The actress had said, "It was an exhaustive process of six months to get into the skin of the character and sync into the role." in a Mid-Day interview.

On the professional front, Janhvi Kapoor will next appear alongside Varun Dhawan in Nitesh Tiwari's Bawaal. On July 21, 2023, the movie will be available on Prime Video. Rajkummar Rao, on the other hand, will soon begin filming for Stree 2. Additionally, he is working on Raj & DK's Guns & Gulabs.

RAJ KUMAR RAO SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Raj Kumar Rao was born 31 August 1984 is an Indian actor known for his work in Hindi flicks. He’s the philanthropist of several awards, including a National Film Award, three Film chow Awards, and an Asia Pacific Screen Award.

Rao graduated from the University of Delhi and he learnt acting at the Film and Television Institute of India. He also moved to Mumbai and made his film debut with Dibakar Banerjee’s plant footage florilegium film Love Coitus Aur Dhokha (2010). After a many supporting places in flicks like Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 2 and Talaash The Answer Lies Within (both 2012), his advance came with the social drama Kai Po Che! in 2013. He rose to elevation with his depiction of the late counsel and mortal rights activist Shahid Azmi in Hansal Mehta’s critically accredited biographical drama Shahid (2013), for which he was awarded the National Film Award for Stylish Actor and the Filmfare Critics Award for Stylish Actor.

After graduating from the FTII in 2008, Rao spent the coming time visiting workrooms and meeting casting directors. In 2013, Rao appeared in the Hansal Mehta- directed biographical drama Shahid, where he plays the title part of late counsel Shahid Azmi. To prepare for the part, Rao met Azmi’s family and spent time with them to understand the man and his personality. He also studied the Quran and attended courtrooms to understand how attorneys bear. Anupama Chopra called the film Rao’s” triumph”;”His Shahid has strength, anguish and a controlled wrathfulness, but also real charm.”The film was also a box- office success Rao entered the National Film Award for Stylish Actor at the 61st National Film Awards form and the Filmfare Critics Award for Stylish Actor at the 59th Filmfare Awards. His other 2013 release was the comedy film Boyss Toh Boyss Hain.

In 2013, Rao played the supporting part of a manipulative fiancé in the comedy drama Queen. The film had its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival and was released theatrically in India on 7 March 2014. It was a critical and marketable success, grossing ₹ 970 million (US$ 14 million) worldwide.
