Nate Peck ist der neue Sänger von FireHouse

Nach dem frühen Tod von CJ Snare hat die amerikanische Rockband FireHouse nun offiziell ihren neuen Leadsänger Nate Peck bekannt gegeben. Peck, Gewinner des goldenen American Idol-Tickets 2023, hat im letzten Jahr beim Vorsingen vor der Jury, bestehend aus Luke Bryan, Katy Perry und Lionel Richie überzeugt. Richie lobte die Leistung von Nate mit den Worten: "Das war brillant... Der beste Rocksänger, den wir je hatten. Du hast es drauf!", Katy Perry schaute zum Himmel und sagte: "Eigentlich ist er SO gut"! Die Lobeshymnen aller 3 Juroren brachten ihm die einstimmige Zustimmung, in die nächste Runde des Wettbewerbs zu kommen. Peck entschied sich schließlich, die Show zu verlassen, um seine Musikkarriere auf seine Weise fortzusetzen: Er spielte Live-Musik in Nashvilles boomender Rockszene und sang als Gastsänger mit nationalen Künstlern wie Jack Russells Great White. Nate Peck wurde Bill Leverty erstmals von Robbie Lochner, dem Gitarristen von Jack Russell's Great White, vorgestellt. Leverty erklärte: "Als ich zum ersten Mal Nates Stimmumfang, Ton und Kontrolle hörte, wusste ich sofort, dass er die perfekte Besetzung für CJ sein würde, der sich von einer Operation erholte. Ich habe mich sehr dafür eingesetzt, dass Nate auf dem New England Rockfest im Oktober 2023 spielen konnte. Er lernte unsere Songs sehr schnell und war bei der Show ein absoluter Kracher. Dann schickte ich CJ ein Video, und er stimmte zu und sagte: DAS ist der Typ"! CJ und Nate wurden sofort sehr gute Freunde. Peck sagt dazu: "CJ und ich sprachen regelmäßig, ein paar Mal pro Woche. Er gab mir Gesangsunterricht, Ratschläge zum Touren und zum Leben im Allgemeinen. Er war definitiv ein großer Mentor für mich". Falling In Reverse live in Grand Rapids, Michigan (1/22/2024)

Falling In Reverse's 2nd stop was on Grand Rapids/MI, on Jan 22nd, 2024. Last time they played there was on Upheaval Festival (7/16/2023) and a magnificent open air show - right one day after RockFest in Wisconsin, where Ronnie met the most boring crowd of his career so far.

The arena was full, both FIR and Disturbed made a hell of a show and had a really good time.

Armored Dawn sorprende con nuevo sencillo “Brand New Way”

Sencillo prepara el escenario para el lanzamiento del cuarto álbum de estudio de la banda

El pasado viernes 4 de agosto, la banda brasileña Armored Dawn lanzó su nuevo sencillo "Brand New Way", que forma parte del próximo cuarto álbum de la banda, que verá la luz en la segunda mitad de 2023. A diferencia del tema pesado de los últimos sencillos “S.O.S.” y “Tides”, “Brand New Way” trae una visión más optimista de la vida, de cómo no debemos dejarnos arrollar por las derrotas o por aquellos que nos quieren derribar, ya que siempre hay un nuevo comienzo y un nuevo camino por recorrer.

Al igual que los sencillos anteriores, "Brand New Way" fue mezclado por Chris Lord Alge (Muse, Green Day, Nickelback) y masterizado por Ted Jensen (Bring Me The Horizon, Evanescence, Metallica), y nuevamente muestra una gran evolución en el sonido de la banda. La música trae la identidad característica que marca el sonido de Armored Dawn, amplía horizontes y sorprende a quienes aún no conocen la música de la banda.

Como es tradición en Armored Dawn, el nuevo sencillo también presenta un video musical súper producido, dirigido por Rafael Agostino, también tecladista de la banda. La formación actual cuenta con Eduardo Parras (voz), Tiago de Moura y Timo Kaarkoski (guitarras), Heros Trench (bajo), Rafael Agostino (teclados) y Chris Oliveira (batería).

Armored Dawn surgió en 2014 y se volvió relevante en la escena del metal brasileño. Después de todo, tocaron en giras y shows junto a grandes bandas como Saxon, Megadeth, Scorpions, Whitesnake, Europe, Hammerfall, Rhapsody, Fates Warning, Sabaton y Tarja.

Los dos primeros álbumes Power of Warrior (2016) y Barbarians in Black (2018), fueron producidos por grandes nombres como Tommy Hansen (Helloween, Jorn), Bruno Agra (We Are Harlot) y Kato Khandwala (The Pretty Reckless, Papa Roach).

El tercer álbum, Viking Zombie, fue producido, mezclado y masterizado por Rodrigo Oliveira y Heros Trench, este último un veterano productor con más de 200 bandas en su haber y un Latin Grammy.

Con un metal sofisticado y versátil, la banda recopila grandes obras en videos, como “Sail Away”, que tuvo una producción cinematográfica, así como “Beware of the Dragon”, exhibido en todos los cines de Brasil durante los avances de la película Aquaman, en 2018. “Ragnarok” y “Animal Uncaged” (grabado en el festival Rockfest, en Allianz Parque, São Paulo, cuando tocaron para cerca de 37.000 personas) suman millones de views en YouTube.

Durante la pandemia lanzaron el sencillo “Stronger Together”, el cual fue muy bien aceptado por el público.

Luego, ya preparando el terreno para el próximo cuarto álbum, “Brand New Way”, lanzaron los sencillos “S.O.S.” que contó con un increíble video musical y la pesada y melancólica “Tides”.

Grabado en Dharma Studios, mezclado por Chris Lord Alge (Muse, Green Day, Nickelback) y masterizado por Ted Jensen (Bring Me The Horizon, Evanescence, Metallica), el álbum se lanzará a finales de este año.
