It's been a while since I've participated in a bigger fandom, and I haven't been publically part of the Mega Man one since the early/mid 2000s at best, so the anxiety of jumping back in with such an accidentally ambitious project (on my phone, no less) has been through the roof. I'm really glad folks are enjoying what I'm throwing out there, even if I'm not the most interactive person-!

Nevermind. Her name is Psalm.

While she’d not be a combat robot at all, she’d possess the ability to project a crystalline hard-light shield. Shape akin to a wedge-top heater shield, with a cross covering the whole front, it’s transparent with glowing ‘wireframe’ edges and faint silvery reflectivity. It’s about a foot taller than she is, and wide enough to cover her and one other person.

The shield itself functions like Arthur's armor in Project X Zone, where it can only take one hit before breaking, but of A N Y magnitude.

When it breaks, it releases a hyperspace shockwave that temporarily incorporealizes both her and anyone immediately behind the shield with her, essentially granting the physical equivalent of invulnerability frames.
