I'm proud to present our first roller shutter painting 👏👏👏 In the war of dogs vs cats, people often discuss whether dogs or cats are cuter, so I decided to combine the element of HP bar with the pets into the drawing. You can tell there are two different illustration styles in this painting; to make it looks harmonious, we use the same colour combination. The cat part is @yuwenong 's drawing; the dog part is my drawing. Thank you so much, Sam and Ho, for giving us this opportunity to paint on their roller shutters. The outcome is fantastic and pleasant! They have been running the Lazybone Pet Shop for 7, 8 years, and it's one of my favourite local shops. They have given me many tips and suggestions since I adopted my first dog Sogau 8 years ago. The couple used to have six dogs and seven cats. For many owners, beloved pets are more than just animals, and they're part of the family. So, I suggest using their pets as the theme of the painting. Unfortunately, we lost our cat Akira 3 days ago before we painted. It's a long story; I won't write too much detail here to make it short. The doctor detected a tumour between its heart and lungs. From the day we found the tumour until it passed away, it took only two weeks to happen. The grief process can't be forced or hurried along; in the process of painting, we come to accept the loss slowly. I appreciate their trust in asking us to paint the roller shutters. When the painting is done, somehow I feel like we're healing from the loss of Akira. ps. If you're looking for a reputable pet shop for your pets, I recommend Lazybone to anyone! Here's a little sneak peek of what we've worked on for the past two weeks. I've never done a mural, so painting the roller shutters is fun and challenging. Thanks @yuwenong for joining us! This is our first collaborative roller shutter project. Yuwen has a lot of experience working on murals. We couldn't complete the painting smoothly without her help.
