Only the war could have brought Hollywood star Jyn Erso and soldier Captain Cassian Andor together. A chance meeting at the Hollywood Canteen in 1943 blossomed into something more. But years of war and its horrors shatter everything, and not every shard can be recovered.

 This fic was inspired by "Frankly, My Dear Captain Andor" by randomdreamer01 and I highly suggest you read it. This is my attempt at continuing that story, because it left some interesting possibilities.

It is safe to say, that “NIGHTSTAR: Rogue Wings” is THE choice right now, if we talk about really new aerial Sci-Fi games, and ones that is already available and playable. It is already good really, but, as unfinished (”Early Access���) product, there are rough edges. Namely, no flightstick support. Bu there is a workaround for that, and now I copy/paste what I already said in game discussions on Steam.

While there is no decent flightstick/joystick support right now for different input devices, there is a way to play it with flightstick. Yes! Right now, game normaly detects only Xinput gamepads (aka Xbox gamepads). There is a nice utility that makes any of your PC controller act as Xinput gamepad. Utility "x360ce" (Xbox 360 Controller Emulator): http://www.x360ce.com/ Download (I used 64-bit version, there are both 32 and 64 downloads), unpack it somewhere, run. It will create files "xinput1_3.dll" (actual emulation interface) and "x360ce.ini" (your preferred buttons and axis configuration). Nice graphical interface, assign anything to whatever. After you configured buttons and axis, put those two files (dll and ini) in folder, where our game excutable is, in this case - where file "RogueWings-Win64-Shipping.exe" is. Run game, fly with flightstick like a Man (or Hot Babe, depending who reads it). I just did. Awesome! P.S.: if you, besides your loved flightstick, also have Xinput-compatible thingie (gamepad) connected to PC - probably a good idea to disconnect it before all this (just a precaution, maybe it is okay to have both, I don't know).
