Roman coins discovered at Finland
These Coins are from the 1st and 2nd century CE, but it’s difficult to say when exactly they reached our shores. Ancient and early medieval coins were often used as pendants/jewelry, but obviusly these ones weren’t.

* KM 8078, Pernaja - a worn out coin with image of emperor Nero,
* KM: 7594: Saarijärvi - 98-117, Imp Caes Nervae Traiano Aug Ger Doe PM TR P Cos VPP
KM 7188, Uusikaarlepyy - A badly burned coin depicting emperor Hadrian. Reverse is almost totally destroyed by fire
