This song right here gives me so many Karra feels...

For those that don't know: Karra is a Draenei from alternate Draenor and the daughter of Yrel from an unknown father. Yrel essentially left her with the priests and priestesses of the Temple of Karabor to raise her, going off to lead the rest of the Draenei. Karra was told her entire life that she was destined to become a powerful paladin like her mom, even as she struggled with harnessing the power of the Light as a child.

When she was still fairly young, she started hearing whispers on the wind. She was told by the priests that were raising her that she was hearing the Light and that meant that soon she would come into her own power. However Karra had a feeling that this wasn't the case, but pushed down her doubts in order to try and make her mother proud.

It wasn't until she had visited the Shadowmoon orcs that she learned differently. One of the shamans, an orc name Rozek Blackwolf, told her that he could feel her connection to the elements. That the faint whispers she was hearing was actually the elemental spirits of Draenor. This scared Karra, who had been taught that the Light was the only path for her, and so she tried to ignore the whispers as she struggled to harness the Light and become what she felt she was meant to be.

However she couldn't keep denying how the whispers of the elements pulled at her, feeling that she didn't belong at the Temple at all, but out in the wilds of the world. When she was a teenager she started sneaking out of the Temple. She went back to the village where Rozek lived and asked him to teach her how to listen to the elements.

Learning how to harness the power of the elements came very easy to Karra, much to hers and Rozek's delight. And it actually wasn't long after this that the two fell in love and started a romantic relationship, Rozek gladly calling Karra his mate.

When Yrel discovered that Karra was not only learning shamanism but was also in a romantic relationship with an orc, the paladin forbade Karra from leaving the Temple. Karra, in rebellion, ran away from the Temple, returning to the village and Rozek. With the help of the Shadowmoon clan leader, the pair were hidden away in one of the more remote villages, far from the Temple. It was believed that Karra had died in the wilds of Shadowmoon Valley.

So, yeah, this gives me huge Karra feels...especially when she was trying to ignore the whispers and calls of the elements to try and walk a path that was never hers to begin with.
