in light of that post from earlier saying that we need to embrace problematic female characters and treat them equally to problematic male characters... it reminded me of akua lol

akua is the eldest daughter of shuzen issa, the most politically influential vampire in japan. she actually was born and raised in a small village in china (away from the shuzen family). when she was a child, she had another vampire as a friend but this other girl was too trusting of humans and was thus killed by them, causing akua to reject humanity.

at some point after that she rejoined the main shuzen family and became an assassin of unparalleled prowess, known as the "jet black devil" and one of the strongest vampires living. a master of sorcery and martial arts, she has a soft spot for her younger sister moka who reminds her of her old dead friend.

in terms of rosavamp characters i def talk about mizore more now, but akua was always my fav as a kid. she's just that meme of making the death of your gay crush everyone else's problem.
