A Thirsty Occurrence {Mad-Lib Drabble}

Mary Sue Bird was late, which was very unlike her. Any moment now, Stella expected to see her bounce up, her damp hair streaming behind her and her troubled eyes aglow.

Stella heard footsteps, but they seemed rather blue for a delicate and broad girl like Mary Sue Bird, whose tread was ill. She turned around and found Paine staring at her.

"What are you doing here?" Paine said diagonally. "I thought you said you didn't want to see me again."

Stella had said that, but now she was beginning to wish she hadn't acted so girlishly. "Mary Sue Bird asked to meet me here." As she gazed at Paine, her hair began to throb mockingly.

"Oh," Paine said, knowingly. "I'll just go then."

"Wait," Stella said and caught Paine by her arm. "I was wrong. I still love you. Can you ever forgive me?"

"Yes," Paine said, smiling. They wrapped their arms around each other and kissed, like a hero saving the day.

From behind a candy, Mary Sue Bird watched with a grieving light in her giant eyes. She took a list out of her pocket, and checked off "Stella/Paine". Then, she skipped off to help an embittered man find love again, just as soon as she'd saved the lion from extinction.

She quickly ran with fast pace from some huge fiends nearby, chasing the poor little girl one end to the other, until Mocchi bumped into a form of leather black, hitting her nose as she looked up. 

"Ow, kupo, kupo?"

Crimson dull hues glanced at the older female of the same colors, quickly speaking. 

"T-There's fiends over there, huge!" 

Of course, those fiends were huge in the young moogle girl's perspective, but otherwise, they should be of normality.

Lifting a lily to her nose, the pinkette darkened her vision of the world and inhaled deeply. When allowing her lids to open once more, she noticed a rather dark clothed figure before her. "It contrasts with your attire, kupo," she stated in a tone drowned in halcyon as she lifted the flower to the female.
