JJK Sibling AU. I can totally see 2 year old Sukuna, when first meeting his little brother as a baby in their mother's arm, when being told "This is your little brother, Sukuna", being the kind of kid that would say "Put it back".

For the 987 ageswap au. I can totally see old man quirkless Izuku be completely unfazed by Sorahiko's fury, while of course, Toshinori is actually intimidated by the high schooler. I can also see Old Man Bakugo and Sorahiko get along like a house on fire. But I can also all three of the next gens be confused by Old Man Bakugo and Old Man Izuku's friendly rivalry that still sounds utterly nuclear to anyone outside it.
Tumblr media
oh man... yeah, okay, for both Toshinori and Nana, they're baffled by Izuku's cutesy nickname for Bakugou and him being unbothered by the outbursts. Sorahiko... I don't think he'd GET ALONG with Old Man Bakugou (tbh, I think Bakugou, being slightly bitter about Toshinori only seeming to have fair weather friends, is suspicious about this ride-or-die kid attached to The Granddaughter), but I do think he'd find Old Man Bakugou funny
(baku-jiji = old man bakugou (derogatory), midoriya-jiisan = old man midoriya (respectful))

You said that you're trying to stop to make Pheonix's hair look like a deadly weapon. Well stop it. It being his deadliest weapon is the point. Why do you think he wears a beanie as a civilian? He's not allowed to casually murder people anymore? Why do you think he was accused of destroying the ball as a kid? Because his hair is his greatest weapon. Don't stop it. Embrace it.
i guess the reason he's so particular about his hair spikes is because he wants t
to
to look sharp

Since you seem to be in a debunking mode right now, how about you clear up debunk one of the things that confuse me the most with anti-jedi talk. The ever famous moment of "Only a sith deals in absolutes. I will do what I must. " and how that is an absolute, thereby making the Jedi no better then the sith and therefore the whole shit show about everything. HOW?!
I think some people take that way too literally, rather than hearing what Obi-Wan is actually saying, that an “absolute” as a noun is:  “a value or principle which is regarded as universally valid or which may be viewed without relation to other things” or “something that is free from any restriction or condition”. It’s a contrast to the idea of “relative to other things” or “get some fucking context in there”, an absolute instead is “fuck your context” or “untempered by consideration for anything else”. The line right before it is Anakin saying, “If you're not with me, you're my enemy.“ Then Obi-Wan says, “Only a Sith Lord deals in absolutes.” Anakin is saying that the only thing that matters is if Obi-Wan is with him or against him, fuck everyone else, that context or relative other events don’t matter. And Obi-Wan is saying that Anakin’s been twisted by the dark side, that it’s a Sith Lord who would say such a thing without considering the context of how he is trying to help Anakin (Nick Gillard choreographed that entire fight scene around how Obi-Wan was trying to give Anakin time to calm the fuck down) but that Obi-Wan couldn’t ignore the bigger context of what Anakin would go on to do, what Anakin had already done to the Jedi and the younglings and the Republic.  That only a Sith Lord would say “I don’t care about considering anyone or anything else when I make my statements”. The point isn’t that Obi-Wan is saying an absolute, because he’s not ignoring context or consideration of other factors, he is very much considering other factors.  Anakin, however, is ignoring the absolute fuck out of what he’d just done to the Jedi, to the Republic, and to Padme.  And still expects people to either be with him or against him, based purely on loyalty to him, rather than reacting to his actions.  He’s dealing in absolutes, Obi-Wan is not.

I am giving you a follow both because I love your art and your happy family teacher au. But also because you need as much support and followers as possible. I hold the same beliefs as you about Endeavour. I would HATE him if his character remained the same as he was back in the sportsfestival. But come the high end arc and the beginning of his redemption arc and I have found myself supporting a mad who did WRONG but now wants to make up for it.
this is so nice to hear, thank you for being here! i agree, i don’t think I’d care for his character if he were the same as back then, pretty sure my friends dealt with my steady decline into enji simping as I watched the anime and started reading the mangas to really get in to his character. I am so glad there are people who agree! People can change!

So what is the story behind Death The Kishin and Meister Asura? I LOVE the concept, so I wish to learn more. Bad parenting that then turned into better parenting after the first child? or just to much asymmetry for Death The Kid? And how does the two differ and are the same compared to canon?
Luckily, that’s an AU I’ve actually written about! It was very much a case of Death going “This is fine” before later finding out that, no, making a child from the Madness of Order was not fine. Except then he went, “Okay, gotta make sure the next one doesn’t do that” but no, look you gave it anxiety, messed up another child is what you did.
I wrote a fic of snippets, featuring Asura dealing with Maka and Co, and Arachne dealing with this other kind of Kishin. My goal was to keep their canon traits in their alternate lives, so Asura is still fearful, and Kid is neurotic when things aren’t orderly. If there’s anything specific you were thinking of, I’m happy to ramble more about this AU for sure!

