5 - why did I start this blog?

Well cuz I didn't have anything better to do ksjdkls jkjk I was deep in the fanfic rabbithole and burning w writer's frustration n wanted to dump my ideas somewhere (anywhere really) without having to face judgment. And well I was fortunate enough to interact with very lovely people on here from the get-go :) The decision came naturally to make my rb-ing blog a fanfic blog as well

Hmm... they constantly change over time depending on my hyperfixations really. but one hobby that has stuck by for a loong time is my reading habits. I always have to read something before going to sleep (ikik some may say it's not a healthy habit but I just feel very homely and safe with a book in my hand even if its a furniture catalog)

↪ As if on cue Bo flew off your shoulder and nudged hard at a tawny owl hidden behind a branch. But he might have nudged him a bit too hard since the tawny fell off the branch and nose-dived towards the ground.

↪ You gasp but just before Keiji hit the ground he spread his wings and gracefully curved upwards, lifting up from the ground and perching on the branch closest to you. And looking into his dark, adorable eyes, you didn't find it in you to just leave him behind.

↪ And that is how your home turns into an owlery; a warehouse of owl feathers reverberating constantly with hoots of the two owls flying freely in your apartment.

↪ Bo owl is very energetic, always nipping at your ears early morning to wake you up for his daily outings. He loves those you know! He's always flitting around from room to room, sometimes nudging Keiji to follow him. And he hoots a lot. Like a lot. Bby owl has a lot to say

↪ Keiji on the other hand is a very prim little guy. He never strays too far away from you when you take them outside for their daily morning outings. He always perches at neat and clean spots like the window sill, or the back of the couch unlike a certain great horned owl whose favorite place to perch is the toilet flush box.

↪ But together they both are a very chaotic duo. The way Keiji sometimes flies after Bo makes you wonder if he's trying to stop Bo from doing some nonsense again.

↪ Nonetheless, you are the heart and soul of the two birdies. You taught them to give you kisses and now they basically wake you up like that. Needless to say, Bo and Keiji definitely ensure you know they love you in their own little birb ways!

↪ And yours is a particularly hyperactive one; he goes snooping around the whole house, sniffing at stuff, and disappearing randomly. You have to tread around the rooms very carefully, scared you might squish him under your feet. He gives you a mini heart attack every time he does that. Disappearing off beneath the couch or furniture and then jumping before you to startle you.

↪ Shoyo has a habit of shoving small trinkets into his mouth whole, so you learn never to leave out stuff like your keys in his reach. Slowly but surely, you learn and adapt. And the little guy becomes a part of your daily life.

↪ Shoyo's favorite activity is climbing your study table and laying on your palm like a deadbeat while you study. He will snuggle with your fingers, tittering until you instinctually rub his belly and give him attention.

↪ He hates being in the cage. He would rather be squished beneath you in the bed than sleep in his lonely cage. But it's a necessary precaution to cage him up for the night. And so when you open the cage every morning, Shoyo skittles out like a race car, rushing around the floor like a headless chicken before snuggling into your socked feet.
