Royal Enfield Debuts Phoenix Custom at Customfest 2024 in Indonesia
Royal Enfield, in partnership with AMS Garage, unveiled their first Phoenix customized motorcycle at the 2024 Customfest. This event took place on October 5-6 at the Jogja Expo Center (JEC Hall) in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The Phoenix is a customized version of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, a bike that encapsulates AMS Garage’s unique style while representing the traditional “Bagger” concept. This motorcycle is not only a masterpiece of customization but also reflects the vibrant custom culture that thrives in Indonesia.
The Phoenix: A Masterpiece of Custom Craftsmanship
AMS Garage’s Phoenix is a brilliant example of what custom motorcycles can become when artistic freedom is combined with technical expertise. Inspired by the traditional “Bagger” style, this motorcycle symbolizes the creativity of Indonesia’s custom motorcycle culture. Royal Enfield and AMS Garage worked closely to bring the Phoenix to life, using the Super Meteor 650 as the foundation. The frame was carefully reworked, with every detail receiving meticulous attention to showcase the craftsmanship that AMS Garage is known for.
Adrian Sellers, Head of Custom & Motorsport at Royal Enfield, highlighted the significance of Indonesia’s custom motorcycle scene. He said, “There is a very creative ecosystem for custom here in Indonesia, and it’s provided the perfect opportunity for Royal Enfield to push for boundaries of what can be done on our motorbikes.” This sentiment reflects Royal Enfield’s commitment to encouraging creativity within Indonesia’s motorcycle community.
Technical Customizations and Style Elements
The Phoenix is unlike any other motorcycle because it features several specific technical modifications. One standout feature is the front suspension, which was built from scratch. This custom suspension integrates an air suspension system that helps maintain the bike’s long and low stance, a signature of the traditional Bagger design. The air suspension not only adds to the bike’s aesthetic but also enhances its functionality by providing a smoother ride.
In addition to the custom suspension, the Phoenix features a hardtail frame, which gives the bike its classic “chopper” look. This frame choice adds to the bike’s traditional appeal, while the modern enhancements make it a one-of-a-kind creation. The tank, saddlebag, rear fender, and nearly every part of the aluminum bodywork have been customized by AMS Garage, showcasing their mastery of craftsmanship. Each piece of metalwork shines with a level of expertise that makes the Phoenix stand out in a crowd of custom motorcycles.
The Meaning of "Phoenix"
The name “Phoenix” is deeply symbolic, drawing from Greek mythology, where the Phoenix represents rebirth and renewal. This is fitting for the motorcycle, as it represents a rebirth of Royal Enfield’s classic design, reimagined through contemporary techniques. The Phoenix reflects the commitment of Royal Enfield and AMS Garage to Indonesia’s custom motorcycle scene and to pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved through collaboration.
Royal Enfield’s Long-Term Vision
The unveiling of the Phoenix at Customfest 2024 marks a major milestone in Royal Enfield’s relationship with Indonesia’s custom motorcycle community. According to Adrian Sellers, Royal Enfield’s long-term commitment to Customfest is part of a broader program aimed at supporting local custom builders. The goal is to inspire both builders and enthusiasts, helping to foster creativity and innovation within the local custom motorcycle scene.
Sellers explained, “Our long-term commitment to Customfest forms part of the Royal Enfield program to help Indonesian para builders, who can inspire both builders and communities in furthering their ideas, as well as inspiring the locals and other two-wheeled fans.” This statement reinforces Royal Enfield’s dedication to supporting Indonesia’s custom builders and helping the local scene grow.
Other Custom Builds by Royal Enfield at Customfest 2024
In addition to the Phoenix, Royal Enfield showcased several other custom builds at Customfest 2024. One standout was the “Thanks” by Thrive, an artistic custom motorcycle inspired by Royal Enfield’s rich heritage. Another notable build was the “Classic 500 Bobber” by Smoked Garage, which transformed the Classic 500 into a sleek bobber-style bike.
Royal Enfield also presented the “Trackmaster” and “Elenor Tracker” by Frontwheels Garage, both of which take a sportier, more rugged approach to custom motorcycle design. These builds reflect the core values of Royal Enfield: exploration and creativity. Each custom build serves as a reminder of the endless possibilities in motorcycle customization, where craftsmanship meets creativity to produce unique machines.
What is Customfest 2024?