I just gotta ask out of curiosity, for your Homonculi heroes au, Greed!Izuku and Wrath!Shouto make alot of sense, but who would the other since be? Pride!Katsuki makes alot of sense, and would be hillarious if he was a just a child compared to the others.
I actually wrote down the others in the tags of my initial post!
Tumblr media
Basically my thought process was “what if the 1-A kids became homunculi in canon BNHA verse” so it’s not like I’m putting them into FMA or anything. I just loved the idea of giving them the sins and their powers on top of their quirks :’D

Here's something that I would like to see written. An angry Akira/Ren. Specifically one that unlike the game doesn't get dragged into the trouble he tries to avoid by everyone else, but instead goes to it himself. Were, like a cat it would literally be "Akira! No! Akira Yes!" and "I'm gonna sock that guy in the face" gets grabbed and pulled back by the collar "No! You're on probation, Leave that to me." I would love to see that.
i am so sorry i’m replying this so late, i tend to answer asks on my laptop but ASDFGHJKL YES!!!
I would KILL to see an angry Akira. I mean, obviously, it’s understandable on why he has to act so passive (threat of probation is a pretty persuasive incentive after all). But like a lot of the decisions, or lack of decisions/action, is just a waste. Throwing hands when the track team beats up Ryuji, barging straight into danger at meeting all new team members and the respective palaces, just straight up sucker punching Shido? God. Such a waste. Like even in P4 there’s a option for MC to fight, or jump in confrontationally at least lmao
imo it would be pretty refreshing to have a leader who’s always ready to throw the eff down, because it would be the TEAM that had to anchor him back. give me a hotheaded leader ready to fight over this forced cool and suave af joker. i mean, yeah, suave joker is ight, but i feel like most of that characterization is catering for gamer dudebros, and that’s a no for me, man (out of petty spite)
idk, i just really like this idea, because i feel like it’d give room for all the thieves to play hot and cool, push and pull. it’s not regulated to one or two members being constantly hotheaded and Joker always being this cool as a cucumber dude ready to pull you back for the greater good. these are TEENAGERS, give me more dumb flaming teens equally fucking up, helping one another, and having equal opportunity to anchor each other. it’d feel genuine and have a lot more comedic value, versus atlus’ habitual out-of-place comedic violence, or stereotypic characterization for comedy.

Hello, it's been a while, but a while ago, I remember telling you that I had bought myself a Ryuji cosplay costume and well now, now we are in the season that I bought it for. But, and I know this is pretty close to the wire, but phantom thieves works best with a deadline, could I ask you to give me as many references of Ryuji's hair from as many different angles as possible? I'm gonna need them to show my hairdresser when I intend to get it cut like Ryuji's to go the full mile on halloween.

Curse Brothers Yuji and Sukuna. Probably born off of Kenjaku's experimentations. Probably made from or with OG Ryomen's fingers. Yuji powered by the Fear Of Unaccomplished Lives. Basically, he's obsessed with life. Wants people to live their life to their fullest. But doesn't care about the destruction he causes while trying to fullfill people's wishes in ways they don't want. BFF with Mahito. Sukuna embodiying The Fear Of Losing Control. Yuji's handler basically. Because it turns out, his actual thing is The Fear Of Losing Yuji.

How do you even get and then modify the Dancing games models?
Tumblr media
My friend sent me the game and I decompiled it using QuickBMS to find the model assets then converted those models into MMD’s PMX format so I could use them. I don’t really know how to explain it well, I’m sorry. Its also been about a year since I did it so I can’t entirely remember ;v; To make the ocs I would just take parts off of various models that I converted and edit them into a new character using PMX editor. - Mod Velvet

I just gotta ask, since I recognize your art style from a AkiRyu fic that I've read to many times to count by now, but have you done the art for a story on Ao3 that I think is called "No Need To Be Brave" featuring a post interrogating Akira getting washed by Ryuji in his bathroom?
I have not, that was done by someone else–
but their art style was partly influential for me so maybe that’s why you thought you recognized it?

Unpopular Opinion: The Deception arc is the most pointless arc in The Clone Wars. Everything it did for the greater story, later arcs did and did better and the fact that they have already caught the mastermind behind the kidnapping before the arc begins and even have to break him out to get the plot going says it all. And The Box is the most pointless episode in the whole show.
strongly agree | agree | neutral | disagree | strongly disagree If nothing else, we got a whole lot of scenes of Obi-Wan being Extremely Competent and I am a simple gremlin making my way in Star Wars, I see Obi-Wan being badass, I lose my mind. To be fair, Moralo Eval isn’t actually the mastermind behind the plot and if he hadn’t been broken out, the true mastermind would have found someone else to do it or else found a way to break Eval out while the Jedi weren’t embedded in the operation. I can see the point of it--the show wanted to fray Anakin’s trust in the Jedi Order through this mission and I think it actually is a great illustration of how the plan wasn’t terribly kind, but it was also important, there were lives on the line, as far as they knew.  It feeds into Anakin’s difficulty in letting go of things, that sometimes he starts from a reasonable place, but because his fears and his anger have bitten into his heart, he can’t see past his own anger, he places people being loyal to him no matter what above everything else, he can’t let go even though it’s justifiable to be angry in the first place. Is that evidenced elsewhere?  Sure, but I like that it’s not just one bad day Anakin has, that one of the things that really works best about TCW is that you get to see how long and grueling and exhausting the war actually is, how many shitty situations with no good choices there are, and it’s not just one thing that Anakin can’t let go of, it’s a multitude. It’s not my favorite arc, but I think it has a solid place in the story and I think it gains an interesting level of chess when you take word of god commentary into account that Dooku knew there was going to be a Jedi involved, that they’d infiltrate his operation, so he was using The Box as a way to try to expose them. Some of the implications doesn’t really work, like what the actual fuck is with that hologram technology, what the fuck isn’t that used more often, if you can look like specific people??  So I do think they just threw that in for Rule of Cool and you can’t take it seriously, showing that they were writing Because Plot Demanded It, rather than that it made sense, but there’s enough good stuff in that arc that overall, I think it has its purpose.
