Belxari6. What were they like at school? Did they enjoy it? Did they finish? What level of higher education did they reach? What subjects did they enjoy? Which did they hate?She was homeschooled. Sylmore taught her magic and grifting. Also some of her theatre skills. The rest were primarily through watching actors do their thing. Merric taught her second story work. This isn’t what you’re asking though. I know what you’re asking. Fine, I’ll give you the answer you want. Belxari went to a school once. It was quite literally one of the single most traumatizing events in her life. She nearly died in some sort of blood ritual, nearly died when the building started burning down around them, and she nearly died a couple times after that. But I don’t know if that necessarily has anything to do with the trauma. It’s probably the fact that Sylmore snapped at her after she told him to pick the lock faster to get them out of the burning room faster. Yeah, that’s it. Nothing to do with anything or anyone else at all. She did not enjoy her time in school.

Oat5. Do they have any siblings? What’s their names? What is their relationship with them? Has their relationship changed since they were kids to adults?She has an older brother named Quinn. They didn’t have an especially strong relationship, but only because she was more into video games and he was into Pokemon, so he was outside and she was inside most of the time. When he left home, it caused some problems in the family and their father ended up leaving shortly after Quinn. She hasn’t spoken to her brother since he left.

18. What’s their favourite genre of: books, music, tv shows, films, video games and anything elseSci-fi is her jam. All the future-tech. Also open sandbox RPG video games (Skyrim, Breath of the Wild, etc.) that aren’t necessarily sci-fi. She likes to do her own thing and wander into the plot on accident. 

25. What do they find funny? Do they have a good sense of humour? Are they funny themselves?Her sense of humor is absolutely the worst. She’s the sort to say something almost funny, and then just snort-laughs disregarding everyone just staring. 

26. How do they act when they’re happy? Do they sing? Dance? Hum? Or do they hide their emotions? Her emotions are on her sleeve. She has a feel, she just goes for it. She cares not for the social constructs that tell her not to do so. 

33. What underwear do they wear? Boxers or briefs? Lacey? Comfy granny panties? Um. Uh. Uhhh. We’re just gonna go with Those Girl Boxers I guess?

47. How do they act in a formal occasion? What do they think of black tie wear? Do they enjoy fancy parties and love to chit chat or loathe the whole event?Awkward forever. She is the most awkward creature. Dresses aren’t really her thing, and suits aren’t her thing really either. She’s definitely a small gathering of friends just chilling kind of person. 

Siren4. What is their relationship with their parents? What’s a good and bad memory with them? Did they know both parents? As a genasi, she really only knows one parent, her mother in this case. Their relationship was originally just fine. Siren worked on a merchant ship as a sailor, and was able to visit home with surprising regularity. And then she was shipwrecked and went a bit insane and her new mission keeps her away from home quite a bit more. She’s only been home a couple times since then, leaving the relationship… malnourished. She is one of the few people Siren legitimately likes. Her mother was a baker, and sometimes she let Siren “help” her when she was a small child. These times always resulted in the worst baked goods imaginable. But they were fun times, often resulting in both of them having more flour on them than anywhere else. They would often go get ice cream - still covered in flour - while whatever they made was cooling. 

21. Do they have a temper? Are they patient? What are they like when they do lose their temper?Thin patience. Her relationship with everyone began strained, and likely only worsened from there, unless you managed to prove yourself to be not the most annoying person ever. If you truly anger her - not just annoy her, but legitimately anger her - she may respond by casting Fire Bolt on your face. Or she might just decide that you no longer exist and will outright ignore everything you ever say and do until she gets over it. Which she may or may not ever do. It depends on the circumstances ultimately which way she goes. 

30. Do they exercise? Regularly? Or only when forced? What do they act like pre-work out and post-work out?Before being shipwrecked, she worked on a ship every day, which is enough of a workout on its own. Now, she has daily practices she does to keep herself semi-limber and ready to fight as necessary, but it isn’t necessarily a work-out per se. But sometimes she does. She tends to be in a little bit of a better mood afterwards because adrenaline and all that jazz. 

39. Do they like letters? Or prefer emails/messaging? No, don’t talk to her. If texting existed, she would only communicate via that, only when necessary, and with the fewest number of words possible. Like three days later. 

46. Do they make a good first impression? Does their first impression reflect them accurately? How do they introduce themselves?No. Sort of. She doesn’t. Siren does not like people. She has an entire civilization in her head, making people even more The Worst than they had been prior. She is very blunt about how much people annoy her, so most first impressions will be of a very angry person who hates you in particular even though you’ve only just met. If you get to know her, you will discover that she…. hates you personally now that she knows you. Maybe. 

Rixy14. Do they have any specific memories of food/a restaurant/meal? She doesn’t have any memories. :DBut she does have a small book with a list of what she assumes are city names and a rating of their prisons. Categories include things such as cleanliness, comfort of facilities, several categories rating the guards, and the quality of meals. 

