Mood for the next 2 weeks 🙇🏽‍♀️ After an early morning of 2 pretty short flights, I’m in Arlington,Texas for my next externship as a part of the curriculum of my clinical year of Veterinary school. My stories may be popping for the next 2 weeks, so if you’ve been missing my charming personality, you’re most likely in for a treat. 😈 Honestly though, I’ve been an emotional wreck in preparing for this trip because this will be the longest amount of time that I’ve been away from my daughter, who will be 4 in October. While I could’ve arranged this trip so that she could be here with me, I had to have a come to Jesus talk with myself and acknowledge that it would be for ME and not for her. Tomorrow is her first day of Preschool and her first day being picked up by someone that’s not one of us. While I’m stressed about it, I never give my husband a chance to show that he can step up to the plate and be superdad just like I can be supermom; so I stopped being selfish and we’re all going to have our chance to shine in different departments.
