This is Malaija Bates; she's 15 years old & has been missing since September 7 before 9 am. because of her age she can be classified as a runaway therefore the PD's hands are tied; they can't issue an Amber Alert. However this is still a 15 year old missing, so we -as a community, a town and neighbors all need to pull together & spread the word, share her picture, tell your friends and pre-program the Riverside Police Department's phone number in your phone just in case you even just *see* her. If she isn't a runaway then something awful has happened & will continue to happen; & even if she did run away she's still someone's child and needs to be found.. If you're one of Malajia's friends& have had any contact with her or if you know anything- even if you think it was 'just a joke', report it; you could help tremendously, regardless of how or why this girl is in trouble.. Her parents would much rather have her home right now. So let's start our own Amber alert; spread the word & keep your eyes open.