29. What do they do when they find out someone else’s fear? Do they tease them? Or get very over protective? It depends on whether she thinks it’s a silly fear or not. She’ll maybe tease them a little when she first finds out, but she’ll never intentionally screw with them. (She might forget. She might find a really neat bug and show you excitedly, only remembering your fear of bugs after you’ve reacted negatively. She will apologize. She might do it again on accident later. She doesn’t mean to. There’s just so much to remember about people.)

48. Do they enjoy any parties? If so what kind? Do they organise the party or just turn up? How do they act? What if they didn’t want to go but were dragged along by a friend? She is all about going places and doing things. She doesn’t care what is going on; if there is a gathering, she will absolutely show up to see what’s going on. She will talk to every single person and become friends with everyone, their extended family, and all of the pets. She will inevitably walk away with random shiny and/or interesting things that belong to not-her. It’s a good thing she found your lost object. It would have been a shame if it had been lost forever.

I decided to make a list of the D&D characters I play, because apparently I play a whole bunch now. O: I listed them in order of their creation. 

Rixy Firefur

Kender Sorcerer (wild) 1 / Rogue (Scout) 1  5/18/13/12/8/16 Rixy has existed twice in approximately the same form, though without the wild sorcerer aspect in her first incarnation.  She appeared in a field with no memories in tact concerning her world. She remembers some random family members and anecdotes and how she functions, but that’s about it. Also she apparently has magic now, which is completely weird and new and she doesn’t know how she feels about that. (She will be taking her levels in Rogue [scout] from here.) Rixy wandered into town and made friends and then one of her friends got kidnapped and adventure began. She’s been offered training for her magic (that she isn’t entirely certain she has) and has found the first person in her existence that she doesn’t like, but that’s it’s own thing.

Amber Ravenwood

Human Monk (open hand) 3 12/18/14/13/15/5 She was originally a character played for a one-shot when we took a break from Original Rixy, which turned into a two-shot. Then later I played her again, but slightly leveled down. She was a sailor whose entire crew was killed by pirates. She has vowed to kill any and all pirates on sight because screw those guys. At some point she ended up in Timeless Space where she killed some pirates and almost rode a dinosaur and then accidentally killed a dino egg. Since escaping Timeless Space, she has decided that she wants to fill the world with dinosaurs. She is currently preparing to take a train trip to see a gnome about some dinosaur eggs and stuff. 

Belxari

Tiefling (vampire) Bard (lore) 14/Warlock2 18/18/18/17/11/22 Kidnapped and then rescued/found as a baby, Belxari was raised by a theatre troupe. Said theatre troupe used their theatrical skills to rob from the rich who hired them or were otherwise interested in Hosting The Prodigious Actors in the group (their reputation wasn’t entirely a lie, but it wasn’t entirely accurate either). After one job went super sideways, Belxari left the troupe with her best friend Sah, intending to nurse her hurt everything (feelings?) back to health and also to break a curse that had been placed on Sah.  While adventuring, she became a vampire and the champion of a goddess, encountered (five?) temporary companions, obtained a dragon “familiar” (who is super not a familiar), and has generally become annoyed that Things Keep Happening Why Won’t They Stop Happening. 

Siren

Water Genasi Cleric (grave) 9/2  16/10/15/9/18/9 and 13/13/18/10/19/8 Siren exists in two different campaigns. Campaign two Siren has no backstory because that campaign is just a murder hobo campaign and I’m just doing my best to keep people from dying. It’s only sort of working. The original Siren was a sailor who ended up shipwrecked in a storm. She and the few surviving members of the crew ended up on a deserted island, where they all slowly succumbed to things such as death and insanity. Siren was the last alive, and as she slowly lost her mind - from trauma, malnutrition, etc. - she imagined (maybe) that her shipmates were coming back to kill her for taking their belongings in her attempt to stay alive. She was rescued by fantasy frat boys who happened upon the island on holiday. She nearly killed them, but they managed to wrangle her and get her help. As a result of her experiences, she took up the motto of “The dead should stay dead,” with the belief that taking the belongings of the dead is a fine way to make the dead angry and come back. She began to follow the god of death Lysaro, becoming a grave cleric. She has since joined groups of adventurers and archaeologists who intend to go to burial sites, intending to slay anyone who dares mess with the belongings of the dead in such a way that does not honor the dead or might otherwise anger them.  One such adventure resulted in the entirety of an ancient civilization taking up residence in her mind. Her group was granted a set of armor to Remember them by. Said suit of armor was stolen by Belxari and her party. She is very not okay with anything.

I was the first KO’d in our D&D session. Two goblins hit me for exactly 10HP - my max health. So naturally I had to draw it.
