Roxana Valiente.  One of my major headcanons for my Transformers Nexus universe that Roxie is a techno-organic. Her audial receptors were badly damaged as it was nothing that her Guardian: Drift, nor the Nexus’ Medical Officers, could do to repair the damage. Nobody knows the cause of the damage that has lasting permanent effect that her audial receptors deem irreparable, which her condition was stated as “profound deaf and hearing impaired” by ‘human’ medical doctors. Roxie had daily struggles with her hearing and relied heavily on hearing aids for sounds. Sometimes it works but not always 100%. She does not like loud screeching noises, shouting or whistling, but she does develop anxiety when the noise level deems too high during tests that put her in extreme distress. After Roxie and Drift joined Elita Prime's Nexus team; Ratchet and Nautica worked together on a project to develop custom-built and improved, in their words, hearing aids with cybertronian technology. They took notes from Drift who mentioned Roxie's preferences tailored to her comforts. Ratchet had to install a tracking device which reserve ONLY for situational incase Roxie gets lost or being hunted as the Nexus expresses concerns for Roxie's safety (when she's left alone) due to the Decepticons and the DJD or a rogue bot (cough Pharma cough) spark interests in getting their hands on a techno-organic oops got carried away when I was supposed to put them in a planned headcanon post someday. Roxie’s hearing impairment are heavily based on my own disability and what I went through irl. Went searching for Hearing Aids ccs for the Sims 4 and saw this post [LINK]. To come across these ccs made me happy that I finally got what I needed for Roxie.
