I also couldn’t get through reign for the same reasons you described but Adelaide Kane and her girlfriend are so so cute so even though I never finished reign (I barely made it to season 2) I still follow Adelaide on like every social media platform.

Adelaide Kane alone was the reason reign didn't get cancelled in their first season of ridiculous historical butchering. She carried that entire show in her shoulders for years. I also follow her on social media and she's still as amazing as ever. There are worse actresses out there who wish they could have the superb acting skills Adelaide Kane has. Sadly Hollywood doesn't recognize her talent the way they should.
