AS FILHAS DO FOGO (1978) dir. Walter Hugo Khouri Ana, a student living in São Paulo, goes to Gramado, a city in the South of Brazil, to visit a friend/lover of hers named Diana. Together, the two meet Dagmar, an odd older woman who engages with strange experiments in parapsychology in her many attempts to capture the voices of the dead.
