Rokurou looked to the corpse’s younger sister. He wasn’t going to waste his words on a fake apology. It wouldn’t feel right, anyway. It mattered not what the reasoning was or how he felt about it. He had just killed her brother, and for that, she would never forgive him.

The samurai stood with his back turned to the corpse, blocking Edna’s view of the mangled body.

“This isn’t a joke, Edna.” His solemn voice and expression conveyed that well enough.

“He’s dead. Now turn back before you see something you shouldn’t.”

It was obvious he was dead- painfully, painfully obvious- but him? He, of all people? Why... Eizen?

“Shut up. Stop talking. Get away from him.” 

Everything she’d been fighting for, all the time spent trying to figure out how to turn him back into a seraph, all of it was now a waste. It was all pointless now, because no matter what she’d never be able to save him now. He was dead.

“Get away from him now.”

Nothing mattered anymore. She didn’t even care as she felt bits of malevolence creeping into her heart, everything was sad and angry and pointless because now she could never get to see him off properly, he’d never get a chance to be saved, he was dead and she would never even know the reason why.

“I killed him, and I’d gladly kill him again.”

“What are you talking about?”

He was a hellion, something like that really shouldn’t be much of a surprise- maybe that was the very reason he’d became a hellion in the first place- but something so serious didn’t match up with him.

“Shut up. You shouldn’t say stupid things like that.”

it happens to me to but it’s an easy fix to just copy and paste your text so i just ignore it haha

“Just who exactly are you?” This guy looked suspicious, plain and simple. Not to mention, she was fairly sure he was a hellion or something, despite not looking quite like it- which in of itself was all the more reason to be suspicious of the guy.

Ah yeah, i agree with you there. Hima makes perfect sense: mountains, cool like Edna… and then there’s the dragons that live there too… hehe

Yeah, it’s something I feel that I vaguely remember but It’s also not on the wiki. Although assuming it’s true, I also saw something on the wiki about, before Lloyd, Dirk lived in an isolated cave-like place just as Altessa does, so that might explain why there are none seen throughout the game. They’re all hiding in their own cave-holes. XDD though it could have been cool if they showed some variation by having one other dwarf that didn’t follow the cave-trend

Ah, ok. And yeah, I’d believe that too- would also make sense that Dirk’d need to move after adopting Lloyd, it’d be a bit hard to raise a kid in a little cave-dugout thing xD

i know i’ve seen a few interpretations over the years *coughfanfictioncough* but the one that stuck with me was just they live in underground cities a lot of the time that’s hard for humans to reach.
