#Mermay Day 9: Dib explaining some of the things he learned/figured out while at the beach. He has gills on his ribs and there's no issues from the when he's breathing air. But they do feeling kinda sensitive when he lays on them. He's glad that he was wearing shirt while on the beach, because wasn't sure he wanted to know what it would be like to get sand in them. And he can't just dive straight underwater without a problem. He has to breathe out before going under or out of the water. He isn't quite sure how to describe what happens when he doesn't other than gagging on whatever's in his system at the time. (Basically, if he doesn't force out whatever's in his lungs at the time, his body gets confused on what he's supposed to be breathing at the time. Post Betrayal Gordon, poor boy's been put through the wringer by the soldiers that caught him. The text says: "Gordon's LED is almost Perminantly stuck in Red." "Gordon's left eye's lost it's "human" appearance due to the damage he suffered from. Same for his left leg/elbow and his right arm." He's got the classic #hlvrai hand loss, but also some other serious damage. #Mermay Day 27: Merro shows off her "house" which is intricately woven from kelp to make it blend in with the forest. But it's too small for Zim to safely pilot his Zoot into. So, with great reluctance, he leaves the safety of his ship. But keeps a very big gun on hand. Merro seems fine with this and chatters to Dib about the balls filled with glowing plankton she uses for lights. . I was afraid to ink this one because of how nice it came out. She claims to know a lot of unusual things about ths sea and it's residents. And she's happy to let them into her home to share what she knows. Could they have found the person who knows what's happened to Dib? . Just in case anyone wanted to know, I picked an interesting fish for the mermaid here. One that I'm actually willing to openly tell everyone! Merro is a Blacksmith Fish.