Customfest is one of the most important events for custom motorcycles in Indonesia, and the 2024 edition was no exception. The event is a platform for builders, enthusiasts, and motorcycle fans to come together and celebrate the art of motorcycle customization. It’s a showcase of innovation, creativity, and craftsmanship, where builders can display their latest works and share ideas with others in the custom community.
Customfest isn’t just an exhibition; it’s a meeting place for people who appreciate the artistry behind custom motorcycles. Events like Customfest provide motorcycle enthusiasts with the opportunity to see firsthand what can be achieved when creativity and technical skill come together. It pushes the boundaries of what motorcycles can be, transforming them from simple modes of transportation into true works of art.
The Importance of Custom Culture in Indonesia
Indonesia has a thriving custom motorcycle culture, and events like Customfest help to highlight the immense talent within the country. Builders like AMS Garage, Thrive, and Smoked Garage are at the forefront of this movement, creating motorcycles that not only reflect their personal styles but also contribute to the larger custom scene.
Royal Enfield’s involvement in Customfest and its collaborations with local builders demonstrate its commitment to supporting this creative ecosystem. By working with local builders and participating in events like Customfest, Royal Enfield is helping to promote the growth of custom culture in Indonesia and encouraging more people to explore the possibilities of motorcycle customization.
Conclusion
The Phoenix, a custom motorcycle created by AMS Garage and Royal Enfield, is a testament to the creativity and craftsmanship that define Indonesia’s custom motorcycle scene. With its unique design and technical customizations, the Phoenix stands as a symbol of the collaboration between two creative forces. The unveiling of the Phoenix at Customfest 2024 marks a significant moment for Royal Enfield, as it continues to support and inspire the local custom motorcycle community.
Royal Enfield’s presence at Customfest 2024, along with its other custom builds, shows its dedication to pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved in motorcycle customization. By partnering with talented builders like AMS Garage, Royal Enfield is helping to foster a culture of innovation and creativity that will continue to grow and inspire future generations of custom motorcycle enthusiasts.

Love Again #LN4
PAIRING: lando norris x wolff reader! Daniel Ricciardo x wolff reader! platonic only
SUMMARY: part 2 to sweetest pie, lando norris and y/n wolff a step closer to a newly found friendship but what does lando know about her?
WARNING: just fluff + more (see for yourself)
FC: lalalalisa_m on ig
‿︵‿︵୨˚̣̣̣͙୧ - - ୨˚̣̣̣͙୧‿︵‿︵
after monaco grand prix
you are currently packing up your things to head home, the event was done and dusted, another verstappen win of course, it did not fazed you at all.
of course, you didn’t bring much but accompanying your family out here for 3 straight days, you had to bring your laptop along to sneak in some edits on your on-going projects.
daniel had gone back with heidi as he plans to attend the after party, of course he invited you, but you weren’t really interested in that life and knowing you’re their opponent team principal daughter, it probably will not be a good image.
Though, your dad did tell you multiple times whatever you’re doing it will never affect him as he does not intend to prohibit you to do things just because you’re his daughter.
“y/n, your phone keeps beeping. you should check it” george walked towards you with your phone in hand. you had to borrow george’s charger as your phone had died mid researching.
“oh, thanks George! heading home straight away?”
“yeah, carmen booked a 4 star restaurant for dinner, will probably need that after today’s result”
“you did great by the way, don’t dwell too much.” you tapped his shoulder and smiled
george smiled , bid his goodbye and made his way towards carmen, which she waved towards you and you did the same
you looked at the notifications you’ve received and laughed, of course a text from norris. ever-since, the interaction the both of you had, you’ve gotten closer even though that literally happened 2 days ago.
he is closer to your age, which is a pros because the both of you had similar humour and would share unfunny memes to each other which ONLY the both of you are able to understand.
you’ve finished packing, and was currently just waiting for your dad to finish his briefing towards the engineers. susie and jack had went off earlier, you agreed on waiting for your dad, though agreeing on that means he’ll be the one riding your motorbike and you’ll be a pillion (which you hate).
thus, while waiting for your dad, you took the time to respond to lando’s texts.
a/n : i don’t know why the emojis aren’t showing up 😭
Great, now you have a party to attend to.
“done with the packing?” you heard your dad’s voice
“yeah, taking my bike?” you asked while walking behind your dad following his pace
“of course honey, keys please”
you gave your dad your keys and walked towards your motorbike.
“the colour’s great, what’s the colour of your cafe racer back in singapore?”
