Unite - What's a Pokemon IRL event you might like to run someday?

Anon, I'm going to be honest. I have never run an event in my life, have low energy, and suck at communicating. If I ever run an event, it will be far in the future.

That said, I do have some ideas.

A high stakes event! That I cannot detail because of SPOILERS. We are no where near when it would happen, but I imagine it would be like Unova Freeze?

A possible Rotomblr Miitopia (Rotopia?) playthrough! I have the game and Mii-making skills. No idea how I'd do this, or even if I'd do this, but it's there.

There's a few more ideas, but I don't want to get too ahead of myself.

   THERE WAS GENUINE CONTEMPLATION OVER THE IDEA, as the young man rested a hand beneath his very chin. Not a chuckle, not a quiet huff of breath.    Proving itself to be USEFUL in many ways, it goes without saying that he might have taken his height for granted over the past years. Having rather quickly SPROUTED a good few feet during puberty itself, so had it quickly proven itself to be its own TOOL OF INTIMIDATION. Other than his fists, that is. Both which certainly proved to be necessities themselves, as he slowly-- but steadily enough worked through the ranks themselves as the Dojima family’s own muscle. Often times, being made to feel that he was still struggling his way through the first level of a high storey building. But not necessarily minding it, as he dutifully attempted to follow in the footsteps of his CAPTAIN. For no matter how long it would take both he and his OATH BROTHER to do so, they would get there together eventually. They would REACH THE VERY TOP together-- so long as they continued to believe and worked hard.

   Having witnessed Elizabeth herself take more than a few LEAPS just to get to whatever it is that she wanted, he would certainly admire her tenacity when doing so. And whilst not necessarily mirroring the playful gleam in her own eyes, a slight curl could be seen forming upon his own lips in return.

   “I wouldn’t mind, if it would offer a new perspective on things.”

What hair products do you use on your hair? (ps what color is it now?)

Man. A ton of stuff?

1. Dry Shampoo, because the less you wash it, the less you rinse the toner out. I use Dove’s Dry Shampoo aerosol and Verb’s powder dry shampoo interchangeably. I used to use Alterna’s Beach Bamboo Dry shampoo, but they don’t make it anymore, which sucks, because it was unbeatable. I’ve tried sooo many other types, Klorane, Garnier, Living Proof, Bumble & Bumble, Batiste, Ro + Co, Elizabeth & James--I don’t like any of them. Living Proof would maybe be okay, except it smells TERRIBLE imho. 

2. Shampoo -- two types, one to take the brass out, and one that’s color safe. I’m using dpHUE’s Cool Blonde Shampoo now, and Verb’s Hydrating Shampoo. I’m not wedded to anything here. If people have recommendations, I’m glad to try it. I wash my hair about once a week, and I alternate.

3. Hair Masks -- I have Olaplex, but I often forget to use it because you have to leave it in for ten minutes. I also got a sample of Rotopia from my last hair salon, but I rely pretty heavily on Phytocitrus’s Color Protect Mask. I got it as a sephora sample about 7 years ago now when I first started bleaching my hair platinum, and I just put it in on a whim, and it was the first time my hair actually felt good in months, so I’ve been a devotee ever since. I often mask rather than condition, but if I do, I use LiQWD’s Professional Deep Condition.

4. Anti-breakage products -- I didn’t really ever have breakage until last August, when I first moved back to Brooklyn and the first salon I went to FUCKED UP my hair, but I’ve also been pretty liberal with Bumble & Bumble’s Mending Complex which has of course, been discontinued. After the horrible breakage incident of August, I started using Redken’s Anti-Snap.

5. Styling Products - Evo’s Love Touch Shine Spray, Herbivore Botanical’s Sea Salt Spray, Bumble & Bumble’s Heat Primer--depending on what I’m doing.

So, a lot basically? All of this stuff gets used regularly. Doing this to your hair is not for the faint of heart, lol. Also, currently it’s an ash blue ombre, although I don’t think you can tell so well in the picture below.
