty awkwardly, but I’m always excited to see Lesley use her bass corner, so look at them anyway!

Taking Olivia out for some karaoke felt like a pretty strong sendoff for her. She managed to gain her final point of charisma, so she’s ready for a promotion any day now!

Unlike her sister, Lesley is nearing adulthood with no romantic prospects. She heads down to the Cool Teen Gas Station to find someone she can get along with. This guy seems to meet the minimum requirements.

Gillian and Corinne bond over their shared interests in fashion and the paranormal.

The party still ends up a success. It’s nice to see the triplets all together, even if they huddle around the gaming console at every event.

The same can’t be said about Brian and Erinella. Apparently petty catfights really work for Olivia...

The werewolves kind of stole the show, but we can rest easy knowing that Olivia made it to elderhood without having a breakdown about her lack of spouse. This newfound maturity looks good on her!
