"It's you," Living this deeply into the woods, it was rare for him to have visitors. Let alone recurring ones. So when he heard a knock, he'd been surprised. But upon opening it, he was stunned. Roman managed to hold composure, his voice calm, despite her scent flooding his senses and the images of the last time tugging to the forefront of his mind. "What are you doing here?"

His expression softened as his voice did, that mixture of amusement and indignance lost. Roman's hand found her cheek, cupping it gently, ready to pull away if she asked. But for now, witnessing the shift in her, the contact seemed like a good idea. "You are whole...you're just-- different now," he picked his words carefully, studying her face. It was obvious she couldn't remember much about that night. Shock most likely. And exhaustion. Because again, her body wasn't meant to withstand something like that. But here she was. Standing, albeit weakly, in front of him, "May I?" he asked, his free hand running along her hip to tease the waist band of her pants. "We can go to my bed this time, I can take care of you, scratch that itch...then we can talk," And as if she might need a little additional convincing, he pressed a kiss to the corner of her mouth, "It'll help. I promise,"
She gave him a look that said she didn't quite believe him when he said that she wasn't broken. Hallie felt like she was, because what other explanation was there for her feeling the way she's been feeling for the past month. "Well if I'm not broken, then what am I?" She questioned, suddenly feeling more vulnerable than she was feeling angry or frustrated. Hallie hated this, she felt so out of control of her emotions and just confused about what to do fix this. Not knowing what had actually happened between the two of them that night was clearly leaving her at a disadvantage. When Roman moves to close the distance between them again she doesn't move, simply nodding in response to the question of trying to take care of this issue herself. "Yeah, I tried. And no, nothing worked." She didn't know why she felt a small pang of guilt admitting that out loud to him, it wasn't like they were together and she had cheated on him. As far as Hallie knew they were just two normal people who had shared one very intense night out in the woods.

His brow furrowed as she accused him, though she wasn't exactly wrong. What he'd done...it wasn't exactly meant for her 'kind'. It happened obviously, but they weren't built for it. Hell, some wolves couldn't hack it after a knot, but he supposed that was the point. Knotting was meant to inextricably link a pair. Bond them. And the bite? Claim them. Roman had never done either with a human, let alone both. He was just so fucking pent up. And she was so delectable. Everything just-- spiraled so far out of control. "You're not broken," She was, "But if you're frustrated, I'm guessing you tried to scratch that itch already? Nothing's worked?" His questions were soft as he stepped toward her again, his head tilted. He knew the answers to both, again she reeked of her failed attempts, but he wanted to hear it himself.
She was holding strong, keeping up the attitude she'd showed up there with. However, the moment Roman took a step towards her the little blonde could feel the visceral reaction her body was having to him. It didn't help that his words brought back very vivid memories of that night, and it was all she could do to take a step back in order to maintain control. "Okay so I might have said I wanted that, but you did more than that." She insisted, a pout on her full lips as she absentmindedly reached up to scratch at the spot just below her ear. It was like there was a phantom itch there that she just couldn't scratch. "I'm not angry, you asshole. I'm frustrated!" She huffed, stomping her foot in a little show of dramatics. "You broke me or something." She whined, crossing her arms tightly over her chest as she heaved a heavy sigh and finally let her gaze drop. She didn't even really know why she was there, or what she wanted him to do about this. Hallie just had this nagging feeling that she needed to see him, and that feeling had finally won out over her stubborn attempts to stay away.

Roman tried not to inhale, but her scent was just so strong. The frustration was more apparent there, her adrenaline and cortisol seemingly simmering, as she glared at him. He wanted to ask how she kept finding her way back here. The woods were confusing, designed like an ever shifting labyrinth to which only he and the gods knew instinctively. So either someone was fucking with him or her presence meant more than he knew. Either way, he was quiet-- considering, before he stepped back, allowing her inside. It was the least he could do after nearly devouring her their last time together. He hadn't intended to knot her, but something told him he needn't explain that just yet, "Why, if I may ask, are you here to 'bitch' at me? Last I checked, everything was copacetic..."
She still wasn't sure what the hell had happened that night, she knew that she'd fucked him. Or rather that he had fucked her, and then after that? It was all a blur really, and she tried to push it out of her mind. Tried to go on a few dates, hook up with a few boys closer to her age but none of them could compare or take her mind off of Roman. It was frustrating, utterly frustrating, and ultimately what led the little blonde back to his doorstep. "Yeah it's me." Hallie huffed out, not exactly pleased by that reaction to her showing up. "Are you gonna invite me in or do I have to bitch at you from out here?" She questioned, staring up him.

"I did something?" It-- Roman had to wet his lips to conceal the smirk threatening to form on his features. He'd done a lot that night. Most of which a human, let alone one as petite as her, couldn’t normally handle. She'd been a mess when he finished with her and he wasn't surprised she suppressed it. What did was that not only had she been brave enough to come back to him, but that she was actually pissed about it. "I did exactly what you wanted, Hallie. I ravaged you, just like you asked," Arms crossed over his chest, though he was ill-equipped to disguise the amusement in his voice. Cause he could smell it on her as he stepped toward her, head tilting subtly. Layers of other young males stacked on top of one another, no doubt from where they touched her, secreting their stench through their grubby little paws. But beneath all that, weak as it now was, was his. And he bet if he got close enough, just below her ear he'd smell it there. Thick. Marked. Roman tutted, arms unfolding to run his nails across his scalp, "You're angry. But I tried to warn you...you can't say I didn't"
It's a mystery to her as well how she keeps ending up here. It's not like Hallie is the outdoorsy forest dwelling type. Afterall, the first time they'd met was because she'd gotten lost in the woods during a party and he'd been the one to see her to safety. It was some strange pull really that always led her back, but now it was getting frustrating because she didn't understand why. Hallie huffed, half pouting and half glaring up at Roman as she stomped her way inside, rolling her eyes at the question. "As if you don't know." She accused, whirling around to face him as she threw her hands into the air just to let them fall uselessly to her sides. "You," she jabbed a finger through the air in his direction, "you did something to me that night, I know you did because I swear I haven't been the same since." More specifically she hadn't been able to stop thinking about him, about what happened after he caught her, and how despite her best efforts no one else has been able to give her even a fraction of the pleasure she got from him. It was like he ruined her for anyone else, and then just sent her on her way. At least that was how Hallie felt things had played out.
