The Innsmouth Case horror comedy visual novel coming soon on Windows PC, but holds off Linux support. According to developer RobotPumpkin Games. Due to release this month on Steam. The Innsmouth Case visual novel adventure combines horror and comedy. While taking place in the ominous and foreboding town of Innsmouth. Also, known for its sinister mishappenings. For many, it’s the proverbial end of the road. For you, it’s just the beginning of a daunting journey. So here is where you become detective. Then prepare for a perilous investigative adventure. Due to arrive on Windows PC, June 23, 2020 via Steam. The Innsmouth Case game will have you traveling to the sinister seaside town. Hoping to solve a missing persons case. A mystifying and humorous visual novel based in Lovecraft’s haunting (literally) town of Innsmouth. Following the The Innsmouth Case development. A couple of months back I did hear from RobotPumpkin Games.

We work with Unity. So it wouldn't be a big deal to port the game to Linux later on.

The email from RobotPumpkin Games goes on to explain. Stating that they are a small team. So right now, the development team "don't have the resources so far". But are "are not adverse to give it [Linux] a chance later." Since there is one only developer in charge of programming. Who is hoping to get a Linux support build out after the initial release. Additionally, publisher Assemble released a new teaser trailer. In the new video, viewers get a taste of all the town has to offer. Doing so in a witty “Visit Innsmouth” tourism promotion style commercial.
