i think grace adds a bite to romewilla, a little seasoning. It's a good idea. I feel like willa doesn't really come out of her shell until something like what happened with tom happens and i think grace is soo snarky and could bring that out in her. Plus roman would get jealous that he was going to be left behind but willa and grace would bring him back in. Maybe willa - as the more emotionally open one - coud help them communicate. Also, i just think it works because roman is soooo canonically not good at relationships. It makes sense that the trio would work for him because when he feels like he's not living up to a sexual expectation, he can just be distanced and they'll enjoy each other's company. I just think they actually would work without having to even diverge from roman's issues. peer approved

I like this! There's also the benefit that usually Roman won't have pissed both of them off, so someone would be around to mediate things a little, though I think Willa and Grace have very different ideas about mediation, lol.

Oooh it could be like Roman is still with Grace when he meets Willa but they just click and things with Grace were going bad anyways and yeah, I like that.

That's what I was thinking! I love a good poly negotiation setup, too. (And I have no doubts that both Grace and Willa are bi, don't @ me, you know I'm right.)