“of course, you’re always getting the ugly colour papa. you have to let me know on the colours availability next time, it’s black, the other choices they had weren’t my taste. it’s probably yours though, silver just like the vintage cruiser triumph back home.”
your dad had a motorbike back home kept for you in any case you’re interested of inheriting it from him, but it wasn’t really up to your taste. A royal enfield, though is up to your taste.
danielricciardo: FOUL. y/nwolff not trusting toto wolff????????
georgerussell63: bossman reminiscing youth
landonorris: i’m next
‿︵‿︵୨˚̣̣̣͙୧ - - ୨˚̣̣̣͙୧‿︵‿︵
2245HRS
“someone’s here for you darling” you heard susie voice came from the kitchen
it’s only 1045, why the fuck is lando here already. you’re literally still doing your makeup, leaving with blusher and setting your face.
“i’m still not done yet, can you let him know?” you shouted
“yeah about that, too late y/n” your door swing open, with lando showing up in your childhood room
“you’re early? did you speak to my dad? pissed your pants, yet?”
“ha ha funny. he’s not as scary as I thought of him to be” he took a seat on the edge of your bed
“he’s a great person norris, just team principle things huh?” shifting your chair towards him
“you look great, are you done though?” lando asked you while looking around your room
“yeah just left to set my makeup, don’t touch that” you quickly stood up and snatched the box away from Lando’s grip
“woah woah, what’s that about?”
“nothing it’s just something, thought i threw it away”
lando nodded but in his head, he was deadly curious on the reaction that you gave him, it was just a plain box with the letter m graving, what could the content in the box even possibly be?
“let’s get going, i’m done. my ride or yours?” you turned to lando, holding your keys.
“mine of course, i’m a gentleman”
“yeah, in that fiat jolly of yours?”
“fine, yours then” great.
you went into your dad office, took a extra helmet and gave to lando
“you’ll need this, you’re behind.”
and with that gesture, you made lando’s heart beat faster
‿︵‿︵୨˚̣̣̣͙୧ - - ୨˚̣̣̣͙୧‿︵‿︵
AFTER PARTY
you were currently downing your whatever number of shots, while laughing at lando’s dance move with Carl’s
lando of course, didn’t drink much, prob a glass or two but you, you had quite a lot. Though, you’ll wanna thank your best friend for regularly having drinking sessions in the both of your apartment because this did improve your alcohol intake.
“you go to parties regularly?” heidi sat beside you, and questioned you
you shooked your head
“the alcohol intake speaks otherwise” the both of you laughed
“well, school stress helps ALOT”
you weren’t that close to any of the wags except heidi, she’s literally like a elder sister to you, checking up on you regularly and more. She’s the exact form of daniel just in a female form
“hey, you okay? feeling tipsy?” Lando approached you, taking a seat beside you which led to some of the drivers eyeing each other at the close contact the both of you had
“I’m Okay, slightly tipsy. You okay with riding the bike home, i’ll probably be better pillioned, if you aren’t, i’ll just let my dad know, he’ll probably pick us up”
“ woah, i’m okay with riding home. much better, i do not want toto to think badly of myself. just try and sober up a-bit alright, i’ll get a glass of water for you, stay here”
you agreed and leaned your head back but you then realised the stares you had from daniel, heidi, carlos and the others.
“what?”
“is something going on between the two of you?” charles questioned with that accent of his
“just friends”
“he picked you up today? toto did not say anything to lando?” this time, daniel
you shooked your head, “what’s wrong guys? is there’s something wrong?”
all of them shooked their head and laughed, “we’re just shocked, you’re not that easy to talk to. I’m amazed lando got you smitten over him”
carlos, said out loud handing you a shot.
“me? smitten?” rolling your eyes, downing the shot
before you’re able to down the shot, someone snatched the shot glass away from you
“what the fu-mick?” this time heidi held your hand tightly.
“hey, am i late? sorry y/n, promised toto you shouldn’t drink too much“ there stood in front you was Mick Schumacher smiling widely at you and lando arriving to the scene feeling the tense air between you and mick.
