favorite bands/groups: in kpop - of course exo is my ult group but I also really like shinee, nct, wayv, and red velvet! outside of kpop I’m a fan of arctic monkeys!

favorite solo artists: every exo member has released incredible solo music but I also really love boa, taemin, sunmi, yukika, and yerin baek! outside of kpop I’m also a huge fan of harry styles! (I was never into 1D but his solo music is AMAZING and he just seems like a great person all-round)

song stuck in your head: currently alternating between electric shock by f(x) and party, feel, love by hyuna ft. dawn...yeah I’m a little 🤪 at the moment

last show you binged: I’ve never actually binged a show, I just can’t sit still or focus for longer than 2 or 3 episodes in a row lol

dream job: it seemed like a pipe dream even just a year ago but I feel so lucky and blessed that I actually got accepted to my dream job recently! I’ll be working as a pharmacist in drug research & development 😌

dream trip: ahhh it’s always been my dream to do one of those global cruises that last like 4-6 months where you literally go around the world, on a cruise ship, and they take you to like 60 different cities along the way where you can get off for a day or two...like can you imagine waking up and exploring a different city each day AHHHHHH just thinking about it makes me very excited!!!!

favorite food: I like a lot of different cuisines! but nothing beats my mom’s homemade indian cooking

top three fictional universes you'd like to live in: 

harry potter...I’d wingardium leviosa the shiz out of everything

lotr - specifially the shire, it just seems like such a lovely happy place to live

Beginning of February

3. Where do you live?

Near Portland, Oregon. It’s the only place I’ve ever lived and I’d live here forever if I could. There’s really no other place like this. I do have to say that the events of this past year in Portland have been heartbreaking to witness and I really hope things start changing and improving soon, for the better. 

4. Three things you are doing right now?

Thinking about the stuff I need to do tomorrow, checking the time to make sure I can get some reading in before I go to sleep, my mom just came in looking really annoyed and told me that she accidentally ordered an overpriced pizza cutter online and they won’t let her cancel the order now 😂

5. Four fandoms that have peaked your interest.

hmm idk about fandoms but I’ve really been wanting to check out Shinee and NCT!

6. How has the pandemic been treating you?

I am very fortunate to say that my family and I have been safe and healthy during the pandemic. But quarantine kicked. My. Ass. Long story short, I am NOT cut out for working at home. Even though I was getting my work done, I was feeling unproductive, unaccomplished, and frustrated. My work-life balance tanked. I started retreating far inside myself to a place I don’t ever want to visit again and closed myself off from everyone. I was very fortunate to be able to start therapy and learn healthier ways to manage my stress and also the fact that I’ve been able to go back to the lab for the past two months has really helped as well. 

7. A song you can’t stop listening to right now?

Honestly, ‘Criminal’ by Taemin. It’s just such a masterpiece!

8. Recommend a movie.

‘Psycho’ - the original.

9. How old are you?

Currently in grad school!

11. Do you prefer heat or cold?

If I had to choose, cold - there’s more ways to deal with that than the heat

I’ve walked on a glacier in Alaska! Easily one of the most unforgettable moments of my life.

13. Are you shy?

Sometimes, it depends on the situation. Due to the nature of my career field I’ve learned how to be more open and talkative, but it’s a little hard at times. I’m naturally reserved and quiet and I guess this can come off as being ‘shy’, but I don’t really get nervous per se about talking to people. It’s more the fact that I don’t want to talk to other people lol

15. Biggest Pet Peeves?

When someone tells me either a) to do something I was already going to do or b) how to do something I already know how to do. Quickest ways to get me to stop listening to you.

I didn’t know what this was so I looked it up - I guess the “dandere” type would describe me the best!

17. Rate your life from 1-10, 1 being crappy and 10 being the best it could be.

uh well this is a strange question. No I’m not at 1 and no I’m not at 10, but I feel incredibly lucky and blessed to be living the life that I am. I have goals in life that I haven’t met yet, so I’m not really where I want to be, but for the moment I’m happy and I think that’s enough.
