I took another crack at the first alieum design I ever made for a story on my Floofs account!✨🩷 I thought it was time for a redesign, and I have to say I may continue to tweak it, but I am happy for now! ^_^ )

I also don’t think I ever really showed anyone what they look like behind that face-plate! : D I drew a lot of idea’s in the past when I was designing them initially but I feel like I finally got a design I like. Kestrons are a lil robotty, a lil buggy, and a lil bivalve-y! I wanted to give them a planet with a lot of metal/mineral enviorments, which would push their race to evolve to be able to camoflague in their native homes!

The blue-grey color scheme is the most similar to the original alieum! A nerdy silly goose named Fernal! But there are other colors and shell structures, like Sil’s. Where Sil hail’s from is more red in hue and they have these spikey growths on their exoskeleton to both blend in with that enviornment and be harder to snatch from some of the predators that exist in that specific area <: ) I have been toying with some other designs too, playing with what other rocks and minerals I could use as insperation and trying to figure out how that would change their silhouette.

How many of the voices/characters you do are unedited? I am floored every episode that you are the only VA/director/creator/editor for this entire podcast (aside from your son doing a handful of guitar!), and I am so genuinely curious how the hell you do so much as one person. Some characters like CASH have a bit of an obvious autotune (lack of a better word, I am incredibly uneducated in this) to their voice, but I am so curious to learn how much of it you are able to do with your unedited voice. Like, what characters? I feel like Tendy and Mac are unedited, but it genuinely astounds me!

Hey, that's a big question because there's so many characters and I'm prone to forget some. But this gives me an opportunity to give a proper response because I get asked it A LOT. So thank you! When we're talking about editing, there's those obvious things that I don't think are worth mentioning such as the reverb used for any minor-deity (Sphere Movers) and projected beings, the siblings, Betty and Greg. The only process that I use to actually change the voice is something called pitching, and it's done in the editing software. Here's a list of who I can remember and what changes I make in terms of pitching. Potential spoilers but only names: C.A.S.H. , Xochitlicue, Francise, Betty, Masonia, Nonny - Only very minor pitching up, and flanger for C.A.S.H. to provide that robotty sound. I could do most of these characters without pitching and you'd likely not notice. Shirley Edwards - Medium pitching up Nico Valerie, Greg - Minor pitching down. Same as the minor ups, I could do these without pitching and it probably wouldn't be noticed. Freddie Pruitt - Medium pitching down Prime Mover - Major pitching down (believe it or not, I record this one with an intentionally high voice and then make that super low) Tendy, Mac, Lawrence Cobb, Michael Partridge, Corson, Doug, Dusek, Olenus, Dale Edwards, Drystan - No pitching changes I'm probably forgetting someone so please forgive me. Hopefully that answers your question!

Voi vittu saatana 😭 mulla on ollu monta vuotta ideana vaihtaa sukunimi suvun vanhaan nimeen ja nyt viimeinkin päätin laittaa asian tulille. Siihenhän tietenkin tarvitsee sukuselvityksen. No, silloin kun isoveli vaihtoi niin hän sai vain kävellä seurakunnan toimistoon ja pyytää sieltä paperin. Nyt kun minä menin niin sanottiin että 2020 tullut uudistus joten seurakunta ei enää niitä papereita pysty antamaan, soitappa tonne Lapuan hiippakuntaan. Minä soitin ja sieltä sanottiin että soitappa sittenkin Vantaan aluekeskusrekisteriin kun asut Porvoossa. Soitan sinne ja se onkin auki vain arkisin 9-12, mutta robotti sanoo että voitkin hankkia sukuselvityksen netistä. Menen nettiin ja voi helvetti tää paska maksaa 55€ imekää munaa kirkko. Ja nyt sitten vielä tarttisin mun isoisoisän syntymäajan kun hän on viimeistä polvea joka on nimeä käyttänyt ja mistä helvetistä mun pitäis repiä mun isoisoisän syntymäaika perkele 😭😭