—✩࿐ end note: that’s all for part 2 of sweetest pie, if you haven’t read part one please do!!!!! i’ll do a part three soon, but in the mean time i hope you enjoy this ♥️

The coolest bike at the drags last night was this custom Virago 250. I thought our Royal Enfields might have been the most unlikely of bikes but there were adventure bikes, vintage bikes and lots of cruisers amongst the sports bikes. A few sub 10 second passes were very impressive with terminal speeds of 250kmh+ #drags #chasingtenths #yamaha #viragocustom (at Perth Motoplex) https://www.instagram.com/p/Co-4OtLhHZd/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Gets Aurora Colour Variant At Rs 2.20 Lakh
Royal Enfield has widened the Meteor 350 range by launching the new Aurora variant of the cruiser.
It gets a couple of changes over other variants of the bike and comes with a price tag of Rs. 2,19,900 (ex-showroom, Chennai) which places it between the Stellar and Supernova trims of the Meteor 350.
RE Meteor 350 Thoroughly Overhauled
The new Aurora variant of the Meteor 350 comes equipped with spoke wheels and tube tyres, unlike other versions which get alloy wheels and tubeless rubbers.
Moreover, the engine case, exhaust system, and a few other components have been bestowed with chrome finishing. All of this is done to enhance the retro appeal of the bike.

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Aurora continues to receive the same J-series underpinnings, the 349 cc air-cooled, long-stroke engine, with 20.2 bhp and 2.75 kgm of torque, mated to a five-speed transmission.
What’s new with Aurora trim?
The trim introduces three new colourways and also debuts LED headlights to the range. Royal Enfield might make the latter feature standard with this range in the future.

maybe this is a weird question but you're the first person I can think of for a not-cis-man motorcyclist: what kind of bike is your starter bike? do you have an opinion on how heavy a starter bike should be? I'm looking at a Honda Shadow Aero 745cc (or practically any cruiser) for my first bike but my dad INSISTS (most likely because I'm afab) that it's WAY too heavy For Me Personally despite being considered a good starter bike and I'd prefer an opinion from someone who's Not A Cis Man
EEEEEEE THANK YOU FOR ASKING! I'm so glad you thought of me c: <3
I DO have an opinion, and it's this: you should be able to pick up your starter bike twice in a row without injury. Why? Because you're going to drop it! And if you're really learning, you're probably going to drop it a lot. You need to be able to pick up your bike quickly and confidently, even if it's on your bad side, in an awkward place, and your hands and knees are bruised, otherwise you are extremely likely to find yourself in a lot of trouble.
My beloved Yamaha XT250 weighs a fairylike 291 pounds, which I can pick up 3 times in a row if need be.
Now, for contrast, a quick google search indicates that a Honda Shadow Aero 750 weighs 560 pounds. That's more more than a CBR600RR (my long-term goal bike) WITH me on top, in full gear, after a heavy dinner! Even with the considerably less 'tippy' geometry of a cruiser, that's very heavy.
I also just generally don't trust anyone who calls anything over 400cc a 'starter bike.' 750 is a HUGE engine that absolutely no beginner needs, and learning on something so heavy, powerful, and un-maneuverable (not to mention expensive) won't do you any favors with developing the skills and good habits that could save your life down the line. That's one thing for a retiree, but for anyone else? I don't consider it a good idea
Unfortunately I don't know much about cruisers, so I can't give you much more than that, but you might wanna look into a Royal Enfield Classic 350! They're gorgeous, good quality, and at $4,699 MSRP there literally is no better value for money on the market right now

Let me put the new bikes in a nutshell before we kick out 2024.
The highlight of the available list of the motorcycles set to be rolled over to 2025 will include, sport bikes, adventure touring, and electric motorcycles among other things.
Let’s begin!
10. CFMOTO 675SS — A New Challenger in the Sports Bike Arena
CFMOTO has always been a brand that provides its customers with strong bikes at affordable prices, and the 675SS is no different. This is a sports bike that has been modified, inspired by the Triumph Daytona 675R, and powered by a three-cylinder engine with a rev limit of over 11,000 RPM. The 408-pound 675SS is not only quick but also lightweight, having a 95-horsepower engine and deluxe electronic gears such as a lap timer, traction control, and quickshifter that add to its impressive performance.
Why It’s Exciting: 675SS is going to bring a new sports bike that will be a competitor to the mid-range ones and it will start with its really functional features and its offered price. This bike’s intense appearance and the use of its race technology definitely distinguish it as top two-generous hotrod elements for riders who prefer to battle in both the race and streets.
