youtube
Better Man (Cinema - 01 Gennaio)
youtube
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (Cinema - 01 Gennaio)
youtube
Here (Cinema - 09 Gennaio)
youtube
A Complete Unknown (Cinema - 23 Gennaio)
SERIE TV
youtube
The Pitt (Max - 09 Gennaio)
youtube
American Primeval (Netflix - 09 Gennaio)
youtube
Paradise (Hulu - 28 Gennaio)
youtube
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (Disney+ - 29 Gennaio)
BUON 2025 A TUTTI VOI!

White Oleander (2002)
Tumblr media
Date watched: 7 December 2019
I was going to watch all new stuff this weekend and then I just didn't.  I had good intentions of working through the stuff on my USB and then I just didn't. And then I have a bunch of new movies on Netflix and Stan to get through (not to mention Amazon) and I was like, "You know what I'm going to watch?  Movies that I've seen before, many times."
Tumblr media
The problem is that I have to be in the mood to watch certain movies, and on Saturday afternoon, I just wanted to wrap myself up in the coziness of something that I've seen before.
White Oleander is a bloody good female-driven movie with a stellar cast.  I had to google what Alison Lohman has been up to lately – turns out she's mostly retired, so good for her.  That's the way to do it.  Make some money and get the fuck out before they can start complaining that you've lost your looks.
Tumblr media
Fucking Hollywood.
I think the most tragic part of this movie – well, one of the most tragic, let's face it – is Renee Zellweger's storyline. It breaks my goddamn heart every single time.  She and Astrid could've really made each other happy but it was taken away from them. So fucking sad.

Idea for new Steve Harrington x Reader story. "Nancy's wedding" coming soon.
Okay, so, I'm planning a Steve Harrington x Reader story. Maybe a series, I don't know. It would have fake dating. It would be set in the early 90's and in Chicago.
The summary would be something like: Steve and Robin decided to move out of Hawkins when their friends moved on with their lives away from it. That's how they ended up sharing an apartment in Chicago, working at a fancy Hotel (maybe, I'm still working on it). Everything seems to be working for them until one day they received the invitations to Jonathan and Nancy's Wedding, which would take place in Hawkins. Steve doesn't want to go back because he feels he hadn't accomplished anything worth telling; plus, he doesn't want to be alone. That's when Robin suggests that he takes Y/N, their coworker, as his plus one.
At first I thought about making it a one shot but then I felt this story needs more than one chapter. Also, I'm going to make references to the TV show ER because I saw it recently and I love Noah Wyle. It won't be much, though, just little brushes here and there.
Lot's of love, by!! ❤❤

VIVIAN THOREEN
SAM INGHAM III
BLACKBOX SECURITY
LYNNE SPEARS
BRYAN SPEARS
LARRY RUDOLPH
JODI MONTGOMERY
JERYLL COHEN
GERALDINE WYLE
ANDREW WALLET
i don’t know how any of these people sleep at night but all of them are horrible, horrible people. do not forget their names. do not forget their faces. they must be held accountable. unfortunately, this list will grow as we research more into other conservatorship cases. this is not just about britney but EVERY person who is a victim of the same situation as her. it is a violation of not just constitutional rights but human rights. as britney stated in her june 23rd court hearing, it is extremely close to trafficking. conservatorships target DISABLED PEOPLE. if there was no capacity declaration filed for someone like britney spears, think of how many others didn’t have one filed either to have all of their rights stripped away. i will say it over and over again, but this is a MASSIVE failure of the system. we must fight to expose the injustice and corruptness in this system that we have to live in. WE THE PEOPLE HAVE THE POWER. WE THE PEOPLE HAVE THE POWER TO EXPOSE THE TRUTH AND STAND UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the Leverage reboot and Noah Wyle’s role in it. I totes trust the original writers to not torpedo Parker’s Mastermind role, so I have come up with some other ways he might star in the new Leverage yet not be The Main Mastermind.
-Bright-eyed, bushy-tailed reporter who starts off as a client and decides, hey, this Robin Hood stuff is awesome and he wants to help people too. Maybe he originally ends up at Leverage because the higher-ups keep trying to bury his exposés on corrupt rich people. So basically he sniffs out baddies for the team and gets adopted and learns some stuff.
-Sophie’s new boy toy.
-Grad student turned baby criminal who wants to learn from The Best OMG.
-A mastermind of a new Leverage International team who works under the OT3.
-Sterling’s assistant who is secretly a huge Leverage fan and tries very hard to keep a straight face when Sterling does the whole ‘whoops I was not paying attention for a moment while Team Leverage takes down someone corrupt but I’m 100% taking credit for it later’. Waves at the crew behind Sterling’s back and has at least one fanboy moment he is talking to The Hardison!!!1!
-Literally they give him a bad perm and he replaces Nate Dr. Who style and nobody mentions it except some offhand line about: did Nate get like, botox or something? Since he and Sophie are retired, they defer to Parker’s Masterminding.

My internal questions for the new Leverage reboot is how they’re going to work Noah Wyle into this; is he a wholly different character? Are they going to soap opera it and have Nate undergo radical surgery to out run a new baddie and lo...its Noah Wyle?
Are they going to go full Dean Devlin crossover and somehow get Noah to play an AU version of Flynn from the Librarians.... or even better actually Flynn and the whole series is him Robin Hooding while trying to get back to the library and mistakenly calling Elliot, Jake?

@idreamofplaid tagged me to tell you my 5 favourite movies! Hmm, I really had to think about that for a while. Yes, I'd like for you to think of me as a really literate, deep person. I should put really intelligent movies on this list. But... They wouldn't be my favorites, then! I like funny, light hearted, adventure stuff. So, here's my list! In no particular order:
1. The Princess Bride
2. The classic Star Wars trilogy
3. The Indiana Jones trilogy
4. Sweeney Todd, the demon barber of fleet street. OR Les Miserable because I love musicals
5. Disney's Robin Hood OR The Sword in the Stone, I can't choose between Sir Hiss 🐍 or Archimedes 🦉 😜
6. Shanghai Noon because Owen Wilson and Jackie Chan are hilarious together
7. "The Librarian" with Noah Wyle. Really underapreciated movie series, like a mix between Indiana Jones and Warehouse 13.
Most of these I have only ever seen in the German dubbed version, so IDK if they are actually as funny as I think they are 🤔 but you could give them a try, regardless ☺️
