Just imagine, barty being this skinny guy with no muscles, just fat, finally deciding on going to the gym (reg convinced him), and starting with one of the weights and almost dying by dropping it in his face. Needing help, a blonde guy with a mesh shirt on runs over to help him, he has muscles but isnt ripped. And barty who probably got a concussion or something from being stupid with weights he couldnt carry, just looks at him in awe as this blonde guy tries to help him come back to his senses💀

barty is absolutely a gym bro in the sense that he DOES go to the gym (he's too fucked up and too much of a freak to actually have those gym bro vibes) but evan would rather cut his own arm than step a foot in that place (although to be fair i think he'd cut his own arm for fun)

My Evan is a massive gym rat, he’s put time into the gym and knows he looks good. He is also obsessive about how his body can change and what different diets can achieve. When’s he’s cutting he’s doing everything to achieve his dream physique. But i don’t think he’s unhealthy obsessed with diet culture, he’s just interested in it form a biological point of view.

Barty gets dragged to the gym by Evan, like he knows it’s good for his health, and hopefully it’ll counter act his smoking habit (definitely does not). He’s surprisingly strong for how lanky he is, and hates cardio, lungs give out on him. You will see him swinging on the pull up bars instead of doing what’s he’s meant to be doing