9. KTM 990 RC — A Powerful Twin-Cylinder Sports Bike
KTM indeed is one of the leaders when it comes to creating performance bikes, and the 2025 KTM 990 RC is the proof of that. Driven by a 947cc dual-cylinder engine, this 990 RC is likely to produce 126 Hp, having a maximum velocity that matches the other similar high-end models. Along with the MotoGP-inspiration, the 990 RC has a WP APEX adjustable suspension and cast aluminum wheels that are very light, which show that this bike is ready to take on bikes such as the Ducati Panigale.
Why It’s Exciting: The KTM 990 RC is the much-awaited bike by a lot of enthusiasts. This is a bike that is for the road but at the same time has a real potential for racing. Its hostile ergonomics and cutting-edge features are making it a real winner in this particular category.
8. BMW R 1300 GS Adventure — Unstoppable Adventure Touring
The BMW R 1300 GS Adventure is the touring partner for adventure riders for 2025 The GS Adventure is powered by a huge 7.9-gallon fuel tank, making for long stints without having to stop for gas. It is powered by a 1,300cc boxer producing 145 horsepower and 110 lb-ft of torque. The electronically controlled suspension offers adjustable damping and spring rates, so you get a comfortable ride on the highway and off the beaten path.
Why It’s Exciting: The extended tank range, high-end electronics and rugged chassis of the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure means this bike is built for the long haul. This is the bike that will be your supporting hand for adventure riders who like to explore remote areas.
7. Buell Super Cruiser — The Sporty American Cruiser
Introducing the 2025 Buell Super Cruiser: a new kind of cruiser. Powered by a V-Twin engine that generates 175 horsepower and 101 lb-ft of torque, the Super Cruiser offers power and the sort of performance that’s all too rare in the cruiser class. Even better, it has a lightweight design — with carbon fiber components and a rigid chassis, the bike tips the scales at just 450 pounds. This is not some cruiser that just looks fast — it is fast.
Why It’s Exciting: The Super Cruiser should be the sportiest American cruiser available. Combining its high-revving 1190cc powerplant and viscous styling, Buell has produced a bike that’s just as exciting to ride as it is to gaze at.
6. Royal Enfield Electric Bike — A Retro Futurist’s Dream
Now over a century old, Royal Enfield returns to its electric roots in 2025 with an all-new model, the purpose-built Light 1. This Royal Enfield Electric Bike mixes retro style with modern electric tech. While details are still thin at the moment, the bike is rumored to come equipped with fast charging, a fixed battery. The move is part of an anticipated shift from the brand as it addresses the expanding electric market.
Why It’s Exciting: Royal Enfield is known for making timeless, retro motorcycles. An electric model promises to maintain that classic goodness, but with the advantages of electric-power — what could be better for omnimodal urban commutes or weekend excursions to the next town over?
The highlight of the available list of the motorcycles set to be rolled over to 2025 will include, sport bikes, adventure touring, and electric motorcycles among other things
5. Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX – More Power, More Fun
Kawasaki is taking its Ninja 1000SX and making it the 1100SX, with a beefier 1,099cc engine. Set to make about 134 horsepower, this new Ninja should boast both better performance and a higher top speed than the previous Ninja. With a higher sport-touring ratio and more torque, it’s a do-it-all machine, whether you’re slicing up the twisties or putting in the miles on the highway.
Why It’s Exciting: Kawasaki is known for its reliable, high-performance bikes, and the Ninja 1100SX is no exception. This upgrade is perfect for riders looking for a versatile sport-tourer with more power and refinement.
4. Honda Rebel 1100 — A New Chapter for the Iconic Cruiser
2025 Honda Rebel 1100 Aimed To Have More Power And New Features The Rebel 1100 cranks out 87.2 horsepower, courtesy of an updated 1,083cc V-Twin engine. In addition to the new trims, the bike will get a fully automatic version intended for touring. With its smooth handling and accessible power, the Rebel 1100 is still one of the best cruiser offerings out there.
Why It’s Exciting: With its classic cruiser looks and modern updates, the Honda Rebel 1100 is ready to appeal to a broader range of riders. The automatic-only trim is a standout feature, making it an attractive option for those who prefer a more relaxed riding experience.
3. Ducati Panigale V2 Successor — The Future of Ducati’s Twin-Cylinder Superbike
Ducati’s Panigale V2 has been an awesome hit for several years already; a successor is slated to arrive in 2025 that will take over. Although the information is still unfolding, the forthcoming two-wheeler will be lighter on the pocket and marginally less potent than its predecessor. The 2025 model will sport a refined power delivery better suited for an accessible riding experience with an output of 111–122 horsepower.
