Favourite alcoholic and favourite non alcoholic drink?

when it comes to alcohol i am a STRATEGIST so i don’t really have one true favourite drink but multiple go tos in different situations… like if i’m drinking for a night out it must be old reliable, the humble vodka and coke. but if i’m just having one or two drinks i usually go for a beer (camden hells is my fave but i do love finding bizarre IPAs in the supermarket beer aisle) or a sauvignon blanc… or if i’m feeling rogue a long island iced tea

and when it comes to non alcoholic drinks… as you may have been able to guess from 50% of my alcohol list i do unfortunately have a bloodstream that at this point is 50% diet coke

Day 10 of round two of the Beer Advent Calendars started with State of Brewings East Coast Style IPA. Bitter & grapefruit, it really was an old school style IPA. A good example of the style, that was just never my favorite style. Secondly was Santa’s Private Reserve, a collaboration between Rogue Brewing & Honey Mama’s. Described as a stout with tahini, tangerine & chocolate flavors, this was great. I’ve never had a beer brewed with tahini, & did not really get a sesame flavor, but the dark chocolate with tangerine/orange citrus undertones was fabulous. I can’t remember if I ever tried the Santa’s Reserve before, but I’ll definitely look for it next year. Lastly the hot sauce of the day is Extreme Hot Sauce. That one might sit on the shelf awhile.

Rogue Brewery had a launch party for their new Dead Guy IPA

I have to say I’m not normally an IPA drinker but I found it to not be overly bitter and nicely balanced.

They also had a really fun entertainment lineup there was a tattoo bus, their books were closed less than 5 minutes after the event started.

There was a circus troop performing

And there was a ceremony to announce the new beer.

There was live music too, but didn’t take a photo, was a lot of fun Rogue puts on a good party 😁

Rogue XS Imperial IPA 2014 - There's no date on the bottle so I'm guessing the year. It aged surprisingly well. Very bitter right from the start, with a distinct piney aroma.
