 I think a good portion of the hate Rook is getting is cause of some people just forgetting that Rook isn’t an extension of Vil, nor is he his bodyguard, nor his shadow, nor does he kiss his ass. His opinions and character does not revolve entirely around Vil. Not to mention that he’s the twisted version of The Huntsman, it was super obvious that he was gonna ‘betray’ Vil for Neige in some way that mirrors that. Not just by stopping Vil from poisoning him. 

As a side note- can I just say that him actually being a huge Neige simp is  hilarious and I saw it coming a mile away the second that that doe eyed twink got introduced.

yes i’m doing this again. before i get hung for my ships hear me out:

malleriddle: i’m not sure how romantic or platonic this one is because of the laaaaarge age gap between them(despite malleus being a teen/young adult in fae years i still question if malleus is leaning more towards riddles age or an older age in human years) but i think that it’s nice that malleus compliments riddle and they seem to have a friendly relationship :) i just think they’d be nice to each other if they hung out more

leorollo: look look look i know they’ve never met but 1) both hate malleus 2) both have tried to hurt malleus(and failed) 3) both choose wits over magic. i’m not saying they’d be romantic or even platonic (or even like each other) but i imagine their relationship is more like two coworkers who hate each other so much but hate their boss even more and are working together to get him fired
