I love transcribing music. But also. I hate transcribing music.
#rn im uploading the lyrics from trevor: the musical to genius lyrics#but most often i transcribe an album or soundtrack in a googledoc#and then alphabetize it#and then hand write the alphabetized lyrics in a notebook i find#ive done 2 new york dolls albums 1 dog park dissidents album 1 they might be giants album#the how to dance in ohio soundtrack and the newsies soundtrack#i also dont mean i alphabetize by line#i alphabetize individual words#its such a useless thing to do that it makes me happy#theres no reason other than having a book of all those words that in a different order are a piece of art#but the way i have them are meaningless
